    Vines are ripening nicely

I echo the sentiment of some of the other reviewers, Jackie is a total trip. Her vivacious nature and feel good vibes are infectious. I've been to many wineries and I've never come across anyone as into their job, and the enjoyment of the patrons as she is. Not to take away from the wines, but she is destined for greatness in whatever field she pursues. As for the product, it is pretty decent. I found more whites that interested me, but I was happy to try a red variety I had never heard of, Ives. The favorite of the tasting was an Ice wine, this example was as good or better than some I've had which are double the cost. The tasting room is fairly small, but since this is a bit off the beaten path, it never became too crowded. Somehow Jackie was able to take care of everyone( at one point at least 10 of us) by herself. The winemaker/owner was also in attendance and was fun to talk with. All but a few of the varieties of grapes are produced by the winery, and even the fruit used is local. Well worth a side trip if you are coming from or going to the shore. 4 viniferous Yelps

Such a sweet little hidden gem for some fun chill wine tasting. The staff here is so helpful and kind and the environment is very relaxed and clean, especially during these unfortunate times. If you are looking for a fun small step away, definitely consider this little tasting spot

It's a small family winery and they had a small tasting bar. Tasting room decoration isn't fancy and wine tasting menu isn't sophisticated. But the staff is very friendly and helpful. We met Mr dematteo who is the owner and winemaker. He was also helping wine tastings that afternoon. He explained to us how he made each wine and gave us some tasting notes from all of his wines. That was very helpful. We were very impressed by his employee who was working with him. She was very helpful and knowledgeable too. It was really fun to be there. I bought few tramminate from here. If you like guwerztreminer or tramminate, you should try place. Price is good and people are fun. It's a very small winery but don't miss it if you are around this area.

Another stop on our passport stamping. 7 tastings for $8. Includes souvenir glass. Place was very small. We found all the wines too sweet. Purchased the Chocolate Raz for a friend who likes toosie rolls.

We were met by the Owner Frank, General Manager John, and Wine Enthusiast Jacky. While we were the last tasters of the evening, they made us feel like we were family. Like a typical Italian house, the DiMatteo family had a spread of savory and sweet snacks to compliment the wine tasting experience. I must say I'm not a fan of simple table wines, but Frank's red table gave me a sense of nostalgia. The first sip took be back in time when I use to sit with my grandfather as he drank his glass of daily red. This is a great stop!

Wines are decent but I also found them to be way too sweet. Would like to see a couple dry whites and reds on the menu

White Horse is located about an hour from Philadelphia. The property is beautiful, the staff laid back & friendly. We sampled two flights, three tastes in each. Some selections didn't send me (like Albarino and Merlot.). I loved the Cab Franc, but my family did not. (Good thing, since it's $42.50 a bottle.). In the mood for rose, we purchased a bottle of the reserve and enjoyed it with a charcuterie board. White Horse Winery is dog friendly, imperative since I have a little furry house guest this week. Saturday afternoon we were entertained by singer/guitarist Zac Run. (Zac makes his rounds at restaurants, local wineries and distilleries. He's quite good!) By mid-afternoon the winery was hopping with a birthday gathering and what looked like two bachelorette parties. There's plenty of seating on the porch, inside and on the grounds. I look forward to a return visit.

The young ladies who helped us were so patient and explained everything including the wines and food menu. The charcuterie board was huge and everything on it was good, and three of us ordered the shrimp scampi flatbread. Lastly, the wines.....the wines were delicious! We walked out with purchasing at least 3 bottles each. These are the wines I can remember tasting, there were two more I cannot think of: 1. Blueberry 2. Blackberry 3. American Ranier I will definitely be back whenever I am in the area!

Service was great! Here is what we tried: *Ranier Rose - This was good, but we liked the other Ranier versions better. *Ranier Red - This was a very good sweet wine! *Ranier Red - This was also a very good sweet wine! *Red Sangria - This was a good wine, definitely has a raspberry taste to it, at least to us, so not my favorite of the day since I'm not a huge fan of raspberry. *Peach Moscato - This was a really good sweet wine with nice peach flavor. *Huckleberry Moscato - This was also a good sweet wine, but would have preferred a stronger huckleberry flavor, so we preferred the peach. *Almonique - I was most excited to try this one as I love Amaretto. This one was outstanding, definitely tastes like Amaretto without the harsh alcohol flavor. *Smores Cream Wine - It was good, definitely like a smores. *Mocha Java Cream Wine - Our server suggested us to try this one as it was his favorite. We both dislike coffee so we were not expecting to care for this one, but we liked it more than the Smores! Definitely very chocolatey! *Strawberry Mango Cider - This was strong in strawberry with the mango being an aftertaste, but still very good and sweet! *Peach Ginger Cider - This was definitely strong in ginger, almost too much, as I would prefer a stronger peach flavor, but it was still good. This was also sweet. My top three of the day: Almonique, Ranier Red, and Ranier White My husband's top three of the day: Almonique, Ranier Red, and Sangria. I would have loved to have tried some more as it sounds like they have a lot of good wines that are in line with what we liked! When we got home, we ordered some of the wines and ciders and they were shipped very quickly. I will be paying attention to their sales to order more in the future. I definitely recommend stopping by Tomasello Winery if you are in the area!
