I called Rey on a late Friday afternoon and asked him if he would be available on Saturday and he said yes. Promptly arrived at the scheduled time and started troubleshooting the leak situation I had at my house. My area was too saturated to pinpoint the problem and he explained what I needed to do to fix it. Did not charge me anything and did not try to BS me. Excellent service!!! I just needed a valve replaced and a couple drip lines and sprinklers checked. Well, I reached out this morning and the valve is replaced and the lines are repaired and it's only 5 hours later. Jose sent videos of the work he found and completed too. In addition I received one other bid, and he was much more reasonably priced. I have been in the customer service world for quite some time, and this level of communication and documentation is not the norm nowadays. I don't like leaving reviews but here we are. We had set a date and time. He notified me he was running a few minutes late which was fine. I got called into work so I had to leave (I did not think that would be an issue, so I did not mention it to him). He arrived and called me (that's when I told him I wasn't there). I told him what needed to be repaired. He said he would take a look but then he left without notice and blocked my calls/no response to text. I was looking on Yelp for someone to assist me with a sprinkler issue and ran across Rey's Irrigation Repair Service. I called him and told him my issue; sprinklers were on and would not turn off. They had been running for a few hours at least, grass was flooded. Without hesitation, he told he would come to turn off the water to the sprinklers and we could go from there. He showed up at the time he quoted, tuned off the water to the sprinklers, found the issue, quoted me a more than fair price, and fixed the issue. He took his time to trouble shoot the problem, making sure there were no underlying issues. Before he left he pointed out different things about our sprinkler set up to educate me on the irregularities of our system. He made sure that ALL sprinklers were working properly, not just the one he fixed and that our automatic system was connected and functioning properly. He was a real life-saver!
