I know my own church is always beautiful and fragrant with flowers everywhere and, a lot of times, they were donated by the Amedeo's Florist, who attend there regularly. Amedeo's Florist have been serving as an Akron Ohio florist and Firestone Park florist for over 50 years. In fact, I bought my first corsage there for my HS sophomore dance and my first real date, many years ago. (Won't say how many!) I only had a couple bucks in my pocket, but it was a beautiful flower and my date was very pleased. I still don't know if I paid enough. I remember the lady had a big smile on her face as she knew it must have been my first time buying a flower. I will never forget that day! The lady asked what kind of container, I said a nice box or anything unique but not a vase as my mother has a ton of those. I said I wanted it to be asymmetrical and have structure to it. She asked how much I wanted to spend. I told her I didn't know how much that kind of thing I'm asking for goes for. She just stared at me. So I threw an amount out to see what she'd say, I said "I don't know, $100?" She was all to happy and rang me up for $100. I went on Monday at 1pm. Upon walking in I saw a different older lady and two younger ones sitting at a back table doing nothing but chatting. One younger girl came up and I told her my name for an order. She went in the cooler and came out empty handed. Went somewhere else. Came back empty handed. Then she goes to talk to older lady and comes back and says the yellow roses just came in 5 minutes ago and my arrangement is not ready. Wait what!??? So I showed up an hour later then I said I would and you have nothing? And NO ONE CALLED TO TELL ME THIS!? So the older lady came up and she seemed all nervous and jittery and she told me to hang on they'll make it now. Oh great, I'm sure that's going to come out great now that you're rushing. So I politely said I'd wait even tho I was not happy. Then she comes back to tell me the yellow roses actually did not get delivered!! And now she said they'll get some somewhere and they'll even throw in a few extra roses and a couple of balloons and they'll deliver it within the next few hours. I was really concerned now that I was not going to get what I wanted so I said that. She got kind of rude and snapped back some of the things the other lady had wrote in the notes on Friday. Ok. So. They did deliver in about 2.5 hours. However, it was NOT an arrangement by any means. It was basically 1.5 dozen roses stuck in a clear glass vase (you know, the thing I didn't want), and a few extra filler things that looked thrown in randomly to make it look asymmetrical! Very poorly quickly done. NO EFFORT was put into this. It is definitely NOT unique! I showed the original lady on Friday about 10 pictures of ideas. I can tell you this looks NOTHING like the arrangements I showed her. I will never trust them again!

I came across Countryside online as it seemed to be the only one in town. While the website is a bit clunky, it does have quite a large collection of photos featuring arrangements for every occasion with prices ranging from $40 to a couple hundred. I was impressed with the selection. I was able to choose my arrangement and pay using PayPal online, which is very convenient. After I submitted my order I realized that I had completely screwed it up! I had entered the incorrect address and there was an error in my phone number! I found the contact email on their website and emailed them, letting them know what the correct address and phone number were. I also Asked them to give me a call to confirm the changes. I honestly didn't expect them to actually call back, and had planned on calling them the next day anyway just to make sure. Within a few minutes I received an email back from an employee who stated that they received the correct address and would deliver it no problem. I was impressed with how quickly I received a response! A couple days later, my friend sent me a text and a picture of the arrangement, which was so bright, cheery and extremely cute. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Countryside Florist!

Selection of the blooming houseplant and peace lily were on spot, especially in the middle of the dreaded snow storm. First and foremost, the firecracker of a woman that owns it is magnificent; a boisterous personality, mixed with an insane desire to do anything we wanted for our wedding made sure she was the florist for us. Our requests were minimal: Two large centerpiece flowers, five arrangements for my bride and her four bridesmaids, and four corsage for our mothers and grandparents, nine lapel for me and my four groomsmen as well as our grandparents and children. What we got exceeded our expectations, especially for the money we spent. The two gigantic (seriously, over two feet tall each) vase at the head of the churches stood another two feet above that, and two feet out in either direction of some of the most beautiful white and light green flowers (our colors were white, sage/peridot, depending on where you look at it and silver) you'd ever see. I couldn't even begin to guess how many flowers and plants are in these arrangements. And the bouquets? Packed with flowers. These aren't just seven flowers and some baby's breath around some green plants. Again, there's likely twenty different flowers packed into a tastefully done bouquet on the smaller side, and yet each girl was beaming -- BEAMING -- with joy while they stared at the bouquet they carried down the aisle. My favorite part though has to be that the arrangements are sitting on my dining room table as we speak. I've cooked dinners since and yet all I can smell are these flowers, which look exactly like the day we brought them home. No, my Yelp! friends, there will never be a time that I don't order flowers from Affordable Florals.

Had flowers ordered for my grandmothers' funeral. Large order 900$ plus tax. This including both my…read morebrothers, and my father and self. Asked for easel arrangements. Wanted full flower arrangements and were willing to pay extra to make this happen. All sibling arrangements were to be the same except different colors. They were not. My specific easel was pink Roses and Lillie's. Flowers showed up to the funeral home wrong, missing Lillies and not full at all. I had maybe 20 small roses and 6 inches apart between each flower. So not full either. My mom saw them first and sent them back for Lillie's to be added as that's is what we paid for. I show up to the funeral home and see what they delivered. My heart sank with disappointment ---They looked terrible, wilted, beat up, and sparse. I mean terrible. No joke-- Wilting and browned, dead. My brother's easel didn't even make it to the next day to the church service/burial. We could not go into the store because they are "closed for covid" it's Jan 2023.. We called to voice our upset and "Lynn" who told us it was "well worth the price" then put us on hold for 35 min and waiting for us to hang up, never returned. That is how they treat people grieving. Rip them off, send dead flowers and then never return to the customers on "hold". Do yourself a service and don't go here.
