Endodontic Associates got me in the very next morning! Dr. DeCarolis answered all of my questions and got right to work, numbing me up multiple times as the event progressed. I cried almost the whole time, not from pain but nervousness and he was unphased, kindly wiping my tears occasionally with the bib. He checked in with me frequently and narrated what he was seeing and doing. I was in and out of the office in less than an hour. I called to make an appointment as a new patient and new referral from my current dentist. She was very frazzled on the phone responding very rudely when I was giving her my information. I felt like a huge inconvenience to her the whole conversation.They have a no scent/fragrance policy and she was basically practically yelling at me saying that you must follow these instructions because everybody keeps not following them .And then she told me that they do their own x-rays there.She stated that if I had any x-rays previously done that they wouldn't accept them because they will only take their own .And I told her I just had X-rays done a week ago and they were high-quality 3-D x-rays mind you. She said no that if the dentist needs a particular picture of a certain area, then he would have to take them .I then asked her if he will need to take further x-rays, will I be able to decline ?and she said no. Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Dietz today…read more The first impression of his office is a great one. His staff are extremely friendly, and available to you are Coffee, Tea, and Water. The office itself is extremely sharp, modern, and clean. Each room has it's own flat screen which doubles as a computer monitor. The chairs are some of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a Dentist's office, and also have a massage function. Dr. Dietz himself was highly professional, friendly, kind, and compassionate. His bedside manner was phenomenal, and he was very patient. Dr. Dietz uses a microscope that I have never seen used before during the surgery, that allows him to zoom in much further. The procedure itself was uncomfortable at times(as Root Canals are), but all in all I feel he did a very good job, certainly better than my previous Root Canal(done by a different Dentist). He was kind enough to call and check on me after hours, which I really appreciated. He squeezed me in as well, on a day he was booked. He obviously cares very highly about his patients. All in all a wonderful experience. I recommend him highly, if you are ever in need of the much dreaded Root Canal!

Dr. McInerney specializes in root canals and things that might be more challenging for regular dentists. He is extremely knowledgeable and is also very personable which helps alleviate any case of nerves that a patient might have. We do not see him regularly but when we need to see him, we have always been happy with the outcomes. The staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly in getting you checked in.They have a neat and comfortable waiting area that accommodates about a dozen people and also a Keurig coffee maker that makes good coffee as well as provides entertainment when someone who is not familiar with it tries to make a cup of coffee.

After working with the same dentist for the past 17 years, I was pretty nervous to allow someone else to work on my teeth. I was incredibly impressed with the promptness - along with the entire experience. I experienced minimal pain and wonderful quality care. My appt with the Endodonist was for 11:30 am. I was to see Dr Duhaine. I arrived and was informed I was late, that my appt was for 11:00 am, even though I gave them the referral that clearly showed an "11:30 w/wait" appt time. My dentist explained to me that I may have to wait. I arrived, taking in some work and stating very clearly I was fine with the wait. Once I was taken back, it became clear, by the docs assistants comments, that I may not be getting a root canal BEFORE the doctor even looked at me. Sure enough, once the doctor came in and he did a few cold test (even though I had excruciating pain on the tooth when I tried to eat or drink something...and a constant dull pain for days) that he really didn't want to do it that day. Everything from your crown (a 5 year+ old crown) is high....that may be the problem. I asked, respectfully, would I not have had problems before if that was the case. His immediate response to ONE question was "well, if you are going to "insist" I do a root canal." He went further to say if "my expectations were that he could start and finish it that my expectations were incorrect." Huh? I left. On a good note, I had a return call from a very understanding person at the head of the organization. I would not hesitate to try another one of their offices. I did get a call from the doctor as well. In his apology he stated "he understood that I was unhappy with the wait". Not true at all. I insisted while in the office I had NO problem with the wait.

We have had referrals from our dentist to another dentist for root canals and, in our case, we have usually been referred to someone at Root Canal Specialists PC, located on Telegraph Road just north of 13 Mile Road. Our experiences have been positive so far and we have found that the dentist we have used here, Dr. McInerney, and the office staff and dental assistants to be friendly and professional. They have a comfortable waiting area with coffee and tea (Keurig with a number of choices to pick fromas well as a TV to distract you from the actual reason you have come in there.
