Having been a national Customer Service trainer, I would give FedEx a minus 10 Rating! If I have to mail anything, I will not use FedEX and I will certainly ask those business from where I am expecting deliveries to change to a more dependable delivery service! The young woman i had wait on me was immediately there to assist, did all the paperwork and labeling for me and had me in and out in a few minutes. It really wasn't anymore than the post office. I'll be honest the UPS Store is right on my way to work and I am prone to go there to ship stuff off. But I now know Fed Ex is also a worthy shipper of stuff from the office.

My car broke down on the 10 interstate so I had to tow it to Lordsburg, NM and get a motel room. I ordered the part (a water pump) online from Vescovo Toyota (which is now Viva Toyota). None of that matters anyway because the subject of the matter is UPS. I ordered the part on a Monday morning (early). They gave me a deadline of 7pm Friday, but on that particular morning I called Vescovo Toyota before they shipped out the part so I could add overnight express delivery, The guy at the parts department at Vescovo told me that that won't be necessary as we were only 120 miles away, so the part would be here the next day. Every day that it didn't arrive was costing me another $100 in motel room expenses Remember, the part was an hour and a half to two hours away. That was Monday. Tuesday came and went. Wednesday came and went. Thursday came and went. When the deadline of 7pm on Friday came and went, I just could not believe it. I couldn't even fathom how incompetent that was -you would have to TRY to not get something (that is only 120 miles away) there in 2 days, let alone 5. So, after the deadline, I called UPS and they are "incommunicado" with their drivers. ???????????? I couldn't afford another $100 for the hotel room so since it was cold that night, I risked driving the car and made it to El Paso where I got the part somewhere else and installed it in their parking lot. Halfway to El Paso, UPS had the nerve to call me and tell me the part was just delivered to the Motel 6 that I had waited for 5 days at (paying $100 a night.) for a part that was less than 2 hours drive away. But I am gonna shop around for a better printing place.

I have never been there before and I walked in and found it to be a very clean establishment and I walked up to the customer service section and was asked if I was here to pick up an order and I said no I just needed some paperwork and the lady said it's over there in that other section. I wasn't exactly sure which document I needed and so I went back to her. I said can you help me out and she goes just look at whatever the label says on the copy you have and go look for that name. I must say this is hands-down one of the most unprofessional businesses that have ever been to. it's kind of strange because everybody's striving for business and everybody complains when local businesses aren't getting enough business to stay up and running, but I have to admit the way I was treated was absolutely horrible. I believe this is most likely against corporate policy. It should be inclusive to people who also suffer from disabilities like migraines, allergies, and asthma. I did send an email, but the plug in is still there. I'm not trying to walk into a perfume shop, I'm just trying to get my package delivered. Response: I appreciate it, but you should also look at it that if you have an employee that has disabilities like this which are a protected class under the ADA. You are potentially setting up UPS to get sued if you do not accommodate. That's why most corporations have these policies for a reason. I would reach out to your corporate HR to confirm.
