Overall, I love being able to play as often as I want with so many different groups of people. Bay Area volleyball players are really lucky to have it. Especially when you don't want to wait around for the monthly NCVA tournaments.

There are Men's, Women's, Coed, and Reverse Coed leagues accommodating players with a range of skill levels, from those who have just started learning volleyball (coed B), to players who have played on their college team. It's really a lot of fun, great competition, good exercise, and a nice way to meet people. The guy who runs the leagues, Kirk Anderson, has been doing this for over 25 years, and knows how to run leagues! He's also very helpful if you have any questions. They explained the rules very well and helped organized our group and got us started. The Segways are in tip top shape. They also capitalized on safety. When you first see the Segway and think how you're going to balance is a little nerve racking but once you're on it, it's quite very easy as the machine itself is self balancing. The polo part is the best! You'll get a good work out. And speeding thru and leaning on the Segway is really fun.. addicting actually. I'd recommend to try this new form fun on your next event.

She has had her greatest skill jump playing for BBV and she feels like she has found her home. We are hoping that she can continue to learn and grow with the team in the coming years.

The referee didn't have any control of the game and our well behaved team was fouled constantly by the other team. The referee even told one of our well behaved teammates (8 y.o.) who has always been a clean player to "don't f#%&'n dive". I don't recommend at all signing up for this tournament. I filed a complaint with Juventus and they have not responded.

We have had a good experience with Red Rock Redwood City, and in particular coaches John, Bri,…read moreHarley, Christine, Gabriel and Claudio. RR Redwood City underwent significant changes before 25-26 season with many great improvements on the boys' side at least. I can't speak to girls. Bri has brought fresh ideas as boys' head director and John is on top of scheduling and family communication - something many other clubs don't prioritize as well. Sports house is a great facility too with 9 volleyball courts (7 regular, plus 2 converting a basketball court). Red Rock has control of court time at Sports House and therefore can support its teams' court needs. We were with a boys' power team and have also attended countless RR clinics and camps which were high quality as well.
