I got a Dillard gift card for Christmas and I finally decided to use it. I don't do as much shopping in person anymore so it had been a while since I'd been to the mall. I have been needing some new cologne for a while so I stopped by Dillards. I went to the mens department and I was immediately greeted by the staff. They helped me find the Prada Oceans scent and I ended up making a purchase. Everyone there was so helpful. read more

Dillard's is cool, they carry a lot of high-end name brands that can be quite expensive, but you can usually find some good deals if you look hard enough. My biggest problem with this place is the men's changing rooms. Pretty much a rats nest. There's like 3 or 4 rooms, but for some odd reason, they only ever unlock one, and it's usually trashed. The store may be "high-end", but I've seen trashy motels with better upkeep than those changing rooms. read more

Most items run small but that wasn't my issue. I was there with a friend today to do some shopping. My friend and I walk over to a section that's near a fitting room and a check out, and an employee asks if we need to try on what we had. We said no, we're still looking at some stuff. She said "ok?" like it was irrelevant and just stared at us. She eventually pointed to the fitting room near us and said we could try stuff on. We said ok and just continued looking. Eventually we went to try stuff on and nothing fit so we left the stuff that didn't fit on the rack and looked for better sizes. I immediately grabbed a better size and the same employee asked if we left the other stuff in there. We said yes and she went to check. When she came out she said I can take you over there when we were clearly still looking and still had to try stuff on again. It seemed like she thought we were trying to steal even though we gave no reason for her to think that. We ended up just leaving without buying anything, because of her and the first point I made, everything runs small and they didn't have my size. read more

I like Dillard's because it's a classy store. Seems to be clean particularly the hidden areas such as the dressing rooms and bathroom areas. What I don't like are the high prices. You literally have to shop a sale to get a decent deal. Also, I don't like their solid 30-day return policy. From what I understand they will give store credit after 30-days with a receipt. It can be tough if you buy an item early as a present (Black Friday) or if you are unable to return it within the 30 day period. If you want a high priced men's jacket, this is the place to go. It's almost like a taylor's shop. I was unable to find a casual navy jacket with medal buttons that would go with kaki pants. (Something like high school football players wear). Therefore, I went to Macy's in the same mall and found a Tommy Hilfiger jacket that was 65% polyester and 35% wool. So it won't wrinkle like the cotton jackets they sell today. Macy's regular price was $299 and it was on sale during the Labor Day weekend for $99. I was surprised Dillard's could not offer me anything beside a Hart Shaffner Marx costing a regular price of $399. I was able to pickup some Polo pants and a Polo pull over for $130. The shirt was reasonable at $39 (on sale) but the pants were full price. They seldom discount Polo. The lady in the men's department who has worked there for over 12 years is super friendly and knows her products. Dillard's was the busiest store in the mall so they must be doing something right. read more

This Dillard's has a nice and large selection of high quality items. They have an excellent high end Cosmetics Department.That is mainly what I come here for especially the Estee Lauder counter! Everyone I've encountered has been extremely helpful. read more

I actually worked at this Dillard's five years ago and returned just a couple weeks ago while visiting friends and family in Tallahassee. I think time has stopped at this store.... I even saw some sales associates that I had worked with way back then. Though I may not have enjoyed working here, I must admit this is a pretty nice department store. It has a good selection of higher-end items for the Tallahassee area such as cosmetics, handbags, shoes, and women's apparel. read more

Mostly nice merchandise, nicely display, priced normally. But the rugs and changing rooms are a pig sty. Dirt and spots and crap everywhere. The place is a dump. Reminds me of a poorly kept Winn-Dixie or Walmart. read more

I love this Dillards! If you are looking for a nice dress for a special occasion I highly recommend this Dillards. They have a great selection and wide variety of dresses. Now I didn't really pay attention to the other areas of the store but the dress section alone derserves 5 stars! And the prices are very reasonable. They always have great sales so I would never purchase anything for the regular price. read more

My favorite sales girl has been replaced by some strange new girl at Estee Lauder When i asked where Hailey was, the new girl replied "Estee and Dillard's decided i was a better fit". I let her do my makeup and there is no doubt that they made a horrible decision. It's like she was reading from a book. After Hailey, it felt so unnatural. Yes, I want to learn, but i want good conversation. Will order online now. I called later to talk to James about it. He encouraged me to give the new girl another chance. I just don't feel that accepting Jesus Christ into my heart had anything to do with my skin care and makeup. I wish i had Hailey's number. I thought i had found a good makeup lady that i could trust.
