She showed me an after hours dropbox that is activated by a key fob on the side of the building in the event of a drop off after the office closes. I received a call on the day of drop off from an employee named Julissa who is incredibly condescending and aggressive and stated "don't you think you were supposed to bring a car back today?" I explained to this employee that I was on my way and was under the I had the ability to drop the key in the automated key fob slot that I was shown on the day of pick up. Julissa stated she will be charging me an additional day of rental because it is beyond 5 o'clock. I explained to her that I was never told this policy and argued that this was not fair. She then stated "how about I just charge you five dollars extra since you're only a little late." I have never encountered a company who can allow employees to just change policies on the spot, and I fully believe she would have been completely fine to charge me the extra day and made up the five dollar charge just because I was unhappy. I will never rent from here again and I plan on telling everyone I know!!!

I notified them of incorrect part, they wanted me to ship back (I would pay shipping $35, I already paid the original $35 shipping cost). I have a GM vehicle that I am financing through another GM dealership…read more It required an extensive repair that was covered under a special coverage for a service bulletin. Original dealer is a 45 minute drive. This dealer is local to me. They replaced both components (Intake manifold and camshaft cover), seals, and extra hoses. (Was initially told I'd be charged for the hoses before the vehicle went in, considered a wear item.) All of the staff in the service department were prompt and helpful. Was told it would be a day or two for it to be diagnosed and what prices for extra parts would come to. Didn't get a call the first day, called later in the day, wasn't finished yet, needed parts. The following afternoon, not thinking it would be finished due to parts, it reluctantly was finished, but needed to be driven by the technician for a short time. Had the vehicle back and running great again by 1pm. No issue in the past weeks since. I've given a bad review on this dealership a few years back, definitely take that back. I'd now consider going here after my current vehicle is paid off to buy another. Thank you.

Jerry Sold Me A Car That Stopped Working After 4 Months!…read more My name is Mercedes Collazo, I am a NYS Registered Nurse that bought a home in Pennsylvania in 09/2020 and needed a car for my transportation to from NYC to PA and vice versa until I can settle down in PA. I bought a 2014 Dodge Dart on 09/24/2020 that claimed to be certified pre-owned with only 1 previous owner from Jerry's NorthEast Auto Sales located at 1254 PA-61 S, Pottsville, PA 17901(sold to me by Jerry himself); the car cost $13,000 for which I paid $9,000 as the down payment. I have been working in the hospital radiology department (CT & MRI, scanning mostly COVID patients) throughout the pandemic with the exception of the 6 weeks I took off post-surgery from October-December 2020 (which was 6 weeks the car only was driven locally). I trusted Jerry because he told me about his extensive experience in car sales and deep roots in the town. On January 13, 2021 the car started having a screeching noise so I called Jerry's NorthEast Auto and was suggested to go to a local mechanic and informed that my warranty expired December 24,2020(3mo, 4,500miles: I am currently at 45,000+ miles from the 38,000+ miles at purchase). Even though I as insulted that I was being brushed off, the next day I brought it over and did a diagnostic test for which I was told that the transmission specialist would need to inspect my car. On January 15th, the car started but would not shift gears/move so it was towed back to the mechanic and was told that my car would need to be repaired by the dealership because the transmission issues were out of the range for what they were able to repair. On January 18th my car was taken to a local dealership and I was told that the transmission, flywheel and spark plugs would all need a full replacement (not repair) for $5,800. On January 20-21 I was told by Jerry himself to send my car to another local car repair shop and that he would "take care of everything" which sounded amazing given all the circumstances until I was told that with the contribution that Jerry was offering (labor + $600), the minimum repair cost was still listed at $4,000. So, in total I am expected to pay a minimum of $17,000+taxes, fees and interest if I have to get a loan for the repair which I will have to because my financial situation with the recent move and recently elevated heating oil/gas prices and my 2 kids doing school online from home, I cannot afford it! I have had to rent a car for over a month (3 day then 30 day rental) so I can go to work and get around until I can figure out my next option so with all the money being spent, I could have bought a brand new! Please, before you decide to be in debt for $17,000+ or put a large down payment on a used vehicle like I did, beware of Jerry's NorthEast Auto Sales located at 1254 PA-61 S, Pottsville, PA 17901, you may have the same issues I did. I would never have bought a vehicle for that much money to expect it to be such a heavy cost for repair 2 weeks after the warranty expires/4 months after purchase, so please be more careful than I was with where and how you spend your hard-earned money when deciding if you want to buy a vehicle from Jerry's NorthEast Auto Sales located at 1254 PA-61 S, Pottsville, PA 17901. I am still in need of a reliable vehicle for work and now feel a new car is the best option for my family, unfortunately with all the immense expenses I will have to take out another major loan to get a car so I don't have to keep extending my rental car service. All I want to do is be able to provide for my family while supporting my team against the fight with COVID-19 and with my purchase from Jerry's, I feel totally screwed. Sincerely, Mercedes Collazo RN, BSN

We drove 2 hours to see it and loved the truck but decided to sleep on it and drove home. Everyone at the dealer was great. No high pressure and they genuinely seemed to care about our needs. After sleeping on it, we decided to move forward and called Cody Bailer who was our salesperson. We placed a deposit over the phone and they pulled the truck from inventory, locking us in. I shopped for a loan on my end and let them know the rate I was able to get. They asked if they could shop for a better rate for me. Who does that? I have worked with many car dealers over the years and have never had a dealer try to see if they could get a better rate for me. Well, they did - a whole percentage point lower than I could get on my own and over 5 years, that amounts to a chunk of change. They then worked directly with the bank, while they got the truck ready for me to come out and pick up. They gave me a punch list of everything they would need from me and even took care of calling my insurance agent to ensure the truck was fully covered before I drove off the lot. Sands was an amazing dealer to work with. In 30+ years of buying cars, I have never, ever, worked with a dealer that was this good. They genuinely cared about and took care of my needs through the entire process.

It had only 88,000 miles on it, New tires we thought we had a great vehicle. Well until it came time for inspection in September. I made the appointment for inspection and they were booked so they gave us a card for another garage. Took it for inspection the next day and the mechanic came out and said no way will it pass inspection, and in no way should it have been sold in this condition. The frame had holes in 3 different spots and had already been repaired in 2 places. We even asked if the frame was good and was told yes. We asked was it ever repaired was told no. I immediately took it back and told them. They had it for weeks. People would see my jeep driving around all over and it was supposed to be in repair. Almost 3 weeks until it was returned. When the jeep was returned it had blown fuses I immediately called I explained some inside lights no longer worked and the CD player didn't work. I was immediately called a lier. I asked why the battery wasn't disconnected while the frame was being welded and was ask how I knew, I said clocks don't set themselves then was told you dont have to disconnect it and was told the person driving it was listening to the stereo that day so I'm not telling the truth. It wasn't the front stereo it was the 10 disc CD player. Then the jeep was slow at starting, replaced alternator, then while driving it would shut off the fuse for the fuel pump would get hot and pop off. There mechanic said it was the fuel pump getting hot needed replaced. Approximately 1 week in there possession to change a fuel pump and people seen my jeep all over while in there possession (this time I had my own gps in it) it went almost 75 miles while in there possession. Went to pick it up and asked if the fuel pump was replaced was told no didn't do it for us while we had it running in our lot. I asked about the 75 miles was told it never left the lot. Yet I had photos with dates and gps to show otherwise. Then while driving oil pressure gauge would show oil pressure lost. I called and said I was having it towed in and was told to drive it as long as it wasn't rapping. LoL... NO! I dropped it off as per my appointment but I took my license plate with me. There not joy riding on my insurance. I called to see what was going on and was told they were going over it 3 separate times. Next surprise was my registered letter of my voluntary repossession. NEWS TO ME! I called and was told I took my license plate they assumed I returned it. But had no answer when I asked if I returned it why would I have been calling to see when it would be done? After all they already knew about the joyriding. Long story short State Attorney General straighten it out. They took the jeep back and refunded some money. Btw they don't report to credit bureaus as they state. Best stay away from these little crooked clowns. If they don't like a review on there website they get out there eraser before anyone sees. BUYER BEWARE!!
