Dr Dilena is the best OBGYN you could have. I highly recommend him for anyone. Very knowledgeable about menopause and treatments.

After experiencing a retained miscarriage, she went to see Dr Chellappan and was given medication that did not work. She returned the next Monday and a DNC was scheduled on Thursday. On Wednesday, she sought emergency medical care when she developed signs of sepsis. Instead of receiving support from her OB-GYN, she was "fired" as a patient for seeking urgent, necessary care at the emergency room. Dr Chellappan would not do a follow up visit for her. It is unacceptable for a doctor to abandon a patient in such a vulnerable state. Patient care should be the top priority, especially in situations where life-threatening complications arise. This decision was not only cruel but also a violation of the basic principles of medical ethics. Patients deserve compassion, continuity of care, and respect--not punitive actions for making responsible healthcare decisions. I strongly advise anyone considering Dr. Chellappan to look elsewhere for a provider who genuinely cares about their patients' well-being. No one should have to fear losing their doctor for prioritizing their health and safety.

She is easy going, caring and very encouraging. I never feel rushed when meeting with her which I can appreciate. Dr. Northrop not only exceeded my expectations during pregnancy but also was great at lifting me up during some of the hard times. There are 2 other doctors at WCA, Dr. Pearce and Dr. Bhakta. Both of them are great so if your original doctor is unavailable no worries. Dr. Bhakta recently joined WCA and was the one who actually delivered my little one. I met her a couple weeks before and honestly it felt like she was my doctor the entire 9 months. Thanks to her for an incredible birth experience! Overall I would recommend WCA to anyone. This office is the exception to the status quo and I'm thankful for them being apart of my journey.

I decided to cancel and see another doctor closer to where I reside in Dallas. I don't feel appreciated or valued. The nurse Bobbie never pronounces my name correctly even after all of these years. And on numerous occasions she has sent me incorrect prescriptions and to the wrong location. I will not return. And I will try to convince my mom to leave as well.

Despite this, she brushed off my concerns and pushed birth control anyway, offering no real explanation, alternatives, or discussion- it felt like it was prescribed simply because of my age. I also never received my lab results and had to call weeks later to find out I had a yeast infection. I was told I didn't need treatment if I "felt fine," yet no one had informed me what symptoms to look for. When I asked questions, I felt talked down to instead of helped. Overall, I felt dismissed, uninformed, and unheard. I would not return to Dr. Abaigeal Thompson or recommend her to anyone looking for a provider unless you want someone who shoves birth control down your throat. Never ended up taking the many prescriptions- thank goodness!

I've had some mental health issues for as long as I can remember, and during my last pregnancy I struggled with it a lot. Working with Dr. Thompson was completely different. She took my mental health into serious consideration and made sure I knew how important it was for me to take care of that as well as my physical health. She is also the reason why I started seeing a therapist; as she heavily recommended it at the beginning of the pregnancy and that on top of my medicine management made the whole experience so much healthier mentally than my first pregnancy. I absolutely love Dr. Thompson and I'm excited to have her as my OB/GYN for years to come! Also, her nurse was incredible as well! Deliana (not sure how to spell her name, hopefully I got that right! Haha) also got back to me quickly about any questions (even stupid pregnant ones) I had.

For parking you can use the parking garage on site, you have to enter the garage off the - street. Its free to park just follow the signs. Once you park make your way to the elevator and go to the 5 floor where the office is located. When you get there turn left and you will find the office around the corner. Similar decoration style as he south office, pretty standard. Front desk staff was nice and were able to answer my questions. Once the called me they took my height and weight and took me to the patient room. Similar to the other location, they got a patient bed, a sink , a cabinet with all their tools etc. There is a half way and a chair on the other side of the room for some privacy when you change. There is a TV in the room showing a power point of all the doctors in office along with a bio of them. The decoration inside the office is minimum. I recently started going here for my yearly exams and so far I like it. I feel like this provider has more time for me when I visit and answers all my questions. I will continue to go here for my wellness exams.

I was very nervous because I am 43 and started experiencing severe perimenopause symptoms at 40. I was gaslit by several doctors before I began educating myself on perimenopause symptoms and hormone replacement therapy. The first OBGYN I came across was Dr. Marie Haver, however, she is not the only OB that specializes in perimenopause that I have learned from. Through Dr. Haver's social media presence, I finally felt validated. Dr. Carter informed me that her first child was delivered by Dr. Haver and had mostly positive things to say about her. Today, I saw Dr. Carter and she was immediately annoyed, sighed heavily and rolled her eyes when I began telling her that I was on hormones. She asked who gave them to me with a rude and suspicious tone. I told her that it was Evernow at first and currently, my psychiatrist fills them because she is also a hormone specialist. She laughed and said "that's cute". She was very dismissive and talked to me like I was stupid. I was actually there to hopefully have Dr. Carter be the one to prescribe my HRT because I know that even if my psychiatrist specializes in HRT, she is still not an OB. Unfortunately, she was so rude, I didn't get the opportunity to tell her that right away. She also didn't seem to want to answer many questions about perimenopause or HRT and told me at least twice to schedule a different appointment to discuss that. I understand that with the recent flood of information about HRT and perimenopause, Dr. Carter may be frustrated by patients coming in to see her who don't know what they are talking about or who are prescribed the wrong doses of hormones. My opinion is, if Dr. Carter is tired or annoyed of/with women coming in talking about hormones and seeking help, she shouldn't be an OB. Women should not be met with anything but kindness and understanding whether they are on the wrong amount of HRT or not. I'm very disappointed and will not be scheduling another appointment to talk about perimenopause/HRT.
