On a long weekend to celebrate family, we stopped in after breakfast to have an early afternoon cocktail. The guy working was very kind and helpful in explaining his distillery techniques and flavoring. They had two spritzer infused drinks on tap that we enjoyed, along with a old fashion. The open air bar was delightful and inviting. They don't have food but offer food trucks on the weekend, not sure what times or days - view their other comments or website for more information. They had some table games for our enjoyment.

Dirty Water Distillery is a total hidden gem in Plymouth. I've passed their building hundreds of times (no exaggeration!) but I have never stopped in and here are my reasons. 1. There is little to no parking that is by there, so the foot traffic is a bit diminished- but take my word for it, park and get those feet moving! It's still close to everything, and after a few samples you should be walking for a bit instead of hopping in the car anyways! 2. While it's clearly downtown, its a bit at the end of the street to where all the hustle and bustle is happening. But that's perfect! It's a calm, relaxing atmosphere that you can enjoy with family and friends while having a conversation without it being too loud! 3. When I saw the word "Distillery" I thought, ugh no thanks not for me- but that was such a bad move on my part. They have something for everyone. Numerous vodkas, gins, and whiskeys..oh and Plymouth Beer Company is there too- Surprise! So, get over there. Stay a bit and try their delicious creations. Personally, I loved all the vodka I tried, which included Cucumber Lime, Ginger, Green Tea, Coffee, Chocolate, and Vanilla. I'm not a gin or whiskey drinker- but its safe to assume if they had amazing vodka, I'm sure the latter is true for the gin, whiskey, and beer! Oh P.S- Did I mention they also sell a bunch of handcrafted products from local artists? Good drinks & giving back to the community? Hurry and take my money!

Absolutely one of the smoothest single malt whiskeys I've ever had the pleasure of tossing down the gullet...

Awesome place to relax with friends and family. Dog friendly with an unusual selection of drinks.

Great spot for a unique distillery in the heart downtown Plymouth - around the corner from some famous rock?

You have to walk down an access road that goes to the back parking lot to get to the entrance. They did have some banners at the entrance but that was odd. They have some food offerings that were pretty good and we tried a flight of most of their drink offerings. There were a couple of good pours, their New Medford rum and Addendum B whiskey were particularly good. Ambiance was lacking. The place caters to the late 20's - early 30's grunge crowd (or at least it did when we were there) and that's not us. The loud metal music and non-stop cursing by the bar staff and most of the patrons ensures that we won't be back. They do sell many of their spirits online, so perhaps check them out.

Once we were dropped off by our ride share company, it looked a little sketchy, but the entrance was in the back. There were a few people there, but come to find out, they were all there to participate in the tour and tasting. I didn't see but maybe 2-4 people who were there that weren't part of the experience. It has a really nice intimate dark feel. Good for date night or small group experience. We had sips of different spirits, I personally couldn't finish them all. Some because of taste that didn't mesh with my tastebuds, other reason was it's straight up liquor- I wasn't trying to get get wasted. It's a decent amount of liquor. Overall, it was something different and something to do while visiting friends in town. The staff was really nice and informative, overall, I probably won't do this again, as tasting liquor isn't really my thing, versus a wine tasting, but glad to have tried it nevertheless.
