We got a sneak peak with Dineen with our lodging as the host gifted us a bottle of the 2023 Rose that was so delicious we fit a visit into our schedule. Because we went on a weekday we received a one on one experience with a lot of wineries but this was our favorite. It's a friendly vibe, we were able to speak with our wine educator about each of their wines at length, the winery itself and many of the vines/lots that have made up Dineen. We discussed the area, the names and many of the other wineries that were worth a visit. We love the wineries that allow to buy out a tasting & we happily went over the minimum. read more

First time here and we had a reservation for an hour. The grounds and tasting are lovely! Our tasting hosts were very knowledgeable and friendly. Such a nice a relaxing time we had. We would come back with friends and family. Definitely would recommend a reservation so that you can enjoy all they have to offer! read more

The staff is very welcoming and hospitable. I would consider myself a seasoned wine connoisseur, rating the wine as consistent or better compared to wine of the same price points. Dineen Vineyards just started off planting blocks in 2001. They provide fruit to other wineries and have some wines of their own. They have definitely made progress since then.. They just opened their beautiful new tasting room this past Spring, participated in Taste of Washington with wines that were made from their fruit and recognized in WINO. Driving in, it reminded me of a mix of a smaller sized winery in Napa Valley, yet with a Washington state farming touch to it with their barn, weather vanes and lab that welcomes you when you walk in (something you wouldn't find in Napa Valley). The grounds are very well taken care and beautiful, looking out onto the vineyard. It was picture perfect at sunset. Overall, it is gorgeous and welcoming. The owners, a retired couple from the West side of the state, are pleasant, personable, informative and just great people. I ended up buying a bottle of their wine, which was unique & flavorful. This is definitely a place to keep your eye on while they grow. I'm looking forward to seeing more from them. read more

This is a great place to try when touring the wineries in the area. If you use Facebook you can check their page if events to seen if the outdoor wood fire pizza oven is going. Typically you cam get it on Saturdays. We have been visiting this place for years when we pass through. They have some good wines and a great outdoor seating area. You can even bring your own snacks and enjoy. Great place to visit. Nearby is also Simcoe Creek Winery. Another great place to checkout that use to be Agate then briefly Covent. But now under new management and a nice place to visit. Both are great to checkout as they are very close to each other. We like the reds at both locations. read more

Incredibly poor service. Told them ahead of time we'd be bringing a small bus full of 20 people. The bus company gave us a bigger bus than we asked for and this winery was very upset about it. Despite the fact it was the same amount of people, and there was PLENTY of parking for more people, the winery would not get over it and treated everyone in our group terribly because of it. The woman working is a NIGHTMARE! She was incredibly rude before and when we came with 20 people yelled the f word to our bus driver. The owner would not own up to the fact their worker was rude and refused to apologize for her actions. Words cannot describe how horrible his experience was. They told us they don't care about the tasting room and it's not about revenue. So join them in not caring about the tasting room revenue and don't go. read more

Gorgeous setting, fantastic wines, great service and delicious food! It does take awhile for food to arrive so don't go if you're in a hurry. Instead, order food and enjoy wine tasting. Then, head outside to enjoy the view and the setting. After that, you can dine al fresco on some delicious pizza or meat and cheese platter. All in all a great day! read more

Once you get over the breathtaking beauty of the view - lush vineyards with a Mt. Rainier backdrop - you make it into the tasting room. The wines here are a must-try and available only in the tasting room. Some of the best in the Yakima Valley. There's not one that isn't delicious, but a particular favorite is the rosé. Perfect wine for a perfect scenery, with incredibly friendly pourers. Jenny the tasting room manager is just the best! read more

Dineen Vineyards was the second stop on our wine tasting tour of Zillah. We happened to visit on a Saturday when they had wood-fired pizza and grilled asparagus for sale. Our server was very friendly and offered to bring our tastings to a table in their tranquil outdoor seating area. We found a nice spot underneath a shade tree and made ourselves comfortable. The pizzas looked great, but we had eaten lunch a mere hour earlier. We wanted to try something though, so we ordered a plate of the grilled asparagus. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and had a great savory seasoning with a slight kick to it (apparently they sell the seasoning too). The dish complemented the wines we tried surprisingly well. While the quality of the wines was on par with other top wineries in the area (VanArnam, Cultura, J Bell), there wasn't any particular wine that we felt we had to have, so we didn't buy any bottles. Nevertheless, our server was nice enough to only charge us for one tasting. Based on the excellent service, tasty food, and relaxed atmosphere, I would definitely recommend visiting Dineen Vineyards for a tasting. read more

The setting was striking, vista views, landscaped settings,and rustic buildings. The service was great. I loved how they had a local Chef and his business making pizzas in the outdoor kitchen. Delish....His art of cooking pizza with asparagus, lions mane mushroom, and spices was an awesome eating experience. I am not happy with my self and my choices. I purchased a case of the 2016 Viognier Kamiakin. Not great. It has a strange pungent waxy taste. Almost like a spoiled taste. I hope this is the only one bottle we opened after our wine weekend. We opened tonight and I am highly disappointed by that purchase. I hope the other three cases of the other varietals are much better. The Viognier 2016 Kamiakin so far was not great. This winery is my absolute favorite and most highly recommended for a trip through Washington's wine country -- but shhhh, it's quite a secret and should be kept that way! It's secluded, removed from the closest tiny town of Zillah by a few miles -- no stoplights and barely a post office around, just acres and acres of apples, hops and vineyard. Dineen is exactly how you'd envision "small town Amercian" country charm. From the driveway is a gorgeous view of the mountain and sweeping orchards that surround the tasting room, which itself is intimate enough for not more than ten people. The set up makes for great conversation with Jenny who runs the tasting room, who alone is reason to go and come back again. The small interior opens up a welcome excuse to taste leisurely in the sun on the adjacent patio, where on weekends you might find the Guerra family cooking up wood fired pizzas from scratch in their outdoor oven. This is in every sense of the word a boutique tasting experience -- this winery produces not more than 250 cases per year, conducting most of its business selling its top quality grapes to other producers in the state. Dineen is truly a lovely, irreplicable experience, a hidden secret, and a must visit here in the valley. read more

One of our friends convinced us to give dineen a second chance after one of my friends was treated so poorly the previous year. We didn't want to go back because my friend wanted to pay for a tasting fee but he was asked if he had enough money to pay for the tasting fee. He was refused service. We Had not visited for a while but one of our friends said, " hey let's go, one of our friends works there. " We decided to give it a second chance, unfortunately after we had spent over $300 dollars on multiple wine bottles, pizza and asparagus, a lady called us out and told one of our friend she couldn't leave with the wine glass because it was crystal glass and worth over 15 dollars. We told her she would finish it and give it back. One of her friends was frustrated and gave her the money for the glass and the lady was so rude and told us never to go back. We assured her we will never be back. I may be wrong but I do believe this happened because our skin is brown. Everyone in our group felt discriminated.Everyone is entitled to their one opinion but I am brown and I will never go back because I felt uncomfortable by clients and staff members. If I could I would give them zero stars. read more
