In the short time since I moved into my new houses I've used Juan on two very different projects. The first was a sprinkler job that required the repositioning of the sprinklers on my front lawn and the installation of a new valve and wireless timer. The second, was the installation of plumbing for a new dishwasher in a bay where there had not been one before. Juan even did a return trip on the dishwasher job to fix the toe kick plate and help me identify the tripped GFCI that was preventing the unit from powering on. Juan did a great job installing the sprinklers, but his lack of professionalism and follow up customer services prompts me to leave this poor review. One of the sprinkler heads he installed broke when someone tripped over it (clearly the our fault). We made arrangements for him to come at 8:30 a.m. the day after we called him and he was on time. I moved around morning meetings to be home and was on the phone when he arrived at the appointed time. I quickly showed him where the broken sprinkler head and returned to my conference call. When I went outside to follow up with him 10 minutes later, he was gone. I called his cell phone and asked him why he left the job site. He said he knocked on the door (I didn't hear him) and waited 10 minutes as he needed to get into the back yard (for which I had a key). I asked him to return to finish the job as the sprinkler is leaking, and he said to "hire someone else" and hung up on me. When I got him on the phone again he said he would not return and hung up on me again. While our brief conversation was short in-person and completely professional on both sides, based on his actions and lack of professionalism/customer service I will not refer him to others and am prompted to write this review so others can be aware that while the installation may be good, the maintenance and repairs after installation are not up to par. read more
