This place is a Polished Turd at best! Don't be fooled by the new building and offer to watch your pup on dog cameras! I took my pup in for an overnight and we were supposed to get a login for cameras to see our pup play, took them a couple hours, finally got it but only to find our pup was limping (he was not at all upon drop off) so that was shady, then nobody called to tell me he was hurt, when I picked up he was so scared and anxious and shaking, he has been boarded before and NEVER had this scared reaction. The place was filthy! they don't really play with your pup and these "deluxe" rooms are crap, they wouldn't show what they actually are in which is just a cage/kennel. I was also double charged and the Manager, Kylie said I would be credited back in 10-days, however, come to find out I was never credited back and she couldn't be specific on when refund was made or when I would receive it, not a safe place and definitely not worth the double charge and horrible customer service. Was told by dig dog staff that she would be always watched and kept apart from males . ended up getting pregnant by three different dogs in one litter . We are often in Central Oregon as my mom has a second home in Sunriver. Although Central Oregon is a mecca for dog fun with so many outdoor activities, it's nice to have a place like Dig available for our dog to play for hours while we do dog-unfriendly activities (particularly in the winter!), like go to the movies, restaurants, trampoline parks, etc. Dig appears to have opened in March of 2019 and it is a beautiful modern and large facility. Pros: Spacious, clean, has both indoor/outdoor areas for dogs to roam freely, also big/small dog areas if there is a need to separate, friendly staff, video streaming to check in on how your pup is doing, half or full daycare options, what appears to be nice overnight accommodations (we did not use this service though), easy registration and reservation process. More specifically, since we are not local to the area, it was very seamless to have our dog registered and cleared to play in their system. They just needed current vaccination records. Cons: The video streaming is not seamless. You have to get an invitation from the business, download an app (the web version would not work for me), register yourself...overall it was a bit of a pain but once I was able to get it going, it worked all right. I also mentioned that registering my pup was seamless and easy as many other places require a temperament evaluation before accepting your dog. This was not part of their process...which, from a visitor needing daycare somewhat immediately, this was appreciated, but perhaps it would be a wise move for them to consider as some dogs are just not great at places like these and if someone dumps and runs like we did...well... They did introduce my dog slowly-ish to the pack...starting her in an area of smaller dogs before having her join the larger pups (she's 40lb shepherd mix). All in all, she seemed to have a good time. We've used them a few times now and we love it! Glad to have that option when we're in town. Not too far off the highway, easy parking. read more

This was our 7 month old puppy's first overnight experience so we were a bit anxious. Being able to watch him on the cameras and see the staff keeping everything very clean and having a watchful eye on the dogs made us feel so comfortable with our choice. He was taken back to his private room for meals and naps so he didn't overexert himself. We will likely bring him here for day care along with the hotel since it seems he has made many new pup friends at Dig. read more

This is a very cool doggie daycare. I love the design and vibe they've created and all the options for when your dog needs a getaway. Do NOT recommend. It is my opinion and suspicion that my dog was impregnated by multiple dogs while at this facility. Our dogs were boarded here for 2 full months--the owner Kylie sent me a text telling me both my puppies went into heat (see text screen shot below). We requested they be kept away from any intact males and were assured this would be the case. Now if you know anything about a dogs heat cycle you know it's 21 days--first week they bleed, 2nd week they can be bred, 3rd week they bleed again and CAN get pregnant on the last day of the heat cycle. Also, a dog is pregnant for 58-68 days (see screen shot). Our dogs were boarded from August 7th-October 5th. One of our dogs had a litter of TEN puppies on December 6th. My math might be rusty, but since dogs only go into heat maybe once every 6 months, and from October 5th-December 6th is EXACTLY 63 days, it would seem as though my dog was bred while boarded. I called and spoke to the manager Stephanie--atrocious person to deal with when you have an issue--very defensive and all but told me to fuck off when I asked for a list of breeds of all intact males on the premises when my girls were in heat and that any further contact will be with their attorney. The reason I asked for a list was because my dog should have had maybe 5-6 puppies, she had 10 (one died at birth), and it looks like 3 different breeds--I was not aware that a dog could be bred multiple times by different males and carry to term multiple litters at the same time, but was advised this by our vet when she looked at them. We received a letter from their attorney advising "there is no way your dog became pregnant in this facility because of...". It was cute too, she stated dogs are only pregnant for 53 days (which even a quick google search will tell you otherwise lady), and cited this as the primary reason my dog could not have been bred while boarded--failing to explain how my dog had a heat cycle longer than 21 days or 2 heat cycles so close together (text was sent on September 3rd advising one was in heat, and the other followed shortly after. It is my suspicion that they haven't been forthcoming with the info I requested possibly because they had papered purebreds there that could have bred my dogs, their owners would no longer be able to sire and paper purebreds after breeding with my mutt. They also sent me a copy of the contract as a rebuttal, nowhere in the contract does it specifically address this type of situation, so that was somewhat humorous. It seems as though they just want us to be hushed into silence, otherwise why have your attorney contact us? And 24/7 cameras my ass--they never provided us access that they advertised on their website saying we would have access,, and have yet to see the footage proving my dog was not impregnated while in their care. In conclusion, if you had your intact purebred males at this facility between September 4th-October 5th, please leave a comment--would love to do a DNA test. read more

Visiting Bend and needed a place for our dog Skittles to spend a few hours. The facility was immaculate and we could see several dogs in the play area happily playing. The staff was very tuned into how our dog reacted, allowing her to play with the other dogs, but also giving her access a private area when she tired and wanted to rest. The staff was kind and focused. We would not hesitate to return with our canine family. read more
