I will never ever in life purchase a Cadillac or a prepaid maintenance plan or warranty from them…read moreever again everytime I deal with them for a major concern there's a problem even when I had purchased a third party extended warranty they treated me like garbage like I'm not a paying customer spending thousands for car and bs plans that they don't follow through on what dealership won't allow you to discuss thorough concerns with vehicle not just give u a sheet of paper with codes not a diagnosis without trying to upcharge you in hella fees I'm not paying $200 plus dollars for a diagnostic when I have a prepaid maintenance plan that includes you supposed to be inspecting my vehicle they barely put it up on a Lyft or even drove it around when I heard a lound sound took it to another shop just to confirm I had a wheel bearing and brakes and had them replaced at first another shop wasn't for sure which side was louder took and educated guess based on my video I recorded of the sound while driving it and all the dealer did was give me a sheet of paper with codes of all my tires I asked to speak to manager both David and Brian were very condescending and rude and disrespectful I never ever want to speak to them again I told Chris I wanted to file a formal complaint and how to go about doing that he just told me he agrees with the other shop most than likely but that's all Brian and David had to say and confirm it in my inspection of my vehicle and actually show me more then a 30 second video of nothing of the sorts not explain a single damn thing but tell me the inspection included in my prepaid maintenance plan is only a walk through when I know it to not be true I had this plan since 2016 and always have to remind them my plan states otherwise and not try to sell me bs and do their damn job o and by the way now they are saying they accept third party warranty so I renewed that but moving forward I know they won't fully follow their maintenance plans as soon as it ends next year I will not be going there for anymore services I'll have another shop using my services and my warranty can pay them for thorough work needed in the future Shame on you central Cadillac for ruining my dream car experience the last 10 yrs from hell

I purchased a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder from the lot, and almost immediately after driving off, the check engine light came on. Mike directed me to two separate shops to have the issue fixed, but neither shop was able to resolve the problem. During this time, I made it clear to Mike that I am pregnant, with children already depending on me, and I urgently needed a reliable vehicle or at least a loaner while I waited. His solution was to offer to "go half" on a rental, but even then, he cheated me out of his portion of the payment. When I realized the Nissan could not be repaired in a reasonable time, I asked for my money back. Instead of being straightforward, Mike attempted to return less than half of the $3,000 I had paid. He then tried to pressure me into taking an old Buick as a downgrade, which did not have the seating space I required for car seats. He promised that it would only be temporary until a Honda part came in, but when the part arrived, he refused to switch me into the vehicle as agreed. Mike also made unethical demands, telling me that if I wrote him two positive online reviews, he would "work something out." I refused to be manipulated into writing fake reviews in exchange for service I was already owed. I kept thorough records of our interactions--text messages and recorded phone calls--so that I would have proof of how the situation was handled. If anyone doubts this, I am willing to provide evidence directly. To make matters worse, I discovered that Das Auto was attempting to resell the Nissan Pathfinder after claiming it had been sent to auction. When I brought this up, I was immediately blocked. Shannon, another employee, was rude and unprofessional throughout the process, while Chad and Mike's brother were the only ones who attempted to handle things respectfully and fairly. Chad in particular tried to ensure I got my refund, but it was clear Mike was the one holding everything up. Mike even went as far as to hold onto a check from Credit Acceptance that was in my name, and I later learned he had opened my mail without my permission, which is illegal. Only after my lawyer contacted the bank did Mike suddenly call me and claim my check was ready. This entire ordeal was stressful, manipulative, and dishonest. If you are considering purchasing a car from Das Auto Carlot, I strongly urge you to reconsider. My experience showed a pattern of dishonesty, lack of accountability, and disrespect for customers' rights and needs. The only positive part of my interaction was with Chad and Mike's brother, who at least tried to do right by me. Unfortunately, the owner himself proved untrustworthy, and I would not recommend doing business with him

I told him loan companies do not make you buy warranties, and he insisted they did or she would not get loan. We decided just to get it and move on. He lied 4 times costing us like $7700 in damages A few days later I called "Credit Acceptance Corp" of which the representative assured me it was the dealer was the one that decided that and the insurance, and told her to cancel it. She understood and every penny. She stated the dealer would get all fee's from the payment of these. She also stated the dealer was the one to say how much money down as well. That was why he said they only accepted cash down payments so I would not cancel payment, so he obviously lied about that as well. Then I look at the total price value of the car, and he increased it from $10395 to $11995, or $1600+ higher without even telling us. I called and asked Omar A, the GM and son of owner, told me the value was increased by the finance company also because of her bad credit and they did it. NO, I called them and they told me already that it was you, not them. He offered to take car back, I said no way, you are not getting off that easily. Sad to know these people are in business doing this to all those unaware people, forcing $1000's in extra costs and fees for things not even needed. Last but not least, the rate of interest of %19.99 APR is negotiated by both dealer and finance company, of which the dealer pushes for as high as possible because they get a big portion of that. They have not heard the last from me!

She strongly suggests that if you are trying to rebuild your credit, go to the big chain dealerships... Liberty, Ganley, Motor Cars, etc. They have programs "special financing" for those who are trying to get a reliable car without the insane miles and who don't have the best credit. Dealerships like this will just put you in cars that are on their last leg. I wanted to see what they had and was disappointed in how management specifically treats potential customers. Bottom line, people need cars and may just take a chance with dealerships like these. Be careful.
