I attended a Celebration of Life for a former colleague here in the fall of 2023 and was blown away by the tasteful upgrades Bellview has undergone: a patio seating area, expanded tasting room, and interior seating area. I had a glass (or two) of their rosé and was well impressed with their dry interpretation of the style. My wife and I have gone back several times since, sharing a bottle and trying different cheese plates (our current favorite is the brie, a DiBruno Bros offering that is gently melted and served with crackers and your choice of spread... try the fig). The service is attentive and the staff are happy to pour you a taste of a bottle you're fancying. Ditch the sports bars with the noisy TVs and try Bellview for a contemplative afternoon out with someone you love to chat up. read more

We took the sampler of 4 wines actually they threw in a fifth. We chose a white blend semi sweet. Not bad and a great price. The reds however are pretty typical of coastal reds. They just can seen to develop a full bodied flavor. I simply told them that the reds were unfinished. Now possibly the answer is to keep them in the barrel longer than you would in VAnor even Napa, or maybe even that won't work. I will say their Chamber in was just awful. How have I never written a review of Bellview? I have been visiting this winery since they originally opened. This is the winery that first made me realize what NJ wine could be. I have always been a fan of their dry reds. I have attended countless events and private family parties here. My brother had his wedding reception here as well. We stopped by on a rainy day Sunday 1.22.23. We had a Dry White Flight simply because I am already familiar with the Reds. We also ordered glasses of Merlot , Chambourcin, a Honey Gouda and an Italian Platter. We sat on the heated side porch and just relaxed for a bit. Wine and service is still excellent. I am looking forward to attending some events this Spring/Summer when the beautiful weather returns. There is nothing more enjoyable than sipping wine with your feet in the grass, music playing, and the sun shining down. read more

Come for the vibes, not (necessarily) the wine. Overall, this winery has a really good atmosphere, but I found the wine to be quite mediocre. My family (5ppl) and I came on Monday (Labor Day). I made a reservation in case, but the place had a lot of seating available. This is not to say that this place was empty, because it was definitely quite busy. But they just have a LOT of outdoor seating space with shade and umbrellas. There's also a stage which I assume is for live music. They have to-go cheese boards that are a bit underwhelming. But I'm sure because it's prepackaged for Covid safety precautions, it's a lot less impressive than it could be. I appreciate the health measures in place for this area though! (Only one person per party allowed inside, masks required indoors, etc). My family got 2 variety tastings, 2 sweet, and I got the dry red tasting. I'm a big fan of reds, but the 4 I got in my tasting were....very average. My aunt and cousin felt the same way about the variety. I think the sweet tasting was a bit more appreciated, but overall, the wine here isn't fantastic, in my opinion. They do give you an ample amount of wine for the tasting, although it is $8 for 4 wines. Again, I really liked the atmosphere here. You can bring your own snacks and hang out. It's super beautiful! However, if I could bring my own wine here I would too (lol). Worth a visit if you have a free afternoon and you are nearby! read more

I've come here on two separate occasions and was impressed both times. My friends and I came here for a winter event where they were offering a wine tasting for only $6 where you can try 8 different wines. This is such a good deal! The staff were friendly, informative, and helpful. Most of the wines range between $11-$25 which I think is a very fair price. My favorite red is definitely fiesta while my favorite white is the traminette. It my favorite all time is the cristallina. If you're a fan of mead this wine you definitely have to try it. Oh, man. What an experience. So here's the story. Bellview's Fiesta wine stole my soul a long time ago, and I always have one on hand for any occasion. It's such a versatile, perfected grape and cranberry-mixed wine. Well, last week I went to pick up some bottles from Wegmans, and they were all sold out! I was so bummed. And then I remembered: I can drive to the winery! I then checked their website to grab their hours and noticed that this weekend was the Winter Wine Weekend! Such great timing. Good thinking, brain. My good vino friend and Yelper, Shannon C., and I made the trek down to Landisville in the snow, ice and low visibility, but luckily made it alive, parked, and were greeted by a "People Love Us On Yelp" sticker and a friendly man throwing salt down on the walkway. We then stepped in to the cozy, surprisingly expansive winery. It looks much smaller from the outside. We each paid $5 for a tasting of eight wines and were attended to by Matt, who was incredibly detailed in describing each of our (often varying) choices. I had to pick wisely as their selections were vast (as in, no "trying" Fiesta.) I actually skipped over all but one wine from the fruit section, but only because I had tried them at the Jersey Fresh Wine Festival last fall and knew I loved them. I didn't get a chance to try the dry reds nor the semi-sweet wines, in favor of a couple dry whites, a sparkling, and the entire speciality box. By the end of our adventure, I had tried the Traminette 2012, Jersey Devil White, Cranberry, Lettizzia (sparkling), Winter Spice (served piping hot from a crock pot), Cristallina (ice wine), Dandelion, and their Port. The Dandelion was beyond the normal levels of sweet -- it was almost too sweet for me -- but definitely an experience of its own. Make sure to try it -- if only to say you drank a weed. As an added bonus, they let you keep the glasses. I purchased bottles of Fiesta (obviously), Cranberry, Jersey Blues, Lettizzia, and Winter Spice, and we later sat in the area above the tasting section and relaxed for a bit. Bellview also has a nice and clean bathroom, in case you were interested. I'll definitely be making a trip back here, to see the grounds when they aren't blanketed by snow, and to try the semi-sweet wines. This is a top-notch operation with high quality offerings, and my only source of sadness is the fact that it's a 45-minute drive away! read more

The diversity of NJ is remarkable, as you can be on the packed Atlantic City boardwalk enjoying the beaches and the casino resorts, and within a half hour drive you can be in rural, NJ farmland. I recently visited Bellview Winery for the first time and it was quite enjoyable. First of all, the tasting room is modern, super cute, and the wine tastings, as well as the cheese/food pairings, are very reasonably priced. I learned that Bellview exclusively uses its own farmed grapes for its wines. the grounds are lovely and peaceful; the people are friendly and a pleasure to chat with. Wine tastes are so subjective I won't make a suggestion, but I did walk out with an easy drinking red, "NJ Devil" that would work really nicely as a base for Sangria. Was in the area and looking for a place to kill some time before heading back home. Found this place with a quick Google search! The girls working were super sweet. We ended up getting the sweet and variety wine flights. The sweet was definitely my favorite! I'm a sweet wine person, and I would get 3/4 bottles of the samples they provided. The variety flight had a repeat from the sweet flight. Only thing I would improve is if they served the flights in wine glasses. This was my first time getting a flight served in plastic cups. But all in all, it was great as the flights were cheap ($8) as well as the bottles (most sweet were $12)! read more

We went for the Wine & chocolate event February 10 and we got there went the event was supposed to start at noon, we were lucky to get the last table. Bellview Winery is an outstanding winery on beautiful grounds. The tasting room is extremely large with a gift shop as well. The staff provided us with an excellent tasting experience. They were vet knowledgeable and prod of their wine. All of the wine we tasted was very good. One unique factor is they have seasonal wines on tap! They have two different growlers you can purchase for fill. The large growler is not expensive and worth it. The wine keeps for months in the growler unopened. Once you a finished it, you can bring the growler back for refill at an even better price! They have a Facebook page which posts the many events taking place at the winery. I highly recommend following them on Facebook and attending an event or stopping by for a tasting. You will not be disappointed. read more

Love this winery! Every time my wife and I visit my hometown there is absolutely no way we cannot stop at the endless row of wineries. The staff were very nice and welcoming. We were able to bring our dog as well which we were excited about. We enjoyed all the flights while we set outside to catch up and it was very serine just watching tractors roll by and checking out the vineyards. They have a great selection of sweet wines that I highly recommend. Reds are an acquired taste and if that is your thing you will love this winery. It's not a hard winery to find but it is a little ways out and it is worth the extra mile. Bring a group of friends, have fun, they do weddings as well. read more

Don't have a wedding here. Just go for wine. The owner won't let you have a dj or open the doors of the small area provided so your guest are forced to not hear anything going on. No area really to get married like walk way and guest have to scatter around you. read more

Driving through New Jersey, I am en route to AC with a co-worker. The last thing you expect to see is a winery. Being from California and a wine geek, I thought it would be fun to stop and try what passed for wine back here. After all, there are wineries in all 50 states though not all of them are good. We see Bellview and stop for a break. The tasting room is nice and better than I expected. You are able to walk out through their processing area and take a look at their small operation. The girl working the tasting room is cute and surprisingly knowledgeable about wine. She knows quite a bit about east coast wine. I learn that southern New Jersey was recently classified as it's own AVA. New Jersey grew the most grapes in the US prior to prohibition. Wow. They offer a variety of grapes I have never heard of. There are 1000's of varietals in the world and they have chosen to grow only what the land and climate will allow. This is how winemaking is supposed to be done. I tried many varietals I had never even heard of. These included Ives, Chambourcin and Lemberger. They had some fruit wines as well which were quite nice. The most odd item of all was dandelion wine. Apparently, this is an old family recipe and is common in the area. It is good, unique and a real conversation item to bring to a dinner party (to pair with dessert). When it comes to price, I am blown away. The wines range from $9 to $14 per bottle. I snatch up a case without even thinking. With a case discount, it is even less. The wines are nothing earth shattering, but for the money they are awesome everyday wines and an excellent value. Many are big enough to stand up to flavorful beef dishes. For the rest of the trip, I ache for the fun wine we had and for the cute tasting room manager. When we get to New York, it is shipped home for later consumption. When I get home, I try a bottle with a steak just to make sure it was not a fluke. Nah, it was not. Great wine at an excellent price point. My only gripe is they cannot ship out of state. This is New Jersey law. The winery will help you pack the wine for travel, that is all they can do. They are working on getting the government to allow shipping to other states. When they do, I will be ordering my share. read more

Delicious wines from dries to sweets!! Came here the other day for Winterfest (I think that was the name) and although it was super packed, the service was great! Their platters were great, too. We had The Un-fig-ettable platter - yum! We bought a bottle of Under the Arbor, but will be buying more when I see them in the liquor store. Never been here before or to a winery. Made a reservation. No one was outside there was only one other party there. We waited outside for 20 minutes wondering where to go since the front parking was blocked off. I saw a lady in back tried to get her attention she slammed the door in my face. Then I called they said go around front. We went inside then they brought us to the table in 100 degrees heat. So then they said ok enjoy then come get some wine. We had to go back inside for some nasty wine that tasted like popurrí. What a shame. The organization was terrible. read more

Went here for the Winter Wine Weekend or something like that. Great place with pretty nice grounds. Lots of helpful staff even though it was pretty crowded and the platter we got was super tasty. Also they have a decent enough wine selection that me, my mother, and my sister all found things that I liked. I think I would have liked a little more guidance and organization with parking and the crowd in the tasting room and I'd give it 5 stars instead. One of my favorite winery's! Mainly because it's one of the closest to where I live, but it is a nice place. This past year, we went a few times. One day in February it was seasonally warm and they perfect day to buy a bottle and relax outside. There was not a lot of people, but a nice crowd. They also had a fire pit going, which was great because as the day went on, it started to get more chilly. I enjoy their wines, the Fiesta being my favorite. The staff is always friendly, even on their busiest days when they're trying to get to everyone. The inside gets a little cramped and unorganized when there's a lot of people, but I enjoy this winery otherwise! read more

I was here for a wine tasting and Seafood festival. We were contemplating what to do and l pulled this winery up on Yelp. Surprise, surprise today was the weekend of the Seafood Festival. The event was $15.00 per adult at the door and they also had advance tickets on line for $10.00 per adult. You received a glass and a bracelet which included unlimited wine tasting. I have to give Bellview Winery their credit. They really impressed me with their variety of wine selections. They have all kinds of wine. Starting from dry to sweet to the fruity and also Specialty wines. I'm not exactly a dry wine lover but l'm more into semi sweet to fruity and l enjoyed it all. Didn't care to taste the Dry but all the others including the Specialty wines were delicious and we bought about three bottles from them and enjoyed one there. It was called Jersey Blues. It was good. They also make a heck of a good tasting Sangria. We definitely plan on coming back on our yearly visit to Southern New Jersey. Everyone here is so friendly. Also would like to give a shout out to the band that were playing. The band name was "To The Max". They had everyone heads nodding and up jamming to the beat. Everyone was enjoying themselves. The food was excellent! I had the shrimp kabob twice. Sooooo good and impressed with the seafood trucks as well. Everything was nicely done. read more

On my mission to drink at every winery in Jersey, I came across this little gem & fell in love! Bellview has everything you could ever want from a winery: seating areas, beautiful grounds, cute little stuff to buy, friendly knowledgeable staff, and delicious wine! The first thing that struck me was the great variety in wine. They have solid offerings for every variety you can think of. My favorite wine I had here was the sparkling blueberry. For a few dollars I was able to try 8 wines, and there wasn't one I didn't like. This winery is definitely off the beaten path, but I would highly recommend it for any wine enthusiast! read more

Saturday, 08/17/2013: 9th Annual Seafood Festival My wife and I have previously attended this festival back in 2006 & 2008. This years festival was a lot of fun (much improved!). What we like about this festival is that the rules are very relaxed/non-pretentious compared to other wineries (so long as you act like a mature adult). Everything was well-thought-out and ran smoothly. We arrived about 30 minutes after the start-time and we scoped out a great seating area under the tree next to the music stage. The crowd was very multi-cultured and family friendly (good amount of young children but not too daycare'ish... well behaved). They had glass carafes of chilled Sangria (w/ fruit) for sale, that was key! They were $15.00 a pop but we got 3 to 4 glasses out of each, delicious! (you just leave a deposit and bring up the used one, they keep handing you a new carafe). The 'To The Max' dance band was excellent! They hit all genres from Frank Sinatra to Justin Timberlake... the crowd was dancing! This festival even had a small cigar lounge. They had clean/very spacious/air-conditioned Porta Potties, the best I have ever seen! Kate and I brought our own food (glad we did). We just felt that for a Seafood Festival, the seafood selections were not that good compared to other festivals we have been to (we tried a few vendors for appetizers). They had too many fried-food selections. I do realize that Atlantic County prohibits them from serving raw seafood but we would of liked to have seen some items such as fish tacos, skewered shrimp/scallop kabobs on the grill, corn-on-the-cob, etc. - Pre-sale tickets were $10.00. Same Day ticket were $15 for 21 and Older, $10 for 18 and Older (Not Drinking, including Designated Drivers), Free of Charge for Under 18. - Admission included Wine Tasting, Cheese Tasting, Sangria tasting, Live Music, free Parking, Souvenir glass and Tours. - Seating was First Come, First Serve. - You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. No Canopy tents (10x10) are allowed. However, they have large tents set up with tables and chairs for all to use. - You are allowed to bring coolers and outside food. You are NOT ALLOWED to bring outside alcohol (understandably). They have numerous vendors to purchase food from. - You are given a wine glass so you can sample all the varieties of Bellview wine. They have bottles for sale that you can take home or uncork on the lawn. - They are pet friendly (just make sure to clean up after your dog!) - You are advised to bring cash. Even though Bellview Winery accepts credit cards, some vendors may not. Vendors run independent of the winery. There is no ATM on-site. We are looking forward to next years festival! 3rd stop in my goal to go to a winery every weekend. This has easily been my favorite so far. A plaque on the wall indicates that they won NJ winery of the year and I can see why. It's family owned at a century farm in rural south jersey. The staff was very friendly and informative and generous with the wine. Visitors get 8 complementary tastings. 8!!! We ended up actually trying about 10 because the server was being generous and saying things like "you need to try ____ because it's great". Sign indicates that they have jazz on Saturdays. Will likely be back for that. Oh, and about the wine - yummy and varied. A lot of dry choices and some very good reds (esp. Lemberger). I ended up buying a couple whites for summer including their 2007 dandelion wine. I was so surprised at how much I love the dandelion wine. The server suggested mixing it with iced green tea which basically sounds like the best thing ever. Make the trip here. read more

I am a little biased because I know the Quarella family, but these guys give it their all, and I will always pick up a bottle before a family function. I purchased a groupon and got it for $10!!! It included a cheese plate, 8 sample tastings and our wine glasses to take home. It was about a half hour from us, but we really enjoyed it and know that we want to come back! Flo was our guide for today and she did a fabulous job. She was very knowledgeable about the wines and showed us a great time! Only thing I would change or recommend since we were their for about an hour in a half is to have chairs at the bar. WHAT? Honestly, I had no idea that Southern New Jersey was harboring such gems. A friend and I first discovered that there are wineries in NJ while in Hammonton, and boy are we glad we did. Found this place on the way back to Philadelphia from May's Landing thanks to Yelp (woo!). Friendly staff, FREE samples, and delicious, affordable wine. No way I could give it any less than 5 stars. I absolutly Love tis Winery. It is a jewel right off of Rt 40. Even if you don't know anything about wine, the staff is extremely helpful. They answer all of your questions. I suggest you get on their email mailing list. They have so many events, there is on for everyone's life style and taste. One of the best was the Ladies Night. I have always loved their "Sun" logo on their bottles, but, don't be mistaken, it's not just about logos here...the wine is delicious! They seem to always come out with new wines. Bellview Winery is a hidden gem in Atlantic County. The winery is a few minutes off Rt 40 down a country road. The grounds of the winery are very welcoming to everyone. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the wine and very friendly. The wine list varies from dry red to sweet wine. I'd give them 6 stars if I could because their wine ROCKS! I honestly don't drink that much, and hate many wine makers. I was floored when I not only found that I can enjoy anything they make, but also that anyone else I introduced the wines to were instantly hooked as well. You can honestly blow through like 5 to 10 bottles with a few friends in no time. It goes down so easy you don't even pay attention to how many glasses you've had. Awesome place! My friend and I did a groupon tour last Saturday. Although she didn't print out the ticket and the confirmatino number she brought wasn't enough to validate her purchase, the nice owner let us email it to him later that day. He also gave us a delicious deli recommendation (Vinnie's Italian Deli). Bellview has some tapas, but we were in a mood for serious food. Can't ask for more better customer service. We tasted assortments of reds & whites. Fiesta was recommended by the owner for making sangrias and I definitely see the potential. My friend purchased two bottles of that. I also got one and another one of Niagara, sweet, grape-y white. Their sweets are so easy and perfect for summer nights. The price is also awesome ($9-10 for sweets!) The tour was extremely informative. I'm from Cali and visited vineyards in NorCal & Finger lakes. But this was def the most fun one.
