The only thing on the photos is that they cannot accommodate oversized printed photos. I had them transfer 10 VHSC tapes to digital formats. They were transferred onto a thumb drive, which you are charged for. I spent over $200, but I love the fact that I was able to upload my footage to my YouTube channel.

I live close to Bernstein's Gallery so I decided to go check it out one day. There was a sign outside the door that stated framing started at $19.99. However, this $19.99 framing was the cheapest looking gold frame - NOT what I wanted at all. The employee who helped me was very nice and took time with me to pick out several framing/matting options. After we got done with all the options, the frame/matt that I picked out was close to $200.00. I'm not complaining about the pricing because I know that framing is usually expensive and that you only get your college degree framed once. He was kind enough to write down all the names and colors so that I could discuss the options with my mom and we could make a decision together. She ended up going somewhere else to get the degree framed, but I'm still appreciative for the time the employee took out of his day to help me make a decision. This store also has art supplies, but honestly I didn't pay much attention to that section of the store.

They made old family pictures into beautiful works of art. The store was filled with frame choices. Knowledgeable employees would work with you on the best choices for frames & mats. The finished products were always gorgeous. It was sad when they disappeared from the Lynnhaven area location, I assumed the store had closed. So no framing for me has been done in the years since. Upon locating the store in Lynnhaven Convenience Center, I was anxious to see if the framing stock would be as extensive. It turned out to be more so. And there was a larger supply of other decorative accents & framed prints available for purchase. One of my theater memories that they had framed decades ago had been knocked off the wall & the glass had been broken. It was from a production my son had been featured in with Virginia Stage Company about 30 years ago. I had continued to postpone getting the glass replaced since I had not developed trust in another store. How excited I was to take it into Frame 'N' Art for repair. I had hoped to pick it up today but learned upon arrival that they close on Monday. The location of the shopping center is the north side of Virginia Beach Boulevard just west of its intersection with Lynnhaven Parkway. But there it was - Sunglass Shack, open despite the discouraging weather conditions. The name sounds like a total rip from the more omnipotent Sunglass Hut, but the store setup was anything but. I rate this place high on the cleanliness scale, and the displays showcased products well. Their selection was everything you might expect from a decent sunglass store. Specifically, they sell Ray Ban, Maui Jim, Costa, Coach, Versace, Burberry, DKNY, and my new favorite - Oakley. But honestly I wasn't looking. I just went in because my friend wanted to go. As I scanned the displays, it just so happened that I came across a pair that, once on, I couldn't resist. Oakley. Fuel Cell. Matte black with ruby "iridium" lenses. From the front the lenses are completely red, but when you look through them, everything is a tint of blue. I didn't like the blue as I tend to appreciate the warmer sunglass tints, but seldom do I find a pair of sunglasses that I satisfactorily believe suits my face. My first mistake was going in. My second was trying on a pair. I suppose I could have easily walked out that store and said no. My friend was about to do just that anyway, but what got me most was how the salesperson - who turned out to be the manager - approached us with such professionalism, attentiveness, and knowledge of the brand at hand. It brought so much credibility to the store, which frankly needs it because I never heard of it and their website uses the generic ".net" domain. That nudge was all I needed to decide I wanted to drop a good $108 plus tax today. Of course the 10% military discount was nice, too, but I have to give credit where credit is due. Lowest price guarantee when matched with official vendor websites. I couldn't think of a good way to incorporate that info into the review, but there you have it!
