However, when I walked in they were so delightful and present. They helped me with all of my selections because I quite literally knew not what I wanted. In the end, I have such a hefty bag because I wanted to eat everything at home. It smells delicious. When I arrived home, I dug in. Yum yum and more yum. It was so so good. I don't remember what I had but I do remember that the fries were tasty. A little bit more on the potatoey side than I like but still very tasty indeed. I ate those in the car so there are no pictures of them. The meat in my bowl was very very well seasoned and tender... They also gave me a cookie which was pretty good. I arrived and was informed that it was press day for them, so in addition to the Yelpers there was other food influencers and food bloggers there to enjoy there soft opening as well. The email initially said it would be a food tasting. So I was pleasantly surprised to hear that we would each get a burger and side of fries/onion rings and a drink. That's a pretty generous offer for a business that's not even open yet. Thank you for that! Food- I decided on there recommendation the peanut butter pickle and bacon burger. Which sounds like a lot. But after hearing that the peanut butter was more of a peanut sauce, and it was not heavy handed I went with it. I love pickles on my burger so that was a win. I took out my bacon after I got it- I forgot to tell them to exclude that. The burger itself was luke warm and grew cold kind of quick. It was a good flavor overall, but not something I would want to run back to try again. I decided to take it home to eat for later while hot. I think the bread to meat ratio could be re worked a lil, or even changing there bread type of all together to complement the meat more. I prefer my buns and meat hot, not just the meat, lol. I haven't seen that flavor available at other boba shops. It wasn't traditional, lacking the foundational pate, or bright flavors of fresh jalapenos but was still pretty good. I can understand catering to less initiated palate. The baguette was soft and slightly crispy on the outside. It seems their thing is the "broth" different asian soups paired with different asian noodles, however we didn't get to try any of that. The vibe caters to a specific anime/manga crowd. If you're into anime/manga sticker collages, then this feels like your hang out spot. There were a handful of vendors with their booths lining the walls. It wasn't clear if this was a unique event, but it seemed like this was a regular occurrence.

Yelp thinks it is. Yelp is dead, dead wrong. So let me elaborate. I can't handle how obsessed the out-crowd (it's like an in crowd but with sh** taste in food) is with Montrose food, when it's really overpriced and bad, much like Brooklyn, except Brooklyn invented Brooklyn hipster food (or did San Francisco or Los Angeles, or does it matter). Innovative? Yes in a way all the way, despite copying itself, but it's not real food. It never will be. Hipster food will fade away like bad fashion, whereas real food is more often procured from a less fashionable area. See, real food that has existed for centuries and has been perfected over time, and while it will evolve and adapt and improve itself in ways, it will last forever. It's a shame that the richest group are the loudest on Yelp, on the internet, in life, and thereby influence all the other groups to follow their super-lame rich tastes, and a so those who control Yelp lead everyone to where that kind of food is... which is here, the Heights, and whatever... but some of us know what real food is. And it's not really in Montrose. With a few exceptions. Looking at you Hot Bagel Shop! So for real food, leave Montrose far behind. Try Spring Branch, Chinatown, Alief, Sharpstown (Indiatown), and so on, and so on. However, I don't like that male cats are always trying to mont Starlight. They don't even bring her flowers first. Not even a Rose. Bellaire may be the best neighbourhood in Houston for food, but when it comes to culture, Montrose has to be right up there too. It's a combination of the rich, the hipsters, and the LGBT community, with plenty of crossover of course. This makes for a very eclectic and enjoyable neighbourhood full of awesome and interesting people, although traffic can suck (but not as much as you'd imagine) and prices can be high (but not everywhere). I had the pleasure of living in this district for awhile, on and off, and it was a truly wonderful part of town to reside in. In terms of food, here are some things you must try: B & T Cafe for the best Banh Mi and Viet Iced Coffee Hot Bagel Shop for some of the best bagels, baked goods and kolaches ever - (try the Jalapeno Sausage and the Smoked Sausage) Lankford Grocery for the greatest hamburgers in Texas Niko Niko's for good Gyros Kung Fu Tea on Yoakum for Lemon Black Tea, or Teahouse if you prefer And by the way, my nickname for my equipment is "Mont", and just now, Mont rose.

In the last three decades, the population has doubled in India, but that is also true for many animals. Remarkably, the population of elephants, rhinos, lions and tigers has also doubled. The elephants in this migration are made of lantana camara. Lantana camara is an invasive weed. A creative use of something invasive to create community unity, teach others about elephants and clear the weeds to make more room for the elephants to roam while making something so impressive and educational.
