This is a pretty popular lunch buffet in Hammond. They have a lot more than just salad, pizza and pasta. There are several hot entrees, wings, chili, sausage and peppers, etc. The price is more than reasonable (less than $10) for what you get.

    pasta and chicken

Nastiest place ever pasta was literally frozen disgusting they really want to charge that much and couldn't at least put enough sauce on the pasta taste like store bought sauce will never go there again if i could rate 0 stars i would and i never rate places even fast food spots had better pasta then that

We came for my nieces birthday. We ordered 2 appetizer platters, 3 orders of fries, a stuffed cheese pizza, sausage mushroom thin crust and pepperoni thin crust pizzas. Appetizers were okay, nothing special. A few us felt the pizza was greasy and undercooked. This is how I like my thin crust pizza, but the crust was so soggy and mushy. Definitely was disappointed!

Despite the sign to wear gloves they didn't!!

Had a large group in the back room and the waitress was rude and yelled at us. The woman at cash register kept rolling her eyes at us. They blame the general manager that she was watching us on her camera and kicked us out because my 65 year old mom had brought in some fudge! They kicked us out because of the fudge! Funny thing is I took pictures of them making salads without gloves even though there is s staff sign that says must wear gloves. We will never go back.

The only reason it's not 5-star is that some items can take a while to get re-filled, and the salad bar could use a few more options.

On a recent visit, however, both of our pasta's (Alfredo and Angel Hair Pasta w/ Veggies) were in need of salt or some type of seasoning. My husband's just needed salt but mine was totally bland and tasteless. I also learned that the Grilled Vegetables, a long time offering has been removed from the menu. This, combined with the fact that a long-time favorite (Smoked Salmon Pasta in a Lemon Cream Sauce) was removed years ago, has been most disappointing and the restaurant no longer is of much interest to me. On the plus side, there are still some good appetizers and entrees and the portions are very generous, a major plus since I was able to take my entree home, add some additional vegetables and cheese, and season it w/ a variety of fresh herbs. But, if you want some of the best authentic Italian food anywhere, try Guiseppe's in Schererville, IN.

We were there on Sunday, August 16, 2026. Had the pan fried goat cheese (always good), meals were all good. One of my new favorites "branzino" was prepared nicely, but I thought it was a little dry. Drinks were delicious, rum punch, special margarita, (yumm) still not crazy about the smaller martini glasses and higher price (too much). And my other pet peeve, those cheap___ napkins, for a fine dining restaurant, upgrade the napkins. Anyway, Not a bad appetizer and the best tiramisu anywhere ! Thats all for now, enjoy................

Ambiance: The dining room is very open and bright. You can see through the divider between the Fiori dining room and the Truth bar (separate menu experience) next to the dining room. That was different. We plan to visit again for the Truth experience. For Fiori, I'd repeat the calamari for certain and possibly the stuffed shells.

I also understand that servers sometimes make assumptions about guests. However, every customer deserves the same level of attention and service, regardless of what a server thinks the tip may be. According to the receipt provided by the manager, I believe our server's name was Jaden. Unfortunately, she never introduced herself and only checked on our table once throughout the meal. Most of the service we received actually came from the manager on duty. I found myself repeatedly getting up to ask for things until I finally asked Jaden, if she was our server. I hoped that would prompt a little more attention to our table, but it didn't. Instead, she remained focused on another table that had arrived before us and was still there after we left. I watched her check on them four or five times while our table was largely ignored. Whether intentionally or not, it certainly felt as though she had decided our table wasn't worth her time. If that was her assumption, then in this particular case she was correct about one thing: my husband and I will not tip for bad service. I have no problem rewarding excellent service, but I also believe tips should reflect the quality of the experience provided. Rather than leaving money for poor service, I chose to give the cash I had to the busboys, who were attentive and helpful throughout the evening. The reason I'm sharing this review is because I don't want one bad experience to overshadow what has otherwise been a good restaurant. I've dined here several times before, live nearby, and have always enjoyed my visits. That's why this experience stood out so much. I'm willing to give the restaurant another chance because I know the level of service they're capable of providing. My hope is that when I return, every guest will receive the same level of attention and hospitality, regardless of assumptions about who they are or what they may tip. Great service should be consistent, and that's what keeps customers coming back. One final thought: tipping culture only works when both sides do their part. GUESTS should recognize and reward good service, and SERVERS should provide quality service to every table. When assumptions are made on either side, EVERYONE loses.
