So this kit is amazing. I purchased the MT Trail Runner kit for my 19' Tacoma. I wanted something that rides like oem, but is capable for offroad. I debated for awhile with so many choices from great manufacturers of suspension systems. But one thing is common in 99% of the systems. They are most set up for just off road. The Trail Runner bridges that gap. Let's be honest 80% of people only own one rig and it's their daily. Me personally I'm in the woods here in the PNW like one to two weekends a month. And I will say out of all the lift kits I've installed on rigs I've own. This one is by far the smoothest riding one yet. From riding around town it feels like oem. On the logging roads it comes alive. Sure footed and just as smooth as if it was on pavement. I can't praise this kit enough. So if you're on the fence, just get it. Pretty disappointed with the quality of work... I have been painting and welding, doing the work that should have been done by Dirt King during my paid install of a long travel kit for my 2006 T4R. Attention to detail is very lacking; however, with my attention to detail and whatever I paid them to do, I should have a robust and corrosion resistant install. Note to dirt king: plain carbon steel will rust sitting in a climate controlled garage.... SMH DETAILS LACKING: Unpainted CS brackets, some externally facing surfaces left unpainted; internally facing surfaces all left unpainted, Zirk fitting caps missing; welds missing on key suspension parts ( though dirt king says if I bring it back they'll weld what they missed); ALL INTERNAL SURFACES FACING ENGINE LEFT UNWELDED. I am sure I will find more but pretty dissatisfied with the finish work of this install. If you like doing extra work when you pay top dollar for an install, look no further! read more

Called Dirt king last week in santee and spoke to nick i think and sorry if i got the name wrong . I let him know I was having issues with a bounce in my 2016 f250 superduty I just installed a carli back country kit recently. I didn't get it through them. I brought my truck buy this week they thought it might of been a tire balance issue. They test drove called carli suspension and confirmed on what the nitrogen should be in the shocks. They were a little lower then what carli said so dirt king put the correct pressure they checked the tourq on everything but it's seems to be more then a tire balance issue. And somthing i have to get in contact with carli suspension.Every one at dirt king was super helpful and super friendly. Also great looking shop I'll probably be back soon to go buy a couple shirts and will defintly do business with them in the future. read more

I certainly wish I could give 5 stars here. Good communication and service but after the install of new Fox suspension on a Tacoma, I had to go back two times to get the alignment right. Once that was solved, I had a good amount of tire rub. Before any work was done, I was told this would be addressed if needed and apparently all was good. After the 3rd alignment, I took the truck back, they made some minor cuts and said the rubbing was solved. After driving away and a few tight turns the issue is still there. There is no doubt these guys know what they're doing and good at the customer interaction part, but I wish I would have walked away with the job being done. The suspension part seems great, but the overall truck is now not right. read more

I've got a set of UCAs in my Tacoma and they're awesome. Well built, allow for proper alignment specs, reliable, and look great. I had a set of SPCs in my Tacoma for a while and they were not great, they made noise, my steering walked, and constantly needed realigning. The ball joints and bushings were defective from the start. The DKs are quiet, feel solid, and were easy to install and align. Set it and forget it. The poly bushings feel super solid. 10/10 would recommend. read more

These guys really know what they're doing. Purchased a long travel kit for the 19+ Silverado/Sierra platform. It's a new kit so a few little kinks to work out, but they are very helpful over the phone to answer questions about anything. They did a very good job working with King to have coilovers valved well for their kit. Rides well on the street and eats up big bumps off-road very well. Haven't even put in bypasses yet up front, but there is very good bottoming control while still being compliant for the smaller bumps. Attention to detail is very good, everything needed is included in the kit. It is all high quality and american made. Would not hesitate to purchase their products again. read more

I have new Tacoma TRD OFF ROAD with an icon lift and larger than stock tires. I was having a problem on tight turns tire rub. (The lift was done someplace else or I'm sure it would've been taken care of, dirt king would have done it right the 1st time ) Turns out that dirt king fabrication has a very efficient and good looking fix for this problem. They made my truck right in less than a half a day, it looks better than it did when it was new, this is a high quality shop that I would recommend to anyone. Paul did a hell of a job helping me figure out my LCA scenario. I bought a used LCA from a friend and we both didn't know the car were year specific. From calling support and to finding the parts I needed was a breeze. Figured out we can definitely use the LCA but need to replace the bushings and sleeve. Not many Companies left in the world that offer the level of service Dirt King provides. What started as an inquire of upper control arms turned into a mid travel setup. My first interaction was with Paul over the phone very professional and answered every question I had, and I asked a lot of questions. Initially started with just parts, asked about wheel pricing was able to get the best price on a specific set I was looking at, which let into a mid travel installation I scheduled one 5 months out due to availability they were booked but well worth the wait. For installation and service I was put in contact with Nick G! The man! Truly went above and beyond he set my appointment up even contacted me for an earlier appointment that opened up but I was unable to make it still nice to know that they were able to do that for me. So fast forward to the install day, I have to include I traveled 2 hours from LA multiple times and I'd do it again for the service provided. Dropped off the truck for a mid travel + fender trimming, + wheel mounting, and alignment was told end of day following day. No cut corners fast, efficient and professional work. Day of pick up comes as I'm heading out the door nick calls to inform me of there being an issue with one of my wheels not being true and they aren't able to properly balance it. Everything was completed on time. So I make it down there. Nick already has a video showing me the issue and the issue was a wheel manufacturer defect. A defect that probably would went unnoticed initially, but the integrity that this shop has let me tell you. So Nick reaches out on my behalf to the wheel company long story short the wheel company isn't wanting to take care of it because i had custom polished and Powdercoated the wheel. Nick assured me and delivered on taking care of it. The new wheel was shipped to the wheel guy I used who polished and Powdercoated the wheels for me to match my set. Truck came out perfect everything I wanted. Mind you this my daily driver with a mid travel not a trophy truck or crazy long travel build but the customer service level was the to those levels. So a big thank you to Nick G, Paul , and all the Dirt King crew for your professionalism and top class customer service. I bought my long travel kit from them back in May of 2019 . Nick and I had been talking back and fourth about me getting the kit on and of for awhile previous to the purchase. The kit is everything Nick said it would be x100. Love it in the dirt, running their uniball/heim lt kit for the 4runner on their DK spec/tuned RR King 2.5 coilovers. The reason I went with Dirt Kings Upper Control Arms for my Tacoma is because they are local San Diegans and I can just go to them if I ever had any issues. After I a day of off roading I began to hear squeaking coming from my UCAs. I tried cleaning them but we're still squeaking. I called Dirt King and spoke with Greg who said to come by so he can look at them. When I got there he said they just needed to be lubed. He did it right there on the spot and even went on a test drive with me! You don't find much service like that. The squeaking went away after a day and I'm one happy customer.
