I recently started seeing a provided at this office. They have 2 locations, one in north copper and…read moreone in south copper. For parking you can use the parking garage on site, you have to enter the garage off the - street. Its free to park just follow the signs. Once you park make your way to the elevator and go to the 5 floor where the office is located. When you get there turn left and you will find the office around the corner. Similar decoration style as he south office, pretty standard. Front desk staff was nice and were able to answer my questions. Once the called me they took my height and weight and took me to the patient room. Similar to the other location, they got a patient bed, a sink , a cabinet with all their tools etc. There is a half way and a chair on the other side of the room for some privacy when you change. There is a TV in the room showing a power point of all the doctors in office along with a bio of them. The decoration inside the office is minimum. I recently started going here for my yearly exams and so far I like it. I feel like this provider has more time for me when I visit and answers all my questions. I will continue to go here for my wellness exams.

I was very nervous because I am 43 and started experiencing severe perimenopause symptoms at 40. I was gaslit by several doctors before I began educating myself on perimenopause symptoms and hormone replacement therapy. The first OBGYN I came across was Dr. Marie Haver, however, she is not the only OB that specializes in perimenopause that I have learned from. Through Dr. Haver's social media presence, I finally felt validated. Dr. Carter informed me that her first child was delivered by Dr. Haver and had mostly positive things to say about her. Today, I saw Dr. Carter and she was immediately annoyed, sighed heavily and rolled her eyes when I began telling her that I was on hormones. She asked who gave them to me with a rude and suspicious tone. I told her that it was Evernow at first and currently, my psychiatrist fills them because she is also a hormone specialist. She laughed and said "that's cute". She was very dismissive and talked to me like I was stupid. I was actually there to hopefully have Dr. Carter be the one to prescribe my HRT because I know that even if my psychiatrist specializes in HRT, she is still not an OB. Unfortunately, she was so rude, I didn't get the opportunity to tell her that right away. She also didn't seem to want to answer many questions about perimenopause or HRT and told me at least twice to schedule a different appointment to discuss that. I understand that with the recent flood of information about HRT and perimenopause, Dr. Carter may be frustrated by patients coming in to see her who don't know what they are talking about or who are prescribed the wrong doses of hormones. My opinion is, if Dr. Carter is tired or annoyed of/with women coming in talking about hormones and seeking help, she shouldn't be an OB. Women should not be met with anything but kindness and understanding whether they are on the wrong amount of HRT or not. I'm very disappointed and will not be scheduling another appointment to talk about perimenopause/HRT.

She is an angel!! Warning::: I had seen Dr. John Pickel once for a LEEP procedure. Not only was his bedside manner terrible. He was very robotic, cold and didn't seem to care about how difficult this process was for me. For him it was just another day at the office. NOT to mention he didn't fully numb me, so there was a portion of the procedure that I was quite literally feeling EVERYTHING! It was excruciating!!! I was in so much pain I started coming off the table! He had a "tough it out" attitude about it! Instead of stopping and numbing me correctly!!! Horrible experience!

To start, getting an appointment was frustrating to say the least. But once I arrived, I asked her to do a full work up for me so that everything was up to date on my file. At the first appointment, I did not get to meet her assistant Brianna because rest assured if I had, I would have never come back. Her assistant Brianna was extremely rude and unprofessional and does not need to be working there. Brianna was however the one to call me with my results. She was not pleasant and initially only gave me one result before trying to hurry off the phone with me. I stopped her and asked for the other results and she stated for me to hold on (with a sigh) because she had to pull up my file. Why would you call a patient without their information in front of you?! She then very bluntly gave me what was bad news with no compassion or elaboration. Shocked and confused I said "I don't even know what to ask right now, but I have so many questions" and she said "what do you want to know?" I had to pull, what I assume is basic, information out of her just to get somewhat of a plan of action. I understand that working in the medical field, they see so many things that it doesn't phase them, but as a patient, we are not used to hearing it. A couple of weeks later, I called to schedule a follow up (another scheduling nightmare). I arrived to the appointment, and was called back. The girl who called me back never introduced herself (but turned out to be Brianna) and just started asking questions. I finally was able to see the doctor and was told that it was too soon to even receive an update - so essentially I just wasted $70 on a co-pay. But I did express my feelings about how I was handled and that I didn't want Brianna to assist with me anymore and she said that I would be more happy going to the other location which made it seem like that was the way around Brianna (not true...she goes to both locations with her). But I was told to come back again in a few weeks to follow up. At the next appointment, Dr. Hussain came in and said that she was confused by my initial results because my urine sample was contradicting. I NEVER gave them a urine sample! I immediately knew something was wrong and questioned if those results were even mine. I made the decision to find another doctor and all of those same tests came back negative. Save yourself from the headache, frustration, and questioning yourself and do not go to this Ob-gyn office with Dr. Hussain and her assistant Brianna.

I just have to say that the only other review on here (1 star) has to be false. I absolutely love this doctor and her entire staff. I have been going for about two and a half years. Dr. Udell is funny, quirky and straight to the point (maybe why that person felt "rushed"). She ALWAYS asks if I have any questions after every appointment. When I switched from the depo shot to birth control pills, she gave me five months worth of samples to help me out because she knew that I didn't have insurance at the time. My husband loved her as well! He has nothing but good things to say as well! The nurse is wonderful! She is so sweet and easy to talk to. Andrea (at the front desk) is a total sweet heart and really helped me out once when I messed up. The ultrasound guy is a hoot and we bonded over a mutual adoration of the Arkansas Razorbacks! The staff always remembers me which is really great! When I had my daughter, Dr. Udell brought me cupcakes (a package of four that I could share with my family!). It was a great experience with having my second child (much better than my first with a different doctor) and I will continue using her! I recommended Dr. Udell to a friend who messaged me and thanked me and told me how much she liked her! As for the previous review of Dr. Udell smelling like cigarette smoke, I have never been able to smell anything like that while around her. If I could give her more stars I would! The whole office is great!

I chose her based on the reviews, but my experience was completely different. I later learned she had complaints filed with the Texas Medical Board.
