Working with Jessica was a blast. Her professionalism and energy makes every encounter special. She recommended colors and fabrics for our space that were right on point. The design consultation was pleasant and easy. I would definitely work with her again. The installation on our house was a little tricky. The window we were covering was 2.5 stories high. The only way to access the top was from a ladder on a 2 foot ledge. Talking about risky, we were scared of them falling the entire time. The guys got it up there and after a few shaky moments the shade was hung. The alignment was off due to an outlet so we had to move the outlet and Jessica arranged for the guys to come back out and adjust the screen to center it. Our ceiling is level so the shade may look tilted but it's level. The skim coating of the ceiling was not even. That's another job to be completed in the far distant future. The shade is up and looks beautiful. The window is custom to the house with a beautiful shade to highlight it in the morning and night!! Beautiful roller shades and the ordering process was a breeze. They were quick to set up home visit, measured, asked great questions about my preferences and gave me a quote right away. Scheduling and installation also very great. There was a slight problem with the product from Hunter Douglas (HD) and they advocated with the HD to get perfected. It actually took a few visits and tries, but the team was amazing and kept me in the loop the whole time. On the last visit, my original sales person Mandy even showed up to help and ensure everything was perfect. Natasha has helped me twice: once in the kitchen and once in the guest room. She displayed a very appropriate array of samples of fabrics to fit the need I had in the kitchen. She also helped figure out the best way for me to open and close the blind over the kitchen sink because I'm short and couldn't reach the shade when it would be open. Voila; she produced a remote controller that works like a charm! For the guest room, I needed a replacement for the storm-ruined Venetian blinds, but had a tight time frame because a friend from Minnesota was coming in just a few weeks. Natasha put in a Rush Order for me and the blinds were successfully installed the day before Vicki arrived! Yes I created a yelp account just for the occasion of reviewing Skyline. Initially I had wondered how can this place consistently receive such wonderful reviews. Then I met Darcy and it all started to make sense. From our first meeting she was professional and kind, giving me recommendations of what worked with my home. Never did I feel foolish for not having a level of expertise around Darcy, which is partly why I steered clear of others I received quotes from. The process was so simple. Since materials and install would be about steered months out, she even came in to check up and installed temporary coverings in those rooms needing privacy. As for the installers Anthony and Cameron, they just left from a whole days worth of work installing shutters and I could not wait to give the entire crew a glowing review. Anthony and Cameron were the best installers I have ever had in my 10+ years owning homes. They called early morning to let me know they would be arriving, and even on the phone I could tell Anthony enjoyed his craft. When they arrived, their work spoke for itself. Framing was seamless. Work area was clean. And honestly they were just kind gentlemen to talk to and ask questions. They were always communicative regarding what they were doing and why. Anthony welcomed any critique if I could, and I wouldn't, find along the way. Cameron was so kind as to ask if they needed to start a room so my 2 year old could nap!
