Okay, I don't see a lot of reviews for Direct Hearing Aid Services. This is surprising because I've been going to this place for many years. Every time we go and there are others there and they rave about Thomas, his sons and the great service that they provide. I think Hearing Aids aren't a popular thing to review. However, after getting about 3 years more out of my hearing aids beyond the time Hear USA said I should purchase new ones( thank you Thomas). Brian and the entire crew are absolutely AMAZING! A true pure group of people that truly are committed to helping others. My mother that only has 5% left of her hearing was given a chance to hear again. I can not express the gratitude I feel for this group of fine gentlemen. The delicacy and respect my mother was offered was beyond words. The patience they give is under recognized and with that being said, well here we are. I never new that they were so close to us. I can not express how delicate they are with their mannerisms bcs my mother can be difficult. Why? Well, she is hard of hearing. That being said,You may, need to explain anything to her about three times. They never made a rude face to me or any of my loved ones. The prices are reasonable but I highly suggest to give them a call. Never received the hearing aids. Salesperson lied about shipping with DHL internationally. Shipped through USPS to a country with no postal system. Made multiple calls and emails. Filed complaints with multiple agencies and they respond with differing answers. Out $2300. read more

I stopped by because my Grandmother's hearing aids stopped working all of a sudden after charging. I called in and they were very helpful and asked me to come in to check the hearing aid for free. Turns out there was a lot of wax inside, and moisture built up over time. Thomas gave me a clear diagnosis of the problem and I agreed to have them change the wax guard, tube, and filter. 15 minutes later, my Grandmother's hearing aids are as good as new! As hearing capability diminishes, hearing aids can be adjusted to compensate for the change. Tom did an awesome job of reprogramming and servicing Mom's hearing aids for $100. I had a problem with my hearing aids and stopped into Direct Hearing for some help after reading their YELP reviews. Tom checked out my hearing aids and said they need reprogramming and had a missing part. He said he could order part and we rescheduled a meeting for next week. Due to circumstances I did not call them and never made it back for repairs. They did not hound me or send me a bill for the part. Quite pleased with my experience with Direct Hearing Aid Services. Until using them, I had only taken my hearing aids back to my audiologist's office for repair. Given the age of my current pair, I would've expected a hefty repair bill along with a sales pitch and reminders that they are too old (About 6 years). Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Direct that my hearing aids were perfectly fine and repairable and that the repairs could be done in house with a quick turnaround for about half the cost of the audiologist's office. Why hadn't I looked into or known about these services before? Don't be fooled by their limited advertising and small, residential office space. This is a business that I am grateful to have found and will recommend them to others! read more

The folks at Direct Hearing Aid Services have successfully repaired my aids three times now. Not only did they get them working again, but they have come back better than before. The last one entailed building a new shell for one I stepped on: the only time I have done that in over 40 years. I mailed it from Seattle and it came back in less than a week. I'm so glad I found these guys!! They called me the same day they received it and told me they needed to order parts. The next day called back, the repairs had been completed and they were ready to ship it back. I gave them a CC # and it was in my mailbox the next day :) works great. Very reasonable on the pocketbook. Just as a comparison, I have 6 year old Rextons (digital) from Costco. Paid about 3k for the setup. I have had them repaired prior through Costco took about two weeks and about $100. Because they are over 5 years old Costco will not touch them. Direct Hearing Aid service charged $160, yes I know more money...But Costco won't even touch them anymore and Direct Hearing Aid Services has me hearing again in only 3 days! I just wanted to give you the details so you can have as many facts to go on when making your decision. This is only my experience, I'm sure price varies by make, model and age. Hope that helps. I LOVE this place!!!!!! LONG STORY SHORT!!! My VERY experience hearing aids were stolen , right after i finished paying for them :( I was so depressed and stressed out!!! I have work & school ... I NEED TO HEAR!!!! So I freaked out! I don't have an extra $4,000 laying around. I was devastated !!! So I called my uncle who is also hard of hearing. I called him to ask if he knew of any cheaper , or a place with better deal! My uncle told me about this place .... I brought in my uncles old hearing aids ( that he wasn't using anymore ) And they just made me an ear mold to fit my ear , but with my uncles hearing aid (engine?) lol AMAZING!! Thomas is amazing. He can fix almost any hearing aid. We brought my 93 year old mother in law in because her hearing aids no longer functioned properly. Everyone she went to wanted to sell her a new pair, telling her that her hearing aids were old and not repairable. Thankfully we were directed to Thomas by the audiologist at Costco . We drove in to see Thomas today, ( 73 miles but well worth the trip) . He had them fixed within two hours. He made sure my mother in law could hear well before we left. Excellent Customer Service. I needed to get my hearing aids repaired and reprogrammed. However I also needs to go out of town. Time frame was short then I was held up in a meeting and was running late to pick up my hearing aids.
