Recently, my son purchased a 1995 Chevrolet 1500 pickup from this business. I could not be more happy with the service be received. JSI staff worked very hard to bring the truck up to our expectation. They put a lot of time, effort and money into fixing it right. The truck ran rough the first time we drove it and stalled on acceleration. These guys dig deep and figured out the cause of the problem. I know they had to lift the bed to get into the fuel tank and replace the fuel pump. They did a lot of other work to the motor. They even found a rusted brake line during inspection and fixed it. They could have easily passed it off and let it become our problem later. These guys told me that they take their reputation seriously and that vehicles leaving their lot have to be right. I could tell they took pride and integrity in their job. They were very accommodating of my busy schedule and they helped my son learn some things about car buying. Overall, this was a top notch buying experience!. I highly recommend them. The shop was busy too, the entire time I was there. Don't let the simplistic look and the run down appearance of their real estate fool you. These guys have their heads under cars all day long. They can do things I can't!

This was THE ABSOLUTE worst service I have ever gotten from a garage. I went in there for a…read morediagnostic alert on my truck. I'm 38 weeks pregnant and the guy said it would take an hour. After 2.5 hours later I had to go up and ask the status of my truck to find out that it was sitting there waiting for me. I was charged $160 for them to tell me they couldn't diagnose my vehicle because of damage that happened a year ago and the alert has been on for 3 days. Then they told me I needed new shocks, roters, and brakes to pass inspection at DOUBLE the cost of any local garage. I would never recommend this place to someone.

Thanks to Jim Sophy for the no pressure experience buying my new truck this past week. Jim and the…read moreother folks at Outten were very respectful of my time and money. The day my wife and I stopped to "kick tires" I didn't have the time to actually buy a vehicle that day. Jim gave me a good deal right up front - no back and forth crap with the pricing. I explained I had somewhere to be and didn't really have time to complete the deal that day. Jim gave me the option of taking my truck with me or letting it with him to take care of the Rhino liner and bed cover installs. I chose to leave the truck and pick it up later that week. My schedule got very busy that week so Jim made arrangements for me to stop in and finish the paper work before my truck was ready and then just stop by and pick the truck up later in the day when my schedule freed up. When I did stop in to do the paperwork I was informed of all of the options available to me but was not pressured into buying all of the options. I chose what was right for me and my budget without the pressure. Thanks guys and gals for a job well done.
