My mom has been ordering delivery from Walmart for the past year and 1/2. When it comes with everything ordered, it's great and convenient! When it doesn't, it's a headache. Tonight was one of those headache nights... We placed an order to arrive between 8-10pm. Normally we sign off on it in person, but I must have overlooked the appropriate box when placing the order. So, a load of groceries were delivered to my mom's front porch- some that she'd ordered, some orders that were omitted, and a lot of things she hadn't ordered, didn't want, and had no room to store. In contacting Customer Service, at least on the weekend, chat AI was the only option. They were willing to refund items ordered and not received. As for orders not ordered, they were unwilling to pick them up and suggested donating, disposing or using as we saw fit. I'm sure someone else was missing their groceries and I had hoped they could get to the person who'd ordered them but no luck. It was a substantial amount of extra groceries and fortunately our neighbors were willing to happily accept them. However, I can't help but think about how much money is wasted in this fashion. Clearly this was not the first time this situation had been encountered. (e.g. cartons of milk, cartons of yogurt, RedBull, organic carrots, pretzels, ground beef, peppers, potatoes, chocolate bars, and more!). There's definitely a disconnect between who picks/bags groceries and who delivers them. We once had a situation where an ice cream birthday cake was delivered to the stop before ours -resulting in me running out to the store to pick it up. It's a convenient service when it works and unfortunately that's not always the case. Buyer beware! read more

I go to this Walmart only because there's a couple of items I can only get here. The staff not all but most if you ask for help it's like you're bothering them. You get an attitude. Customer service to a lot of these employees is unheard of. Believe me if it wasn't for the fact that their competition doesn't carry these items I wouldn't be going here. read more

First of all, there was barely a self checkout option, so I had to wait in a ridiculously long line just to get a coloring book and some hot fries. Second of all, the service for the self pickup is terrible. I have been waiting in my car for over 20 minutes in this spot for my groceries and nothing. There is only one other person waiting and I made sure to check in after I got the text that confirmed my groceries were ready to be picked up. It would've been faster for me to just go in and buy the rest of the groceries myself. Will not be using the grocery pickup again. read more

This stores workers attemoted to deny a disabled person entry with their service dog for her medical reasons.then a manager decided to yell and make a scene. The customer is young and has POTS which is a fainting disorder. She then began to berrade her asking "how old are you" as in saying "your too old for this why are u acting like a child "telling her to get tf off the floor while she just had a fainting spell and thats ehy she eas sitting on the floor, out of the way of anyone else and was telling her she couldn't sit on the floor, even AFTER being told what the medical condition is. She needs to be fired immediately for violating ADA laws. She also is legally not allowed to ask the persons disability, only able to ask for proof of a service animal. This woman repeatedly told her it was a service dog and the manager said "she's not vested that's not a service dog " which a service dog does not have to be vested legally as long as you have paoerwork proving its a service dog. Not only did she embarrass this poor woman having a fainting episode, she also created a scene with a security guard who was there to remove her from the store til he heard she had a medical condition, and 2 other employees, and then proceeded to tell her to get on a scooter and off the floor yet again,( if she fell from a scooter it would cause way worse injury. )And then assuming the person with her was her mom and told her "get her up off the floor" finally she thought it was appropriate to laugh at this woman as she walked away. As a person with an invisible disability myself at 38 (MS and degenerative disc disease that has caused 8+ herniations in my spine) this exact treatment is why I won't use the scooters because you get judged because you "youre young and look fine" this kind of treatment needs to stop. I had to get a few things today, I had my two boys. my son went to get some bananas when an employee walked up to him and said I'd you're not buying them don't touch them and walked off talking on her phone. I went to follow her because we were purchasing them. Either way employees need to watch themselves. It's not your place, to play mom. She walked off so fast I didn't get her name, I would love to report her because she was out of line. The store manager needs to address this asap. Assist people don't play mom to kids. I called to ask if they had seat cushions in stock. First I was transferred to Garden, after the phone rang with no answer for 2 minutes, I hung up and called back. Then I was directed to customer service where they told me they won't check item stock availability because "if they say they have it and they really don't, that causes issues.". Shouldn't they know what they have in stock? It's not like they don't have a system that can tell them everything they have in the store.. My in-person experiences have been the same quality. Purchased batteries from WalMart+, store delivery. Driver pulled up in front of my building, took a picture from the driveway and said package was delivered 12/4 at 2:09pm. It was never delivered and he drove off, and after filing dispute with credit card, WalMart denied it despite abundance of proof to the non delivered package. WalMarts store driver is on video footage, pulling up in front of building, taking picture, and driving off. He never even got out of his car to deliver the package inside the open building. There is no evidence of the package anywhere in his picture, yet Wally has chosen to deny the dispute saying order was delivered. Have since cancelled my Wally credit card and Wally+ membership, and I will never step foot anywhere near a WalMart again. Have placed many orders over the years I have lived here and I have never had an order stolen as this one was. Buyer Beware they cannot be trusted to support you! read more

Employees are underpaid, downtrodden, and underappreciated, AND IT SHOWS. Lines of customers pile up with no urgency to open up new registers to get them out the door. Cashiers move at snail's pace because there is no incentive to move faster. Associates generally have no idea what's going on and who is supposed to go where. Poor management seeps into the morale of the lowly staff. They look like they'd like to throw themselves off a cliff or drown in the Maumee River. 8/10 times I go to Walmart I want to stick bamboo needles under my fingernails, because even that sounds more pleasurable than experiencing a Toledo Walmart again. Unfortunately, Walmart houses some of the lowest prices in town for everything. As soon as I make a decent salary, I'll never step foot in a Walmart again. read more

This review is specifically for the BAKERY only. Short version: 1. Customer Service could be better. 2. The bakery is limited in the types of cakes they can make (i.e. they only have sheet, 2 tiered cakes or set styles.) 3. They are limited in how they can decorate the cake. They couldn't do the first couple pictures of cakes that I wanted. 4. Reasonable prices but you get what you pay for. Long Version: I had to order a cake for a shower and someone suggested Walmart because they offer round tiered cakes for a reasonable price. I'm not usually a fan of Walmart but we wanted a cake that was to be the centerpiece of a dessert table so the tiered cake seemed like a good fit and the price was cheap compared to other bakeries. (a 2 tier round cake was $48). This location requires a 24-48 hour notice before the event to prepare the cake. This varies from each Walmart location- some required a week. You prepay for the cake after placing the order. After I had placed the order, it turned out that we didn't need that big of a cake so I spoke to the head of the bakery department. I explained that I only wanted a 1 layer round cake instead of a tiered round cake. She said to come in, get a refund for the cake that I purchased and put in another order for a different cake. I went in that day that I had called and the whole ordeal was ridiculous. First I had to wait in line at the customer service desk for the return and of course the line was long and slow moving since there was only 1 person working the return desk. When I finally got to the front, it took forever for someone to get a hold of the bakery to confirm that I was allowed to return the cake. After finally returning the cake, I went to the bakery to reorder the cake that I wanted only to be told by the person helping me that there wasn't enough time to make the cake for my party! I told her that the manager had told me to reorder the cake. After getting that straightened out so that I could get the cake in time for my event, I was told that the bakery doesn't even make 1 layer round cakes at all! Why the heck didn't the head of the bakery tell me that in the first place! I wouldn't have wasted my time returning the cake and coming out to reorder something that they can't even make! I had clearly told her on the phone that's what I wanted so she should have told me at that time! After all that, I ended up reordering the cake I had just returned! In terms of the final product, it didn't turn out how I had asked. I wanted a turquoise border but they did teal instead. Even on their own coloring chart, it didn't match what turquoise was supposed to be. Plus they put on edible sprinkles which I didn't want. They ended up giving me a small discount because the color didn't match. I had picked up the cake on the day of my event and took it directly to the event. When we took the cake out of the box, the one side was lopsided! Luckily, it was just the one side so we were able to hid it in the backside. The cake worked out ok for our shower and I'm guessing the birthday cakes would be ok but I would not recommend their bakery for a wedding reception! read more

However, on my last trip there, the beer section was horrible stocked, with entire sections of brands with empty shelves. I'm not a fan of the atmosphere, or the amount of time it takes to check-out. My son went in to use the men's restroom but it was being occupied by a strange man who kept watching him so he ran out to me, we went into the family one and their was a soiled pamper thrown on the floor and the stench was unbearable! So i took him into the ladies room, every toliet seat in that bathroom had crap smeared all over the seats! A dirty tampon was laying on the floor and the trash cans were over flowing with trash.. Two out of three times that I have attempted to use the grocery delivery service from this location, I did not receive my order on time, or at all. The first time, they never notified me that they were having delays. After several phone calls to the store and Walmart.com customer service, I finally received my order (with perishables) the next day. Today, I should have received an order between 2pm and 3pm. It never arrived. After several calls to the store with no answer, I talked to Walmart.com customer service again. They could not get in touch with anyone at the store either, and had no idea when or if my order would ever arrive. I've spent almost two hours trying to get an answer to a simple question for a service that I paid for. I've decided to give up on Walmart. If they can't answer their phone, update me on delivery delays, or even give me a general time frame for delivery (to put away perishables), then they obviously don't want my business anymore. I canceled my order, canceled my online account, and deleted the app. Time to shop local! read more

Went into Walmart today to get groceries and cigarettes, and while paying for everything, I experienced horrible customer service. Wanda, (with blue hair), was very disrespectful towards me and my boyfriend. While grabbing the groceries, I was interrupted by Wanda stating I cannot touch any of the bags because one bag contained the cigarettes. Both of us are over the age of 21 and were both I.D'd. Yet she stated that I can not touch any bags when I was just trying to help carry the groceries to the vehicle. I advise not to go through the alcohol/tabacco isle when Wanda is working... just a heads up, thank you. read more

Last week I ordered a few items online and selected 'store pickup' as my delivery option. Yesterday I was able to pick up the two items that had to be shipped since they were unavailable at the store. However, the one item that was actually in stock I couldn't get. I asked the employee why I didn't receive the wallet I ordered and he told me it's still being shipped and that if I wanted to know more then I needed to look it up myself. Rude. I told him that it was in stock and asked if I was able to have one off the shelf. He told me no and said I just had to wait. When I ordered the wallet it said it was available for pick up that day. Which means they were going to take one off the shelf for me to pickup. So, why wouldn't they take one off the shelf when I was there to pick up my other items? Why make things more difficult than they need to be? Now I have to wait for this wallet to be shipped from the opposite side of the United States rather than just receiving one they had in store. I am quite upset with this experience. That was the first and last time I will ever order anything from Walmart. The customer service is terrible. read more

Once just there to get an oil change at 8:35a. There was only 1 car there with 2 workers. One gentleman working on a red car, the other at the desk scheduling appts. I ask for an oil change. He tells me it will be 45 minutes because he has to take a phone call. There was one 1 other patron ahead of me. Why 45 minutes? Does it take 45 minutes to respond to a phone customer? Poor customer service. Never going here again. Much prefer the Walmart on Spring Meadow Place even though this one is closer to my home. read more
