Specialties
At Dinglewood Design & Press, we specialize in luxury letterpress printing and fine paper design. Combining historic 19th-century printmaking techniques with modern aesthetics, we create heirloom-quality paper goods for life’s most celebrated moments.
For our bespoke clients, we design fully custom wedding suites and provide true white glove service. This includes hand-drawn venue illustrations, custom monogram illustrations, and matching day-of stationery and signage to ensure every detail of your event is seamlessly coordinated.
To serve a range of timelines, we also offer pre-designed template collections that deliver our signature letterpress craftsmanship with added efficiency. Beyond wedding suites, we offer personal and social stationery, including fine custom note cards, personalized stationery, holiday cards, and birth announcements.
Every piece is hand-printed on antique cast-iron presses dating back to the late 1800s, using plush 100% cotton papers and hand-mixed inks that create a deep, letterpress impression.
History
Established in 2012.
Founded in 2012 by Christy Etheredge, Dinglewood Design & Press began as a small, one-woman operation in a garage in the historic Dinglewood neighborhood of Midtown Columbus, Georgia. Yearning for a hands-on creative outlet, Christy fell in love with letterpress printing after taking a holiday card class and diving headfirst into the historic art form.
What started with a single 120-year-old press has grown into a boutique letterpress printing studio powered by a team of passionate artisans. Today, we use multiple antique 1800s printing presses, luxurious cotton papers, and hand-mixed inks to craft bespoke wedding invitations, social stationery, and custom paper goods for clients worldwide.
While our studio has expanded, our mission remains unchanged: preserving the art of letterpress printing while creating timeless, handcrafted pieces that celebrate life's most joyful moments.
Meet the Business Owner: Christy E.
Hello! I’m Christy, founder of Dinglewood Design & Press. My passion for letterpress printing began over a decade ago when I pulled my very first impression on a 19th-century press. There is something magical about taking raw cotton paper, hand-mixed ink, and historic cast-iron machinery to create a piece of art you can physically feel. In a fast-paced, digital world, I am deeply passionate about preserving this slow, intentional craft. Whether we are hand-drawing a venue illustration for a bespoke wedding suite or printing personal stationery, my team and I pour our hearts into creating tangible keepsakes that celebrate your life's most meaningful moments.
