I was worried the willow would be difficult to safely take down, but they were very safe in climbing the tree. They also cut the oaks completely back from hanging over our roof, and ground multiple stumps we had around our yard. They were finished in less than 5 hours and cleaned the worksite very well - they even cleared a brush pile we had from some trimming we had done ourselves the week before. His price came in lower than someone else I had come and give me a quote, which I was surprised. My smallish pine tree (15 - 20 ft tall) was cut, stump removed, and cleaned up in 2.5 hours. Leo double checked if I wanted the hole to be left open where the stump was removed or cover it back up with dirt before they finished the project. I opted for them to cover the hole back up since I'm not ready to put in a new tree. I used Willy recently and about 7 years ago. Importantly, he has excellent equipment: cherry picker…read moretruck (lift up into the tree), amazing chipper and so on. He also has an excellent crew. The small project was to take a pittosporum down about 5 feet and enhance the canopy shape. They did a very nice job on this. Meanwhile, the bigger project was being done by the rest of the crew. We have a very large Monterey Cypress. It needed to be cleared or dead branches, a good deal of weight, and a large lateral "window" created to allow a clear view from a back deck. With guys on ropes and a guy on the cherry picker truck (bucket truck), they go the job done. All of this was completed in an afternoon and within about a week of my contacting them. Additionally, I enjoyed interacting with the crew and with Willy. Certainly worth getting an estimate!

I tried to cut down a tall maple tree on the border of a property myself. It was near houses and a…read morepower line ran straight through it, so I couldn't just fell it down. At first, it looked like I could do it. The bottom branches went down easily to a pole saw. Then I had to start climbing ladders, and then onto roofs to reach more branches. Holding a long pole saw overhead while maintaining balance on a roof is dangerous and tiring. On the third day it was time to cut the super high branches. The only way we could do it was with a Arborist sling slot, and alot of rope rigging and a rope saw. It was a headache and the equipment seemed expensive. Thankfully Willy's Tree service drove by and saw us struggling and took pity on us. We negotiated a fair price based on the work we had already done, and what we were quoted from other arborists (which was so high that it lead us to try it on our own originally). He said he would be back in two hours, but actually ended up late. I'm not going to dock any points for this because I knew we were a side job after his main job, and it was spontaneously scheduled. After his other job was over, he came over with his crew, a bucket truck, and a wood chipper that eats 12 inch logs like potato chips. And the entire job was done in the time that it would have taken me to cut 1 branch. At the end of the day, as his crew drove away, I was thankful that they came in and helped at a very fair price. So lesson learned. Save yourself the headache of expensive equipment, dangerous risk to life and limb, and call in a professional like Willy's Tree Service.

I hired Julian Tree Care to remove a 20 year old pine tree in my front yard. It had gotten larger…read morethan the space really supported and was generally regarded as a menace in the neighborhood due to all of the needles and pollen it produced. Emmanuel came out within a day or so of initial contact and quoted me a fair price for removal and grinding of the stump. The work was arranged about a week later. The crew arrived early and was done after only an hour and a half. They carefully swept and blew away the sawdust and other remnants after finishing up. My neighbors were shocked how quickly the work was done. Later in the afternoon, Emmanuel called to check on the quality of the work to make sure everything was done well.
