Tasting fee is $10 for tasting 9 wines and the owner does a good job of pairing little (I mean millimeter little) foods that pair with the wine. It's a cool concept but at the end of my tasting I felt it wasn't worth the money. Before we started tasting I made it very clear with the owner that I don't drink red wines. My husband was ok with trying all the offerings. However when it came to tasting the reds, he wouldn't substitute with whites that I tried and kinda forced me to drink the reds. When I told him I don't want any reds, I was just told to skip my red tasting. So I pay $10 for my tasting and skip reds. What a rip off. I have visited over a 100 wineries in the country and never been treated like this. The wines were just ok, and pours were small. If you buy $20 worth of wine, one tasting is waived. The tasting room seemed very cluttered.

The ambiance of this winery leaves ALOT to be desired, their wines on the other hand, make up for it. We liked most all of their wines. They do a tiny food pairing with the wines that make a huge difference in the tasting. This place is worth the stop. We bought a case of wine, and when you sign up for their email you get discounts on your purchase. This was the best winery we visited in Zillah. I would recommend you visit here.

It's sketchy to drive up to and walking in. The owners are very nice and pleasant. The wine is OK. If you are a seasoned wine taster you probably want to go someplace else.

After a long day driving this was such a pleasant surprise. Down to earth and not pretentious like many wineries can be. Our tastings were outside under a shade tree in delightful weather, & we had our picnic dinner in the same spot! Good wines at a great value, and we bought a case of both B's blend & Sangiovese to make weeknights better! Their dog, Teddy, was a wonderful companion for us & our dog while we strolled the vineyards after dinner.

Upon driving into the parking lot of the winery you are greeted by a metal dragaon and chickens roaming freely. When walking up the ramp to the tasting room, a dog sitting in front of the door greets you and a cat is roaming around looking for attention. Once within the tasting room you are greeted by something you don't see at every winery. This winery offers small amounts of food that is paired specifically with wines that you are tasting. The winery calls it "SIP, SIP, BITE, SIP.... DUMP". Definitely a cool idea, but I'm ok with just having the crackers in between tastes. In addition, they offer for you to take the recipes of their Artichoke-Crab dip and Bleu-Cheese dip, some of what they offer with their wine, to take with you. Pumpkin custard was paired with one of their desert wines, Angelica G. The last wine, Botrytis Riesling, you taste is paired with a roasted marshmellow. -1 for the owner hovering over you and giving second by second instructions on how to roast a marshmellow. The lady who was helping provide tasting was letting others have fun with the roasting of marshmellows, one actually caught the marshmellow on fire and they all laughed about it. To me, that's part of what wine tasting should be.. having fun, being relaxed & being comfortable while experiencing the wine. The wine tasting is free, except for the last one (Botrytis Riesling) which they ask for a $1 donation to support a group of kids going to school in Nicaragua. Good cause.. +1 In all, there are 6 wines they offer for tasting, 5 of which are free. -1 for the owner pressuring, trying to upsell & hovering when you are trying to decide which wines you are going to purchase. I can read what you offer, you do have things printed. Overall, I'd give this place a 3.5. They do have a great concept with pairing the foods with the wine. Wonderful thought about helping kids go to school and they also have some good wine, I walked out with 2 bottles. Most of the reason why I wouldn't give this place a 4 or above was the customer service / attitude of the owner.

When you walk up to the tasting room you are greeted by a HUGE chicken, I wanted to call it a cock but it wasn't a cock it was just a chicken but it was HUGE I tell you HUGE. It kind of scared me but I didn't let on, I just kept on walking, after taking a picture of it, and headed inside to taste. The cool thing about Paradisos del Sol Winery is how they do their tastings. Sip, Sip, Bite, Sip...Dump! They offer six free tastes a Rose, Riesling, Under 10 Buck Red, Paradisos Red, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Angelica G a dessert wine similar to a Gewurztraminer. I tried five only because of the bite part of their tastings. I tried their Riesling which was too sweet for me but went well with the artichoke crab dip they provided, so good I had to bite a second time. Next up was the Under 10 Buck Red, which went with the Blue Cheese Dip and the two went very well together, it was a light every day of the week red and you really can't beat the price. After that we moved on to the Paradisos Red which is a blend of Lemberger and Cab Sauvignon and was rather tasty, this too went with the blue cheese dip and some how a bottle of it ended up in the car. Next up was their cabernet sauvignon which was also paired with the blue cheese dip and I didn't mind one bit because the dip was lovely and complemented each sip. The last wine I tasted and only tasted because I wanted to try the flaming peaches that weren't flaming was the Angelica G, way too sweet and thick for me but the non-flaming flaming peaches were delicious. I left with recipes for each dip and the peaches and some wine, along with a picture of a giant chicken. Definitely a place to stop at when ever you are in Zillah and doing the Rattlesnake Hills wine trail.

I also learned so much about fruit, when its the best time to get it in the stores and/or from a fruit stand- their knowledge was amazing. This farm has been operating and serving communities in Seattle WA since the 80's, that tells you a lot about a business. Wow The couple who own this place are just the best and their personally brings the best vibes in this place. We went for my besties birthday and then I came back for my birthday and it was AMAZING. OH, and then we went to Spring Barrel, and they blew the whole experience out of the water. They had Zac, who is not only cute/single, and brings his own set up, his voice is amazing. The whole crowd was pleasant, happy, and ready to party!! (Far from it, but kind of...for Zillah). Not only did they have the cutest outdoor seating, but they also have this deck that sits right where the sun goes down, in the Spring time. As many of you know, the summer time in the Yakima and Seattle are longer than many other states and cities. The sun doesn't go down until about 9:00pmishhhhh, which is nice for hanging out. So the grapes are different and the fruit, and the people too. They have a delicious variety of wine, wine tasting, and bottles to purchase, if you're looking to wine taste, add this one to your stops, you will thank me on Yelp later. Have a great time, and tell them Daisha sent you!!!

Loved this gorgeous winery! The view is absolutely breath taking…read more Reservations are recommended especially on weekends as this place gets very busy. They have an onsite kitchen and is a very popular spot for wine and lunches. They are dog friendly on the patio only. You get to taste about 8 wines for $30 Or fee is waived with a purchase of any two bottles. Tasting did not disappoint from their whites to red. They have a variety for all taste buds. I loved all their Cabs. They have a mix of 100% Cab to some with Merlot and Cab Franc. All were delish and as I was tasting I kept thinking of food items these would pair well with. Of course we purchased half a case variety of red wines. Venue is super clean, great vibe and super friendly staff. Darcy and Alex were both amazing. We will definitely be going back here when in the area.

I absolutely adore this winery: the wine, the space, the people, the food, and the community…read more The Wine: The wines are consistently amazing and are made to be aged, without the usual high price tag that comes with that. I like bold, flavorful wine, and they have that in spades. I thought I hated Merlot, for being generally weak, but Terra Blanca's Merlot is fantastic. I thought I only liked red wine, but their Albarino is now my go-to summer white wine. I thought Rose was too sugary of a wine, but their Rose has incredible flavor without heft. I'm an enduring fan of their Block 8 Syrah, but the Cab Sauv is a close second. The Space: It's gorgeous. The building is beautiful, the grounds are well-maintained, the vineyard (which you can tour at some of their events) feels old-world-meets-tech, the cellars are amazing, and everything feels welcoming. Like, I don't just want to go here, I want to spend time here. The People: The employees are wonderful: welcoming, knowledgeable, happy, humble, and it never feels like they're just trying to sell you something. They're honest and upbeat, even at times when I *know* they must be feeling rushed or stressed. It makes the whole place feel like hanging out with friends and neighbors (but in a classy way). This is *not* the kind of winery where they pour, recite a litany about the varietal, and walk away. This is the kind of winery where you can walk in and say "I know nothing about wine" and they'll be excited to take you wherever your curiosity about wine takes you. The Food: I've eaten at the Thursday happy hours, at buffet banquets, and at a tasting/pairing event. Each time the food has been delicious, unique, and well-paired. And it's all from scratch, locally grown & grazed, etc. even their charcuterie boards are lovely (and a lot...you will not leave hungry). I recommend trying the flatbread pizzas off their wood-fired grill. Oh, and the menu changes quarterly, so I've yet to get bored with anything. The Community: In addition to this place feeling like a community, and growing one with their wine clubs and virtual tasting group, they're involved in the Tri-Cities community. I love when local small businesses support each other and non-profits in the area! They have regular events and banquet fundraisers for orgs like Children's Developmental Center and TROT. Oh, the prices? I'd call them good. High enough to convey the quality, but low enough to be approachable even for people who are just starting to try wine. And they do a lot of sales and discounts throughout the year. The tasting room prices are spot-on, which keeps Terra Blanca feeling inclusive. TL;DR: Tasty wine at affordable prices, great customer service, welcoming atmosphere, excellent food, fun events
