Wow! We are ecstatic with our service and results from Direct Carpet Cleaning! I sent an inquiry in last week and was called the same day to schedule an estimate appointment. The owner, Dwayne, came out the very next morning and gave me a quick, and very reasonable quote. I didn't feel pressured or like I was being "sold" to, it was a great experience. I booked on the spot and he was able to schedule a technician within a couple days to clean our carpets. We are in the process of selling our house and decided to get a carpet cleaning done to enhance the value. Our carpets are over 10 years old and are original to the house. We've also had a Saint Bernard living on them for the last 10 years, so needless to say the carpets are well worn and we didn't really expect much of an improvement with the cleaning. The technician, Powell, came out while we were gone at work and finished in about 3 hours. We returned to our home at the end of the day and were blown away with how fantastic the carpets looked!!! Almost brand new! I wish we would have had Direct Carpet Cleaning come out earlier so that we could have enjoyed clean carpets before selling the house, but we will definitely be using them moving forward for any future homes and recommending them to anyone along the way. We had a very badly stretched carpet through out our home and quite dirty too from cat and traffic. I wanted someone to come in and "do it all". FANTASTIC WORK. When I made my first call for a quote, Dwayne was at my home in 15min and gave a very good quote and explaination of how he would stretch and clean, how it would turn out, what parts might be an issue and how long it would take. Booked him for following week. Showed up with Richard (?) and the two of them spent the day moving furniture, stretching carpet and then cleaning!! Wow ...It was better than I expected. Did exactly what they said they would do in the time and price they said. There were a couple stretch marks that they said may not come completely out, but they did!! It has now been over a month since it was done and they look like new carpets. Everytime we walk in the house we are amazed. And they were kind, respectful, fair and honest. We have always preferred using this company as they are second to NONE. We have moved in to different apartments over the years before purchasing our own home. Those complexes have used Direct Carpet Cleaning and don't hop around with other companies once they have seen their work and dealt with their top notch, professional employees. I have a comment regarding the single star rating, disappointed Sergey L.--If you found your carpet in less than excellent shape, more than likely the employees of DCC suggested to your apartment manager that the carpet needed replacing due to the previous tenants that occupied your apartment. It sounds like it should not have been "cleaned"...but rather "replaced" and management was too cheap to do so. It happens all the time. Even if you paint a turd green, it's still a turd. The apartments I live in experienced a broken water line on 3rd floor Wednesday Aug. 19th. Maintenance was not able to shut off water (on 1st floor) until after midnight into Thursday morning. Direct Carpet Cleaning came right out to suck up the excess water. My thanks to Dwayne and especially Spenser, who came out every single day including Sat. & Sun. to bring equipment and adjust the heater/blowers and the monster dehumidifier. Spenser was always cheerful, efficient and professional. It amazed me how quickly he got through all the apartments effected (6). The job didn't end until Friday Aug. 28th; but not because of anything they didn't do. It was just the job. They showed respect and care for me and their workmanship. We called and scheduled a full house cleaning. Everything is so clean--it seemed so fresh and new every where I look! They not only were detailed with their cleaning technique--they were able to keep within the time I had requested. I could not afford the clean to take longer than a certain amount of time--and they were able to stay within their quote they gave me. Charged $212 to clean a (very) small one bedroom apartment. Charged $115 for "enzyme", was told that this enzyme can cost up to $100 a gallon. Online, the highest cost is about $49 for professional carpet enzyme cleaner. Was told that the "technician" determined that it was pet odor for a tiny dog that was paper trained and only was in the apartment for five months, when it was probably really for mold. NEVER saw this company at the apartment complex that I lived in, it was always another company. I agree with Elizabeth G. Calling it a shell company is just being polite. We had the priviledge of having Direct Carpet Cleaning clean the carpet in our home in Granite Falls. Their technitian and the owner came in to clean the carpet and ended up cleaning a few pet stains that previous carpet cleaners were unable to remove. They also restretched the wrinkled carpet in our family room as well as clean it making it look practically new.
