When possible, I support local businesses. I wish I found Direct Grass a long time ago. For years, I had been buying sod from the big box stores and The Garden Center. I felt lucky when it was in stock, much less when it looked decent. To make a long story short, I saw some local Grass suppliers online. I've learned to read the reviews, especially the one star reviews. When I see a trend of people giving one star reviews to one company and giving another one five stars, I already know not to use an unscrupulous company who does that. I chose to go to Direct Grass. The people were friendly. It was nice to have the sod loaded for me. It was in great condition. I was also given great suggestions to help the new sod grow. Bought a few pallets of grass, came with a LARGE amount of black widow spiders that have now taken over my back yard. I have small children who play outside and I tried to return the grass 2 days later before it settled and the owner would not let me return for a refund. horrible customer service. do not buy grass from here if you don't want black widows and brown recluse spiders in your yard. read more
