I've ordered this iced coffee a couple of times before and it's always been great, which is why I came back again today after an appointment. Unfortunately, this visit wasn't quite the same experience. The drive-through wait was longer than expected, and the espresso tasted over-extracted, making the drink noticeably bitter. That said, the cold foam was still delicious and definitely the highlight. I'm hoping this was just an off day, because I've really enjoyed this drink in the past and would love to see it return to that same quality. read more

The brownie was $7, but it was HUGE. And it was delicious. It took James and me like 4 hours to get through it. The vibes are so immaculate, the type of place you'd find in Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls reference). Also, the employees are SO SO SO nice; they play a great hand in the cozy environment. It is fall, so they have it decorated, and they have cornhole out for patrons to play. I see myself coming here to do work again. Boulder Creek is a cute coffee shop, and we enjoyed our visit! Customer service was top notch, and we love the cozy vibe. There are plenty of places to sit (both inside and outside, upstairs and downstairs). This is a great place for a date, book club, catch-up with friends, etc. We enjoyed the white chocolate mochas. Lots of indoor seating and an outdoor porch which gives a southern charm to a renovated home of the 1930's. Nice sandwiches and the latest latte's , teas,cold brews and tradition coffee drinks. What makes the space so inviting is there are private rooms upstairs that can be rented for small groups. The staff were very friendly. This is a small place but very cozy. They have a variety of coffees and somme teas. They also have seasonal drinks. I went on a Thursday evening and they were super busy. There were only 2 in staff so it took a while for our drinks to come out. They have a wrap around porch and a nice lawn area with chairs and a swing. On the inside, they have board games and little nooks with some extra tables. The staff is friendly. The place sits right where the parking garage is. Super easy to find. They also have a few spots to park in. I would like to go and try some other drinks. I can't remember what I had but it was a yummy, seasonal ice drink, not too sweet. Stopped in with family after an outing and thought it was neat they had a drive thru option. We ordered inside to go and received great customer service. They were definitely busy so I appreciated Alexa answering all of my questions I loved the open concept and seeing the drinks being made. I ordered an iced latte with caramel and vanilla and almond milk (pics were pre swirl lol) and although it could've been sweeter I enjoyed it. I gave 4 stars because they didn't have cold foam or whipped cream. My boyfriend and cousin both ordered the Creek Breeze drinks (tea, refresher style drinks) that were a 10/10. Both drinks pictured are their smallest size (12 oz.). The space is welcoming and they have free wifi. What a quaint coffee shop! I went on a Monday morning and school just started so it was quiet, but from what I can tell, there is a lot of seating and plenty of space to navigate around the shop. I think even heard there is space up stairs. I got a lavender latte and a funfetti muffin. I docked one star because the muffin was undercooked and pretty noticeable. The muffin did raise but once you saw the middle there was a huge gap (probably deflated) and the middle was raw dough. I told the staff and they let me pick out a replacement which I appreciate. So I got a sprinkle cookie. For some reason, all I can taste was just sugar. I think it needed something like some salt to balance. The coffee was really good tho. They had board games so we played connect four. I like how this place is conveniently next to the parking deck. read more

This is the perfect study spot or even first date spot. Usually very quiet and a wonderful selection of baked goods. Their baked goods are seasonal and fairly dietary restriction friendly - especially gluten free. Their coffee is extremely high quality. My favorite part about this place is the house itself! Such a cute and homey place for coffee and food! You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you. There are tables outside along the balcony, inside, and even upstairs. There was a lot of people on the weekend but you shouldn't have trouble finding a spot. I saw a lot of people studying and using their laptops, so it'd be a great spot for that as well as having a sit-down meal! I got a peach matcha lemonade which was really good! I'm not a huge fan of matcha but it was an interesting combo. I also got the banana bread which they offered to warm up, it was a humongous slice and tasted great with the toasty chocolate chips. I really wanted to like this place. The setting was a cozy lawyers office space that has been repurposed into a coffee shop. I went there with a group of friends for the first time and ended up waiting almost an hour just for a coffee and sandwich. When the food finally arrived the ham and cheese sandwich was delivered cold. The bread was dry and ham or cheese lacked any flavor. I thought maybe the coffee would redeem itself but the coffee came out lukewarm and had to be warmed up twice. Until the food quality improves I will not be returning back anytime soon. read more

Looking for a fun tasty place and this is it! Great selection of breakfast, lunch, and beverages? Stop here! Fun fact is that I'm allergic to tree nuts - no problem! They checked to make sure my overnight oats and latte were tree nut free and offered suggestions to ensure safety. I would have preferred peanut butter (peanuts are legumes not tree nuts but can be processed in a packaging plant with tree nuts so not always a safe option) and suggested we sub berries which is terrific. I also would have preferred a mocha but changed to a regular latte just to be sure for the same reasons as previously mentioned Rustic decor depicts the local history and is refreshing with lots of windows to brighten the space. The deck area was occupied so I found a table inside that allows me to look outside and I still get the fresh air. Parking tip: their parking area is on S Chestnut Street so you have to enter from E Pike Street even though your GPS may suggest otherwise. read more

The place is located in downtown Lawrenceville. It is a very cute, quaint coffee shop with charm. I love the wraparound porch and tables on the porch as well as inside. Also love the swing, hammock, beautiful garden around the building. It's the details that make the place charming. It's a good spot for working, studying, catching up with loved ones. The menu offers coffee/tea, breakfast, lunch, and baked goods. I've tried The Godfather sandwich with side of salad and cold brew coffee. It's good, but not crazy good that is worth $16ish for lunch. I also tried their cheesecake after lunch which was the best/highlight of my meal- so rich and creamy. I highly recommend. Cons: (1) I think my lunch was pricey at around $16 for my lunch of coffee, sandwich and side of salad (not including cheesecake). It wasn't worth it. (2) Extremely slow service- my main, biggest complaint about this place. The line is long and moves very slow. They only have one person in the kitchen, one handling coffee station, and one taking orders. It seems like they need MORE people in the kitchen to get orders out quickly and faster computer at checkout because it takes a lifetime to order. I'm all for small, local businesses- absolutely. But waiting in line for about 30-40 minutes to order food is exhausting. Waiting another 30-40 minutes for food to arrive is another exhausting moment. I want this place to stay, absolutely!!! It totally should stay. But please fix the obvious issues because who has all day for one meal? read more

Very cute little spot! I love that I am able to sit and work on my laptop. I had the chocolate chip muffin which was okay. I also had a cold brewed coffee which was not so great. The environment and decore I truly loved but gave this 3 stars due to the quality of my food/drink. Also, it seemed the woman working the register was flustered by the amount of orders she had and it was a bit uncomfortable. I think this location has more potential on the inside to provide comfort and uniqueness. The coffee is fantastic. I rarely spend fewer than 2 hours here and can't stop with just one cup. My favorite are the pour overs--so rich and satisfying. But the quick brew is also solid. And don't get me started on the flavorful iced lattes. I like their cookies and the overnight oats, but sometimes the baked goods are less fresh than expected. I might downgrade this rating to a 4.5 for that reason alone. The atmosphere can't be beat. Friendly, attentive staff, who remember same-day names (when I reorder and reorder!) all in a 125-year old house. During the worst seasons of COVID, some of the tight spaces and maskless customers were a bit of a ding, but I love the place. A favorite for my 3 daughters, too. I am in love with this place and if I didn't have other obligations, I'd hang out here all day. This venue is in one of Lawrenceville's historic homes so the ambiance is fantastic. Dark wood, high ceilings, and large white ceramic mugs contribute to a cozy coffee-house feel. I ordered a dirty chai, a chai tea with a shot of espresso. It came beautifully frothy and filled to the rim. I'm still deciding if I like the flavor combo but the preparation was done well and their baked goods looked yummy. If you're dining in, they give you a number and bring your order to your table. I ordered the following: The Godfather Sandwich $8.99 Nutella Capp (with oat milk) $4.25 I wanted to try their avocado toast, but they ran out of avocados, so I ordered the Godfather sandwich instead. The Godfather is a panini with chicken, parmesan, muenster, marinara, and oregano, came with a side of potato chips. The sandwich was big and had plenty of chicken. Filling and flavorful. The shop is unfortunately always extremely busy, some of the couches/seats are damaged, and the baristas sometimes get the orders wrong because they are socializing. The prices are pretty high. The place was really quaint and the location is good. I was in town for an athletic event and was wanting a great coffee. I'm a coffee snob, so I'm also quite critical. I ordered my go to, an almond milk cappuccino. It was probably the worst espresso I've had. it was like the poured the almond milk from fridge into into my espresso and warmed it up.
