It turns out that Lilly, the NP I was seeing, has left the office and my stuff just completely fell through the cracks. My scripts have now been sent in, finally. With that being said, I know things can be busy or staffed and be shorthanded, but I'm not sure if that was the case. From the moment I walked in for my 1st appointment I felt very unwelcome! The receptionist barely acknowledged me was short unfriendly and almost seemed just irritated to be there. I have excellent insurance and I'm ver knowledgeable with insurance. She just told me my copay was $99 with no explanation, to me that was more than normal but I paid and will confirm with my ins EOB the costs. One of the responsibilities of a receptionist or front office is to set a 1st impression of a practice and this was a big failure on her part. The nurse that took my vitals was pleasant, the PA was great, knowledgeable and explained everything well. The second nurse that took my blood was outgoing and friendly, this gave me hope about my future appointments. I scheduled my follow up for a week later to review my results. On my second appointment there was a different receptionist and she was more pleasant. I was brought back quickly and a new nurse came in took my BP and explain another provider was here today than the normal one. She left saying she'd be in shortly. I waited 50 minutes no one ever came check in on me or explain why I was waiting so long! I would have been ok if someone came in, apologized for the wait and gave me an update but that never happened. After a hour of nothing I went to the front office and asked for a copy of my test results and said I've been waiting a hour no one has come in, I'll find another office. I was more shocked by the total lack of professionalism when she never once apologized and just printed my results out and handed them to me. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know. It's a corporate medical office and you would think they'd have better trading in place for their team. This was my worst experience ever and I still don't know what I paid for? Update!!!! As I thought I received my EOB today and they charge my ins more than $800 for a visit with a PA and blood work. Per my EBO I was only to pay $24. I'm not dealing with these people that abuse medical billing codes. I'm filling a complaint wit BCBS. I'll let them deal with their billing department. Always check your benefits and EOB most of these large Corp managed care facilities are run by business people that expect you not to catch their misuse of billing!

A little background I am a late thirties, teacher, African American woman with a history of multiple miscarriages. When I came to Omega, I just wanted answers about why I was having so many losses and what my next steps were. Dr. Pickel and Jill had every test ran on me and gave me recommendations and referrals to specialist. I got pregnant with my first baby and I was able to get an appointment every time (because I was super cautious so I came in for every little thing). I had this same amazing care my second pregnancy as well. Jill and Dr. Pickel were literally my dream team, both pregnancies. I received extra care and attention throughout both pregnancies whether it was blood work, extra monitoring or extra appointments. While they were amazing during my pregnancy, they didn't stop my care after both pregnancies. They are also making sure to check my blood work going forward and make sure I keep up with all of my women things. I have truly been blessed to have Jill and Dr. Pickel as my care team for my babies and going forward. Truly thankful for the attention to detail and care i received while at Omega.

After experiencing a retained miscarriage, she went to see Dr Chellappan and was given medication that did not work. She returned the next Monday and a DNC was scheduled on Thursday. On Wednesday, she sought emergency medical care when she developed signs of sepsis. Instead of receiving support from her OB-GYN, she was "fired" as a patient for seeking urgent, necessary care at the emergency room. Dr Chellappan would not do a follow up visit for her. It is unacceptable for a doctor to abandon a patient in such a vulnerable state. Patient care should be the top priority, especially in situations where life-threatening complications arise. This decision was not only cruel but also a violation of the basic principles of medical ethics. Patients deserve compassion, continuity of care, and respect--not punitive actions for making responsible healthcare decisions. I strongly advise anyone considering Dr. Chellappan to look elsewhere for a provider who genuinely cares about their patients' well-being.
