Beer and cider flight
Victoria S.

I really enjoyed my first experience at Dingo Dog Brewing. They have many interesting beer and cider options - including a few that sound kinda weird, but somehow work! There were a lot I wanted to try, so I got a flight and enjoyed everything. I'd say the beers are as good as or better than most of the breweries I've tried in Chapel Hill/Carrboro. The place has indoor and outdoor seating (with heaters), and is very dog-friendly. They even had a pile of dog beds inside. They don't serve food, but you can have it delivered there.

How bad this brewing can be? I am speechless. It's just bad. I don't know why people come here. Yes it's a community based breweries but that doesn't grant the bad taste of their beer. Terrible. I will nicely leave a 2 stars here.

Dingo Dog is a nano brewery in Carrboro. I love the mission, unfortunately I did not love the beer. It's a non-profit so the proceeds fund grants to no-kill animal rescues in NC. I tried a flight, you get your choice of 4 beers or ciders. I chose the Buster Brown Ale, Bark Ruffalo Hazy IPA, Lucky Dog Mosaic IPA and Ordained Opossum Saison. The names are super cute. If I had to chose a favorite, it would be the brown ale. There is only outdoor seating available during COVID-19 but they have heaters! I need to visit again to try their ciders.

Honey saison and Old Man IPA

GREAT BEER! This is just a great all-around place to hang out with friends and family, with an excellent ambiance and top-tier brews. I had the honey saison and my buddy had the delicious Old Man Marlowe IPA. This place was a match to Incendiary and Red Oak in terms of quality - truly world-class stuff. This has just become a beer destination for me!

Lager and Honeysuckle Cider

We stopped at this spot right before a dinner down the street, and it was the perfect place for a quick drink. All seating right now is outside, but it is quite limited for how busy this place can be. On a Saturday night, we saw people taking their drinks across the street to sit because there was too few seats right outside. The staff who helped us was incredibly personable and entertaining! She made us laugh as we ordered our drinks and brought dogs around to different people around the brewery. Our drinks were pretty good. I got the Honeysuckle Cider which was very a very mild flavor that wasn't too sweet. It was very refreshing. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for a chill place to hang out and drink with friends. There are plenty of dogs people bring, so get ready to make some furry friends. If you have family coming into town, take them here!

Cider slushy

Love Dingo Dog & so excited to have a great new brewery in Chapel Hill/Carrboro! First things first, I love their beer. They have lots of creative and delicious flavors (fig & rosemary?? King cake??), and I love the variety they offer to-go and on tap. Second, the outdoor space is awesome for a covid-safe outing! The tables are well-spaced and they take their covid safety rules seriously. Third, the mural inside is adorable (no I'm not biased because my two dogs are included...). Definitely recommend that anyone in the CH/Carrboro area check out this new spot!

We love taking our pup to Dingo Dog! The beer is delicious, and there are many options. If you don't like beer, they have cider and locally made kombucha too!

A mulled cider, delicious stout, & super dog friendly!

So far disappointed in the recent changes at the local thrift shop. It used to be a place where you…read morecould rummage through lightly organized sections and discover items for art projects, the garden, or furnishing a home after a move. Finding a small project or a new piece of clothing always felt satisfying, and the store had a personality of its own. Now it feels like a cookie-cutter version of many other thrift stores. The selection is limited, the sense of discovery is gone, and the prices are surprisingly high for a thrift shop. Even the costume jewelry appears inexpensive in quality yet still overpriced. I'm sorry to make the comparison, but the earlier experience there was genuinely much better.

The worst section is where the DVDS and CDs and electronics are located. One big hot mess.. boxes with cds that are dirty, completely disorganized...wires all over the place...I don't know what that new slim guy does back there but it's horrible. All the sections look neglected but for the books..that is the one very nice area TENDED BY VOLUNTEERS so there's a problem here. Work ethic seems obsolete along with some of the very moody sales clerks.

The jeweler did the work without giving me either. I didn't like that he took it upon himself to decide what I'd like without talking with me as agreed. I did like this ring. The repaired ring is another story. I asked that the prongs be tipped because the stone was loose. The repair took weeks longer than promised. When I got the ring back, I saw that the jeweler had again made a decision without consulting me first. Instead of tipping the prongs as agreed, he created a new setting and a new leaf probably because the ring was damaged during the repair. The new leaf did not match the original, and the jeweler insisted it was the original, all while the original leaf and leftover gold from the repair sat in a bag on the counter between us. Worse, the setting was crooked. The jeweler insisted it had always been like that. I told him I'd worn the ring for 40 years and it was never like that. I spent six months trying to find someone to repair the damage, but no one would touch it. Finally, a friend of the jeweler's convinced me to take it back to him, and he agreed to repair it free of charge. The setting was straightened somewhat, but it has since crumbled, and the ring is no longer wearable.
