Ryan met me at my place for a free diagnostic. Didn't try and up-sell me on anything…read more Professional and knowledgeable is all I have to say. We had a full vehicle tuneup on my wife's Camry and let's just just say it was nothing but stellar. Belts, plugs and full brake work done in 2 hours at our home. Great work! I'll be recommending him to friends/colleagues in the near future. Thanks again!

Very disappointed with my experience with Ryan. My vehicle is a 2019 GMC Sierra, and I contacted…read morehim because my truck had a coolant leak and I already strongly suspected that the radiator needed to be replaced. Before coming out, he told me he would still need to diagnose it and charged me $115. After paying the $115 diagnostic fee, I was basically told exactly what I already knew, the radiator needed to be replaced. Then I was informed that he couldn't actually do the repair because the job required the A/C refrigerant to be recovered and he didn't have the equipment necessary to do that. His recommendation was for me to take the truck to a repair shop. My biggest issue is, if you're advertising yourself as a mobile mechanic/certified technician and charging $115 just to come diagnose a problem, I would expect you to either have the equipment necessary to perform common repairs or be upfront BEFORE charging the customer that you may not be equipped to complete the job. On top of that, I felt his labor quote was extremely high. He quoted me $700 JUST FOR LABOR to replace the radiator on my 2019 GMC Sierra. I ended up taking my truck to an actual radiator shop, and they charged me only $300 for the labor. That's a $400 difference for the same radiator replacement. So I essentially paid Ryan $115 to tell me I needed the radiator I had already told him I believed I needed, was quoted $700 in labor, and then was told he couldn't even perform the repair because he didn't have the necessary A/C equipment. Based on my experience, it left me feeling like collecting the diagnostic fee was more important than actually repairing my vehicle. I would not use this service again. I would strongly recommend asking exactly what equipment he has and whether he can actually complete your repair BEFORE agreeing to pay the $115 diagnostic fee.

Richard, has helped me with a 1999 Toyota Corolla for which I have earlier posted many pictures…read more The best news of all was he helped us decide when to let the vehicle go as to repair it was more costly than that of its value. That being said, Mr. Richard Vaquera supplied us with similar maintenance on the next car our family owned, a 2002 Gold Nissan Altima. First this second car needed fairly major repairs like changing out catalytic converter changed, 1st time for a good price compared to taking it to a dealership. Then another time we had a "Service Engine Light," which had a problem with some sensors where you were able to refer the job to an associate or affiliate who did a little bit more extensive diagnosis and repairs in reprogramming the engine's computer. However again we experienced lower fees than a going to a dealership or many other auto repair businesses. And finally, as with the Toyota, Richard gave us diagnosis and professional counseling on what to do with this 2002 Altima with leaks in the manifold, radiator, and some odd noise from the overhead exhaust system. He advised not to do any more regular driving with it, except for taking it to a dealership to trade it in and arrange for a newer car to take its place. We are very delighted as we followed that advice without driving it to be stranded somewhere before we could trade it in. And we used it in making a deal at a Gunn Honda dealership where we got a lower car payment using the vehicle as a functional car verses one that we would have towed it someplace not having the excellent automotive counseling of our reliable and helpful service of Mr. Richard Vaquera and Son.

They did a great jobs with the repair and gave me an honest evaluation on my rig for things that it needed. The people there are friendly, down-to-earth, and hardworking. It was easy to get a quote and the owner will give you different options depending on your budget and even to pay with paypal credit. All in all, Moonlight off-road I would go and continue to go to get my FJ rolling over rocks again.

Michael (owner) makes you feel like your Jeep is his Jeep. He keeps you up to date along the way, has even a drop box option to fit everyone's tight schedule to pick-up/drop-off, & and will ensure the job is done to your satisfaction. We had a total of around (2) dozen items addressed between the engine, suspension, exhaust, and electrical work and all were completed within a reasonable time and extremely competitive price point. Alyssa (Head Mechanic) knows her stuff. She quickly diagnosed and listened to what my wife and I had concerns with and did not stop until she tackled them all. Her expertise is hard to find. She has all the tools needed to ensure our 97 TJ was fixed correctly to almost like new running condition. Overall, the integrity of this shop is what will have us coming back and has earned our business for life. If you want an honest, well communicated, fair priced shop that can handle any job you throw their way....Look no farther.
