Very happy with Pam's Posies. Sent a birthday bouquet to my mother at her senior living center and she was thrilled. She picked it up from reception at lunch time and shared it on the table with her lunch companions. Three bonus doses of enjoyment for her friends. Online ordering was uncomplicated. Delivery was apparently flawless but a notification to me of safe delivery would have been much appreciated. Otherwise, I highly recommend this business and will be using them again. read more

I used Pam's Posies on the Billow Funeral Homes website. I paid $239 for a premium arrangement for a family funeral. Pictures show what I thought I was getting and what was actually delivered to the funeral. I was embarrassed and devastated. The Funeral Home was very sorry, embarrassed with me, and empathetic, while Pam's Posies did not say they were sorry, blamed "funeral home fees," and referred me to this disclaimer - Substitutions may occur at the discretion of the local florist, including colors and flowers, depending on availability of inventory. If a substitution does occur it will be items of equal or greater value with the freshest flowers available. I wasn't looking for my money back, I was looking for an apology and a promise to do better. read more

I am ordering the flowers from out of town, I'm in Alabama. I asked the flowers to be delivered on Aug 27 as my mother's birthday is the 29th. The flowers arrived on the 20th. I was notified about not having the vase in the picture, no problem. My sister sent me these pictures. Little disappointed there was no ribbon, I guess that is extra. I live in Charlotte and called Pam's Posies to have a bridal bouquet made two days before my friend's wedding. I explained that I wanted something unique with corals/pinks - and that I love peonies (which were out of season, but she found the perfect alternative with beautiful English garden roses). Pam's Posies is always dependable to get the job done. I like sending bouquets to my mom, step mom, grandma, etc. in the Akron area. I live out of town so ordering is easy as 1-2-3. I trust the florist to make a gorgeous arrangement and usually just give general instructions. My information is saved in their computer, so it is easy to repeat orders to send to people who I send flowers to often. One time, I sent my mom flowers for her birthday and Pam's delivered them a day early. I called and was pretty upset (it was a big birthday), so they sent her ANOTHER bouquet the next day, free of charge to me. I really appreciated this customer service. I always get nervous with unknown florists, since the flowers they send are representing me. I chose the mid range size of an arrangement, ordered it a week ahead, and hoped it would be beautiful. When I went to the memorial service and saw the arrangement, I was blown away! It was large, full and fresh. The colors were beautiful together and I was so proud of it. I placed the order 3 days in advance, for delivery on Saturday morning, and received an order confirmation email as well as a very prompt delivery confirmation email that allayed my worries of being a neglectful daughter. And all this from several states away! Never had to speak with a customer service representative, and from the pictures my dad sent me, the bouquet looked fresh, well-arranged, and as-advertised. My sister and I grew up less than a mile from this darling shop...which was not there in the early '50's. Our mom's birthday and Mother's Day were the May 12th weekend and we decided to fly from Los Angeles and Phoenix to visit our old farm and creek. Mom was a fabulous influence on us and a love of Nature led the list. A friend found Pam's Posies for us and I called ahead to order two yellow roses - mom's favorite, and we were taking them to the creek to float the petals down the rippling waters. When we arrived at Pam's, the very kind manager offered to take the petals off for us and put them in a little bag to carry over the fields to the creek. The shop is absolutely darling, filled with amazing arrangements...I've never seen anything like this in Los Angeles!! Asked for a white condolence bouquet to be delivered with NO CARNATIONS. I got a multi colored carnation filled mess that the people whom the bouquet was intended for had to pick up themselves after the funeral. I recently ordered a flower arrangement from Pam's Posies for my parent's 60th Anniversary. I placed the order in person and gave detailed instructions regarding what I wanted. When I showed up to pick up the bouquet, I was very disappointed!!! They forgot to put the glass beads in the bottom of the vase, the arrangement of the flowers was off balance (lacked professional finesse) and they supplemented the flowers with cheap pink carnations (which I never ordered)!!! Later I had to adjust the bouquet myself to make it look better. The person behind the counter made some adjustments but didn't seem that concerned about their mistakes or mediocre work. I was disapppointed and upset with the service I received. I will not order from this florist again. read more

My husband placed an order for my birthday (4 days before Valentine's day, not a good time to be ordering birthday flowers!) The order was very detailed: 2 dozen roses: 6 white, 6 pink, 6 yellow, and 6 red. Also, to be placed in a box, not vase, because I like to divide them among my own vases. What was delivered was: 6 yellow, 6 white, and 6 pink roses in a glass vase. My husband called to complain and they offered to bring out the missing 6 red roses. He told them to forget that and just credit his account with the price difference. That did not occur. Also, the roses started to droop and wilt before they had opened completely. We arrived in town for my sister's memorial service and we searched Yelp for a reputable florist in the West Akron/Fairlawn area. We chose Pam's Posies in Fairlawn because of the great reviews. We walked in on a Monday morning as soon as they opened and inquired about a suitable floral arrangement for the service, which was that morning. Nora was most helpful and very kind and considerate. We asked for a special arrangement and provided her with our price range. We waited and looked around while another person put the arrangement together for us. We were extremely happy with the floral arrangement that Pam's Posies was able to put together so quickly. In addition, we were pleasantly surprised that this arrangement cost less than we had been quoted - thinking it would come in at, or near, the top of our price range.
