Good evening! Tonight I ordered for carry out from Dino's Pizza *Rawr* like a dinosaur. My experience was good from the phone call to my dinner table! In that paper wrapper was a real hot and ready pizza. It was a large with half mushroom and half pepperoni and a whole bunch of cheese yum. The pepperoni was nicely greasy and crisp just the way I like it and the mushrooms were good & fresh enough for us to enjoy tonight. It was delicious, all the ingredients came together perfectly to make a beautiful pie. I WILL get my 20 Dino coupons so I can have a free pizza, cause who doesn't love free haha. A fifth star would of been added it's just they're skimpy on the toppings, the picture is self explanatory and this isn't the first time I ordered their pizza either. The sauce is the best in Indiana and the meat toppings are quality and flavorful. They have an outstanding, (what I call a pub style pizza) thin/regular crust that is cooked perfectly with a great outer crust crunch. I will continue to order but I'll request extra cheese and sausage. Oh by the way ask for extra sauce cause it's a free topping. I can drink that shit. read more

Pizza that was definitely worth the drive even with inclement weather. We tried their specialty pizza: sausage, green pepper and onion - the veggies still had their crunch and that is perfect by me. The pineapple and canadian bacon had a good blend of sweet and savory. My favorite was the sausage pizza. It was super cheesy and you never took a bite without hitting a piece of sausage. Crust was 10 sheets of paper thin and had a home baked taste. We met the owner, Jqline. First time in this town, I would never go to this place to eat again. Buffet price got me into this place, I brought my 6 year old and was pressured to get the buffet when all my daughter wanted was cheese pizza. No buffet price for cheese pizza was $6 vs $8. I didnt want to waste food since my daughter couldnt finish the food so I wanted to take 2 slices to go. I am charged a waste fee with 1 hr left into buffet time being over. If that was the case, I would've forced her to finish her 2 slices of cheese pizza. Perhaps it's just the mood of this town that makes me feel awkward. read more

My favorite pizza restaurant. I've eaten their pizza as far back as the Late 50s. They originally had their restaurant on Indianapolis Boulevard. About a half a block south of Strack And Van TILs. This was way back when. Still my favorite to this day. Their chili is also fantastic. Their sausage is homemade. Great taste and Flavor. Semper Fi. read more

I just tried Dino's for the first time today, though I had heard of it several years ago, and I must say it was good. Being a true Pizza lover and fanatic I know it's not the best I've had nor the best in the region, but I would definately suggest trying it. Heck, it seemed really affordable too. It was only 17-something for an Extra-Large Sausage and Mushroom/ Half Pepperoni. All the toppings were tasty and the sauce was good also. I will definately order from there again. Maybe it will be even better next time. I've noticed that among the pizza places in my area. They sometimes taste different from one time to the next,and sometimes they get tastier each time too. read more

There isn't much good to say about Dino's. I've had quite a few terrible experiences that have made me stay away from here for good. I've ordered the Italian beef from them before and found a dead spider on it, yes a spider, fully intact, how appetizing.Their pizza is very plain and just terrible. It's usually underdone and the sauce wasn't even sauce, it looks like an orange paste. The sausage tasted unseasoned and smelled and tasted spoiled. I've called and complained before and the owner seemed uncaring and unapologetic, as if it were my problem that they cannot serve decent food. Pretty sad that this place is such a "staple" of Whiting restaurants. read more

Stopped by for a pie on the way home. Grabbed a medium pepperoni for 10.99 and was quite pleased. Wish the crust was a bit crispier, but that could have been the ten minute drive that caused it. Overall, the ingredients tasted good and it was ready when I got there. I keep reading they do a lunch buffet and I saw at the store it was just under seven bucks. Can't beat that. Best pizza in Whiting, and an all around great pizza place, especially for the money. Other places in the area are significantly more expensive for the same size pizzas, and Dino's quality is often better than the others. The pickup times are almost always reasonable, 20-25 minutes at the most on weekdays, and a little longer on weekends. The regular pizza is good, but I'd recommend trying the deep dish at least once. It takes a little longer, but is well worth the wait. I haven't had better deep dish in whiting, though Edwardos in Munster might have it beat for best deep dish in NW Indiana. read more

I've been eating dino's sincevi was a kid and will continue as long as I live around here. 17 bucks for a medium pizza, cheese garlic bread and a delicious roast beef sandwich, not many places can hang with those prices while maintaining the quality. Great food at a Great price! when i'm a little strappped for cash (just about all the time lol), but still want good food service i will be calling Dinos!
