Boat dealers required us to leave our boat & cover for 4-6 weeks to do the alteration - during the summer! Not an option for us. But we needed the alteration done, so we searched for traditional tailors. Awada was upfront that they hadn't worked on a boat cover before, but took it on. The final alteration addressed the problem and met our expectations. Not a perfect fit, but that'd be impossible without having the boat to fit it. They were very speedy, took only 4 days from drop off to pick up.

Lo and behold they do not sell pajamas for women (which I am) in the store except at Christmas. They do have some for men! Also I think we all know the clothes are not top of the line but are great for a season or two. One would expect the prices to reflect that. However I found things to be quite expensive. They had few sales and even at that I still found things to be too expensive. However the staff as usual-very pleasant and helpful.

Admittedly in the past, I have bought my sons cloths 2nd hand for the most part. They grow fast, he grew 8 inches last yr. He is at the age now where it is impossible to find pants that haven't been violated. Boys aren't nice to their cloths. Then there is the fact my son is skinny... Like really skinny. If you also have a skinny son this is the place for you. My son is in high school and still wears pants with the tabs on the inside. Abercrombie has super skinny pants and they fit him PERFECTLY! They look like normal pants on him not skinny jeans, he doesn't have to wear a belt and the jeans are stretchy and oh so soft! I bought 3 pairs of chinos and a pair of jeans for about $96 (wait for a half off sale) . Definitely not 2nd hand prices but so worth it to have cloths that fit him properly and in the scheme of things not a bad price. So if you have skinny kids, take that first step into the store; don't be scared once you get past the cloud of Calvin Klein, through the half naked teenage window models and moody associates it'll be worth it.
