The owner was super nice and helpful. Her assistant is a high school girl and we weren't too impressed with her. I didn't feel like there was enough help for the amount of people we had. There were about 14 of us and we all had different types of projects. Mine had three different levels of paint and got messed up. The assistant tried to help but she ended up painting on it while it was still wet and made it worse. I was the last one to leave at 9:00 (arrived at 5:00) because the owner was trying to help me fix it. It doesn't look great at all. Maybe they should have had one more person there to assist. I felt abandoned after awhile and left to figure it out by myself. Again, the owner was super sweet and tried to help as much as she could. I wish I had known in advance that my project would take longer and need more work than the others. Maybe that could be added to the website, difficulty level??

When I compared quotes, Impulse was the most inexpensive by SEVERAL hundreds of dollars. Impulse also quoted an extremely short turnaround time compared to others (literal days vs. weeks and months), which I frankly thought was overly ambitious and probably too good to be true. Nevertheless, I delivered my canvases to their store on Tuesday afternoon and to my absolute shock and delight, I received a call late Thursday morning informing me that my work had been completed. Reader, that was a TWO DAY TURNAROUND. And how was the work? INCREDIBLE. The service? EXPERT. The in-store selection of framing options? VAST. Will I absolutlely be doing business again with Impulse? WITHOUT A DOUBT.

This is such a cute place for a date night or family outing. We decided to go here because the traditional gift to give for 9 years anniversary is pottery, and what better place to go than Color Me Mine? (: There are a LOT of ceramics to choose from so you can truly get creative and personal with your selection. There are many options including piggy banks, plates, bowls, dishes, mugs, etc. You have to pay $10 painting fee per painter in addition to the price of your selected ceramic. Our grand total was about $74, which seems pricey, but it was worth it because we had a great time, and we were able to make customized gifts for one another. The girls there were really friendly, and one girl in particular who helped us was SO SWEET! I wish I got her name. She was so accommodating and friendly towards our two little boys. We didn't pay to have the boys paint a ceramic piece because they're too young. However, she gave them some paint and coloring sheets so they wouldn't be bored. That was incredibly helpful because it allowed my husband and I to concentrate a bit better. We stayed there for about 1.5 hours and they kept checking back on us and getting us paint. We asked for a lot of paint, and they never seemed annoyed or rushed us. They also gave a lot of good tips and advice! Thank you, ladies, for a fun night! On a mission for some faux flowers, I put on my big girl pants, and braved the angsty uncaffinated crowd with the greater mission of finishing my work craft. While Michael's florals are pricey, it's always a treat to find the occasional 99 cent bundle, or seasonal 50% off sale. That being said, there are always items on clearance and always coupons, deals, and sales. Although a bit lacking in their traditional florals department (well, in terms of the selection of reds), this location is calm, organized, and everyone I've encountered has been helpful and friendly. My sister's birthday party is today, so we brought in some balloons to get inflated with helium…read more First off the prices are ridiculous, but even beside that we had brought in a balloon we just bought to be filled with helium, so we were charged $10 to fill up the number balloon and it didn't even float. They said there might be a defect with whoever made it and so be it but we asked for a refund because we had bought a replacement balloon there and we had to spend an extra $10 on another number balloon and more helium. And then on top of now spending twenty dollars for two balloons, one of which didn't even float, every latex ballon is $2. They never refunded our balloon that didn't float and said next time to buy a balloon directly from them.
