This is the best experience I've had with a spray tan from start to finish. Here's why - 1) It was so easy to book online at www.laurenashleysunlessspa.com. 2) Right after I did, I received a text from Lauren introducing herself, letting me know about parking, and telling me to contact her if I had any questions. 3) The location was easy to find and parking was super accessible. The space is so adorable and very professional! 4) Let's admit it. Getting naked in front of a complete stranger to get a spray tan isn't most people's idea of a good time. Lauren was very nice but I ended up being very frustrated with my tan. I got it a day before a photo shoot. I signed up for the express online, which allows you to shower earlier as I had a dinner that evening. When I arrived, Lauren discussed darkness with me and we settled on Level 3 (her most popular) and what she recommended on me. When we were done, she told me to shower in 12 hrs. I was confused because I thought I could shower earlier. When I reached out to her about it, she said that I would look better with the regular tan and that she didn't see I signed up for the express. I absolutely wanted to shower before dinner, but that wasn't going to happen. Once I drove home (10 mins) and changed, my sweatshirt was COVERED in spray tan (see pictures). I was then super frustrated as I had to wait 12 hrs until a shower and it was very clear this would rub off on other clothes. As the night came, my roommates kept telling me I looked crazy unnatural and encouraged me to shower. I did since I had a photo shoot the next day. I scrubbed a lot of the tan off and still looked very orange. I ended up cancelling my photo shoot as I looked unnatural and almost a different race. Very disappointing. read more

I wanted a nice glow for a wedding I was attending, and I was petrified to get a spray tan - I hadn't gotten one for about 8 years and my experience had always been less than stellar. Lauren made the process very comfortable and did an awesome job. She was great at fading around hands/feet, so it looked very natural. I'm pretty pale so I did two layers of a Level 1. I personally felt dark (I'm not used to seeing myself tan), but my color was natural and looked great. If you are pale, I would recommend a Level 1. Will definitely be back. read more
