There are two large fire pits that can be rented. You can order from a local pizza place (see menu w/wine pairings, brilliant!) and they deliver right to your table! Wow, really. What a waste of time. We've been to probably 50 wineries over the years and this one is at the bottom of the list. So many things about this place puts it at the bottom. They seat you. Are you kidding me. The flights, preset and very little for the cost. Do they know what a dessert wine is? Apparently not. Not one of us liked the wines, but with few tastings for the $, how would we know. Very rarely do we leave a winery without buying a bottle or five. From the moment we walked in with our children, they were discriminating towards us. As soon as our children started to color, they said, "our furniture is new and we don't allow crayons." I have never once heard of such a thing in my life. Never mind the fact they sell wine and had food vendors with the same new furniture, which are allowed. They allow their visitors to smoke weed in the parking lot, but crayons are not allowed. This is Williamstown to say the least. read more

Thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit series. The live music, great tasting wine (enjoyed a flight, rosé, and Williamstown reserve), and even better company. Honestly, if I lived closer, I'd be there everyday. Following a hectic 10 week semester and crazy times at work, it was nice to unwind out in the open, by a fire. They do not allow outside food, but you can order from a local restaurant, Monalisia, which has some great selections that are very delicious paired with the wine. We will NEVER EVER EVER go there again !!!!! These people have NO regard for their customers !! Their website said " 04/03 | Live Music w/ Steph Owens 2-5pm". So we drove almost an hour to get there, to be told " Sorry, we canceled the music because of the weather but we are still here to serve you inside" e.g. We are too cheap to pay the musician and move him inside, but we will still overcharge you for wine and food inside a warehouse. There was absolutely NO reason that the musician could not have played inside the warehouse where they were overcharging for wine and food. If you decide to go there, in spite of my recommendation against it, expect only to be overcharged ! There are lots of honest wineries in the area, don't waste your time with this one !!! read more

Went here for a birthday party and from the moment we arrived we felt so unwelcomed. Apparently the group (10 women) "were too many to partake in this prestige winery". I don't know if racism played a part but we sure were not welcomed the second we arrived. One member of the staff were making comments like "is this to go" from the second we arrived. Within minutes of arrival, I was told that I couldn't get served because I was a part of the group on the bus and we had to leave. Obviously we weren't welcomed. I can not stress enough how completely rude and obnoxious most of the staff were to us. Very belittling and for absolutely no reason. It took a lot for us to maintain our composure after being treated so grossly by staff. This is no way to run an establishment. Very unprofessional. Needless to say I will not be returning & will take my money to another establishment that will treat us like human beings. You have been warned. read more

I kept going back and forth with myself whether to write a review, and I wasn't sure if maybe it was in my head. But I can assure you, all of the one star ratings below me are valid. Our group did not feel welcomed or accommodated from the moment we arrived, and there was clear miscommunication between the servers/hostesses and the owner (the same one referenced in some of the other reviews below). I asked one of the girls if we were still allowed to just go inside and order our slushies and she said yes. We go inside, and are stopped by the owner (and there's a lot of workers watching the exchange) and she asked what we were doing and that everything had to be taken care of by our server. I said I asked the server and she said we could come in and order our slushies inside. She proceeded to call the girl over (clearly, I don't know all of their names to know who exactly was our server or just a hostess) and asked her in front of everyone if she told us that. I was mortified. Embarrassed for myself, my group, the server. I said listen I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble or cause any issues we just thought it would be less burdensome for you guys if we came and ordered inside like I was told we could. The male owner has always been incredibly kind whenever I have visited in the past, and I just couldn't believe how uncomfortable I felt being there. Very contentious, very unkind. So we left right away and went to Coda Rossa and Bellview (great experiences). Please note, that our actual servers must have known how rude we were being treated by some, and were very very kind. It was a shame, because I would have liked to stay a little longer to give them (our two servers) more of our business, but it didn't feel right. read more

I went here for their Fall Firepit series which is where you can sit outdoors by one of their fire pits and listen to live music. It was really cold the night I went so I called Blue Cork about 3 hours because I got there to make sure the event was still on and the worker confirmed that it was. I drove ONE HOUR to get to Blue Cork and guess what? The event was cancelled. They weren't allowing people to sit outdoors by the fire pits because the "wind would blow out the fire." It wasn't even windy. Philly has outdoor dining with fire pits and those restaurants don't cancel because of the 'wind.' It seemed more like the workers didn't want to work outside in the cold. Since people couldn't sit outside, they had people sitting indoors...in the garage. The garage didn't look or feel like a winery. I got a table that had plastic chairs and I felt like I was at a one star restaurant with mediocre wine. They also only have porta potties which is odd because I've never been to a winery that didn't have real bathrooms. I was a little annoyed that I drove so far to sit in a garage when I had called 3 hours prior and they confirmed the event was still happening. I checked their Facebook and Instagram later that night and they didn't announce that the event was cancelled. Even if they had amazing wine, it's unacceptable and unprofessional to cancel an event without updating their social media account which they are active on. Don't even get me started on their cheese board. For $20+, you would expect a decent sized cheese board but at Blue Cork, it's literally the smallest plate. It maybe had 6 slices of cheese and 2 olives. I was embarrassed for the worker that gave a cheese board to a group of 6 that was sitting across of me. Skip this winery. There's plenty others in the area. read more

So we went to this winery for a birthday party, we called in advance and they said for 16 people we needed to rent a private room and because we didn't want to do that they said just to come and just sit at different tables. We went there, like they told us, and they said they "couldn't accommodate us because we were too many", we said we didn't care to sit at different tables and have different checks and they said "there was nothing they could do". At the same time they were letting groups of 5-6 people coming in and we said what about we were 3 different groups of 5 and they said "I'm sorry but no". They had around 10 tables empty and they were charging $5 per person just to get in. Horrible customer service! read more

This winery has potential but let me down on my first visit, which is disappointing given how close it is to home. First off, the seating is less than ideal. The inside looks clean and new but feels like more of a brewery to me. Kinda sterile and not very inviting despite the modern look. The outdoor seating is better, but kinda just feels like you're next to a winery rather than being immersed in it. You'll know what I mean when you go. Vineyard looks inviting but always feel a solid arm's reach away from the seating to pit it lightly. Almost like drinking in a backyard next to a winery. Additional star lost due to poor customer service. The gentleman(owner?) that greeted us and opened the door for us on the way in seemed like a legitimately nice and friendly guy, but the good customer service stopped there. The lady at the register couldn't have cared less that we were buying wine that was admittedly good, but overpriced, and gave us zero recommendations or input after we told her we were first time customers and open to suggestions. Lastly, and no fault of the business here, there were a couple older patrons here that were flat out rude in terms of oddly staring at my friends and I. Good wine, but unlikely to return given the layout and phoned in customer service. read more

Environment was seriously lacking- cheap plastic chairs and tables, porta potties, blocked view by two pre-fabricated buildings and the cherry on top: the wine was served in plastic cups...yikes. No food menu (you have to order from a pizza place down the street) & the wine is okay. Nothing special or memorable. After spending around $150, they told us to get off of the wooden chairs facing the only decent view of the vineyard, as they were reserved for "members only"...mind you we were 1 of 3 other groups there. So totally rude. You can tell the owner is just trying to cut down on cost, while making as much $ as possible. They charge you $2.50 if you want to drink out of a wine glass with a cheesy logo (which you can keep btw - no, thanks). Service was great, but definitely do not recommend. So disappointed in this place. We were excited to go here and try out a new local winery. Unfortunately it was anything but a traditional winery with that warm inviting feel. When we arrived we were stopped at the outside entrance to an open cement courtyard by a young hostess who was very timid and unsure of anything we asked her. She walked us over to a plastic picnic bench in that courtyard and sat us with a plastic wine list and walked away as we were talking to her. All she answered with is that we had to sit at these tables and that a sever would be over. All the while the Owner was hovering around and watching and confronting the hostess on everything. The hostess then circled back and told us that at 4pm we would all be charged a $5 per person cover charge to "cover" the cost of the propane for the fire pits and lanterns. It was 80 degrees out. The fire pits were a community pit and there were two on the property. We had no intentions of sitting around the fire pit. So to make customers pay for something to offset the wineries expenses is very off putting. Once the waitress came over we asked her what the setup was and if there was an actual winery where we could walk up and taste test the wines. She said no but we were more then welcome to walk into the one warehouse and purchase a glass/bottle and sit outside in the "self-serve" area. Ok so let me breakdown the setup of this place. It is 3 large warehouse in a U shape with a large concrete pad in the middle. All full of plastic picnic tables and round plastic tables/chairs. 2 of the warehouse were not being used and the other one was the one we could enter. The self-serve area. Once we entered the self-serve winery warehouse we were immediately approached by this same Owner (she had OWNER printed on her shirt) She again pushed us to have table seating with a server. We asked if there was a tasting area or a spot where we could check out the wines and ask questions regarding them. (A typical winery experience) she said no and that everything can be done through a server. She also stared that there are no tasting and only flights and we can get them from a table outside. We had to do everything from our server. So we were shuffled back out to our table again where we ordered through the waitress. We waited for the last couple in our party to arrive grabbed our bill and left. We received such a cold stale vibe from this place. It was nothing of a winery other then the vineyards which were on the back side of the courtyard. We purchased one overpriced glass each and left to go to a different winery. Another new place we saw and wanted to try. The one we went to 2miles up the road was beautiful and warming and as soon as we walked in the sommelier called us up. They had a wine tasting area and engaged with us immediately. Exactly what we were looking for and expected. read more

This is a brand new winery in the Williamstown area meaning I'm pretty sure it only opened last year. I first visited the winery because of the musical entertainment scheduled. Of course this visit required me to purchase a bottle of red and I must tell you, it was delicious. I find that some local wines are a bit watery and definitely not my favorite but this wine was full bodied and flavorful. I've tried other wines since then. Blue Cork is definitely worth a visit. The winery recently opened after Covid happened. They have an incredible outdoor space with fire pits etc. and again have acoustic musicians playing. My husband and I visited this winery multiple times when they first opened and enjoyed it. Because of our first few positive experiences, he planned a surprise winery party bus crawl and this was the last stop of the day, knowing we enjoyed the wine and that they were open until 7pm on a Sunday. We arrived with a large group, and immediately were greeted by 3 workers saying they couldn't serve us and that we were not allowed in. One would think being a newer winery in the area, that they would welcome guests with open arms. We were very disappointed and quite honestly, will never visit this winery again. It's a shame because they lost a lot of business today and in the future, from a large group of local winery goers. We had great experiences today at Bellview Winery, Coda Rosa, and Autumn Lake. I planned a winery tour for my wife's 30th birthday this year and when we got here they turned us away because they said they only had one server. She is an ICU nurse and has been working so hard during the pandemic and I wanted her to just have a great time out that she deserved. There were two people outside to turn us away and said there was only one bartender. (So obviously there were at least 3 people working) Before we got here we were at bellview winery and coda rossa. Coda rossa only had one person on staff and he waited on us and we had a great experience. Blue Cork turned us away before we could get to the door. This completely ruined the day that I had planned for my wife and they had no reason why they turned us away before we even got to the door. You would think being a newer winery in the area that they would welcome customers. Needless to say, our large group of local friends will never return to this winery. read more

We rented a bus for my sister in laws 31st birthday. Planned our last stop on the wine tour here as they were open until 7 on a Sunday. We arrived at 4. We were quickly met by two employees who claimed that they did not take groups larger than 8 without a reservation and they only had 1 bartender staffed. They told us their 1 server could not handle a group of 24 - which is ridiculous because there were 3 employees there that day; and the previous winery only had ONE employee all day that served not only us, but the other people at that winery as well. I hope the owner sees this and realizes that his/her employees turned away 24 people and that 24 people all committed to never going there again. Enjoy 1 star. Loved this winery! Me and a couple of friends took a private tour of the winery with the owner! He was so sweet and we were able to eat the grapes off the vine! We had a complimentary glass of wine with the tour and sampled some more wine near the end. All and all, a cute winery with great staff! Everyone was so attentive to the guests there. Best winery tour ever! Went with a bachelorette party and we had so much fun on the private tour through the vineyard. The owner of the vineyard led our tour and was very entertaining and fun to talk with. We learned so much about the process of making wine, from the soil through to bottling! Also got to sample a bunch of different wines, which were all delicious. After our tour, we enjoyed just hanging out at a table and enjoying the live music. 1st time visiting and was pretty disappointed. Do NOT expect to take/get any cute pics at this winery. They blocked off the vineyard with caution take so you can't take pics or go near it. The outdoor seating feels more like a picnic park than an actual winery. They really should update their website with details about the fire pit.. how you need minimum 6 ppl and pay $8 a person? A man, maybe the owner wasn't friendly at all. Such an unwelcoming feeling almost the entire time we were there. Definitely do not recommend this place for having a "fun" time with friends. We are in from FL to visit and finally got the chance to experience this hidden gem that we've heard so much about! It did not disappoint! The owners make you feel like family! The cranberry cider is spectacular! Apple wine, nothing short of amazing. Let's just say....once this diamond finishes getting polished, it will be an icon for many many years! This winery was excellent from the moment my husband and I pulled into the parking lot. The owners were extremely welcoming and went over each wine with us. They were extremely grateful for us stopping(kept thanking us for stopping in) in and were very attentive. The wine slushees were soooo good! They weren't super heavy and filling. Joe took the time to tell us about the winery and the owners were great with explaining everything. That we were tasting. I mist admit I was a bit hesitant after reading the review of a previous guest of color. I am so sorry that they didn't haven't a good experience.
