The crash Pad food truck did not disappoint and was very enjoyable! Delicious kale chicken Caesar salad and veggie burger. Really great! The shop inside was nice as well and bought a couple bottles of wine and chocolate and snacks. I also was pleased there was a full working bathroom that was clean. Highly recommend! While vacationing on the Cape, I was eager to imbibe in all things cranberry. With that being said, you can imagine my glee when Truro was offering pours of cranberry wine on a late November afternoon during our visit. Wine in hand, we picked up just about every item in the gift shop and dreamt of a checked bag to stow it all away in. We meandered out to the tent and cozied around a fire pit to savor our glasses of wine. Back to my dreams of a checked bag: If I'd brought one, it'd be full of bottles of that exact cranberry wine and just enough bubble wrap to ensure safe transport. Our view was faintly lit by dainty string lights cheering up the out-of-season rows of grapes running up the hillside. My mom and I decided this would be a stunning wedding venue and got to pretend planning. I could've sat around that fire, sipping wine and chatting with mi familia, until I was old and gray. Truro Vineyards was the actualization of my every desire for a glass of cranberry vino, and I will remember it for time and eternity! read more

Transported to Napa for an hour on the Cape! Our tour received a warm welcome to Truro with a glass of one of their reds which was mixed with cranberry juice. It's really good if you like sweet. Our guide was very clear and knowledgeable about the process of making the wines and the transportation of grapes to the vineyard. The rolling hills of grapes on vines, through pretty small compared to California wine country, provided a lovely backdrop on the property, where we were free to roam with our glasses. If you can't bring home any wine, the shop has great wine accessories and vineyard merchandise that I wish I got. The wines weren't the best I ever had, but they were good and worth trying. The whiskey was good. The one I didn't care for was the Amaro Cioccolate. The description read much better than the product was for me. It was like a mix of mild cocoa with absinthe. You'll either like it or you won't. The people there were very nice and pricing is reasonable. They have food trucks on site in the summer to complement the wines which can be ordered by the glass, not just tastings. The wine was served off temperature, but even served at the wrong temperatures could not mask the acidic forward and after tastes that were prevalent in each of the samples of both basic and premium wine flights. The basic flight ($15) had 5 different wines, 4 served in dixie cups. Of the five, one was passable, but it was hard to tell, as the vineyard did not offer water to cleanse one's pallet between sips. The premium flight ($30) comes with a 'free' glass of wine with the 4 tastes: when choosing the glass, my partner and I couldn't bring ourselves to pick any of the NINE we had sampled. Really. So we chose a bubbly 'something' we hadn't sampled. We left it on the table. No wonder there are so many Truro vineyard glasses in the airBnB no one wants the memory of this place. read more

We stopped into this vineyard 15 min before they closed. Unfortunately, they would not serve wine flights anymore and only had the back bar open. I picked one of their custom cocktails with their distilled spirits. I was not impressed. My group got their wine and it was okay. The scenery was beautiful and had a lot of shade over the seating area outside. They have a private area for members only inside the main building. I do like the take away aluminum cup! Truro Vineyards is a very surprising place. Who would have thought that grapes for wine can grow in fields near the Atlantic Ocean in this climate of salt water and sea air so well? We went into the gift shop and bought a 4 pack of their wine that comes packaged in lighthouse replica bottles for $83. This place can get busy during the summer so be prepared. The wine itself is meh as with all the wines in this part of the country but they also have spirits. Outside in the front is where they do the tastings. We were told they were booked up for tastings but took our name. So we went to the back where you can just buy glasses of wine and sit outside at one of the tables. They have a pavilion with a roof so even if it rains you can still sit outside. That's what we ended up doing and had a good time. Prices are fair for what you get. They have a food truck though it's unclear if you can bring your own food or not. We saw people doing it but we weren't sure if it was allowed or if they were being sneaky. We just went in the gift shop and bought some cheese and crackers. What a wonderful property! We had the pleasure of visiting on a day with beautiful weather. The sloping vineyard perfectly sets the shining, bright-white buildings. The shop feels very cozy and warm, and one can find the current line of products, as well as some other local brands. We hoped to do a few tastings in order to try the different products. We were displeased to find that the tastings offered for both the wine and liquor are pre-set. It prevented us from tasting some of the wines and liquors we were really hoping to try. We proceeded outside the store to the outdoor bar for our tastings. I saw that the bar staff had pre-poured what looked to be about thirty shot glasses. When asked if this is a promo, or a special offering, the bar staff told me that "it's just easier" to prep the tastings than to do one-ounce-pours whenever someone orders a tasting. This was disturbing. There are jiggers, bottle pourers that only pour a single ounce, and employees with work ethic; among other solutions. We proceeded with the tasting as it was already too late; I had ordered before finding out our wine was sitting out all day. It tasted exactly like that. I am sure that the rose is good when served ideally, but unfortunately it tasted like warm B.O. I have never had another vineyard experience like that before. As I lead in this review, the property is gorgeous. The products and offerings seem good, and the staff are kind. I still cannot get over the fact that I was served wine that had been sitting out all day. That is actually crazy. I feel robbed of the opportunity to genuine experience this vineyard and their wines. I would love the chance to return eventually and give them a fair shot (or for the vineyard to give themselves a fair shot...?). This could have been a good experience. read more

We were headed to Provincetown for the 4th of July fireworks and decided to stop at the only winery in the area, which also happened to be a distillery. I was excited to try both their wine and whiskey. When we arrived, the place was packed. The process here was different from most wineries I've visited. Typically, you arrive, go to the front, and sample wines easily. However, this place had a more complex setup. We had to go to a waiter at the front of the lawn, who found us seats and provided menus. We were given a predetermined list of wines to taste, including a White M Blend (a mix of Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Albariño), Rosé, Cabernet Franc, and a semi-sweet Cranberry Red. As a fan of dry reds and whites, I preferred options like the Maritime Red (a dry, lighter-bodied Cabernet Franc), Triumph (a dry, full-bodied Estate Red), and Red M Blend (a dry mix of Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Petite Sirah). Unfortunately, I was told I couldn't choose these wines for tasting. The tasting cost $15 for four wines, roughly $3.75 per glass. I decided to order a glass of Cabernet Franc, which was good. I didn't sample any whiskey, as I was more interested in trying their rum, rye, and a couple of other spirits not on the tasting list. My recommendation is to create a more relaxed environment where customers can choose what they want to sample since they are paying for the experience. When I asked one of the staff at a trailer about sampling other items, he directed me back to our waiter. They had a building where you could purchase wine, whiskey, and gifts, with a special section in the back for members only, offering dedicated support for their needs. Overall, the wine was good, but the service was odd. We had to wait for someone to come to our table, and our waiter got distracted by another guest, neglecting our table for a while. They had us scan a code to order food, so why not do the same for wine and allow customers to pick it up themselves? Despite these issues, the waiter was pleasant, and the vineyard offered plenty to do, including taking photos, which not all places allow. In summary, while the wine was enjoyable, the service and tasting process could be improved to provide a more customer-friendly experience. read more

This is an adorable little vineyard. We had planned to come here prior to our trip. There's an outdoor area out front and back. Inside the little house there are gifts and wine bottles, etc to purchase. In the back is where the wine tasting is. My dad did a wine tasting and I did a mimosa. You get to keep your souvenir glass with the wine tasting. There's the outside area that's covered in case of rainy days. The grape vines are behind you. Cute and cozy vineyard. Beautiful space and the perfect place to stop for a cocktail or glass of wine when on the lower cape! I have lived on the Cape for a huge part of my life and just finally made it here at age 30. We stumbled upon Truro Vineyards when they happened to be having a gorgeous Christmas market, which made the experience super fun, but also not exactly what we expected. Due to the event, they weren't doing tastings so we didn't get the experience we hoped for, but still had a blast. I tried their M Blend, which was nice, but extremely expensive at $15 a glass. They also weren't offering bottles to share, which we would have preferred to do. I will absolutely come back next time I am on Cape to try more wines! read more

I ordered a cup of white wine, a spindrift, and a lobster roll on gluten-free bread. The lobster rolls from Truro Vineyards happen to be some of my favorites. The gluten-free bun is light and airy, the lobster is cooked well, and the ratio of lobster to bread and mayo is perfect. The vineyard allows dogs and we take our group takes our dogs almost every time. The food comes separately from food trucks, so the waitresses who take your drink orders only know about their drink selections. You need to use the QR code to order food. I've never had anything bad to say about Truro Vineyards and honestly look forward to every visit. It's like a tradition that we never stray from. Sometimes they have someone come who shucks oysters. I've been coming to Truro Vineyards for years and it's always one of my favorite spots to bring folks on the Cape. Their wine tastings and wine are great and the cranberry red is a unique treat for folks from out of the area. In the summer, they usually have a great food truck going with burgers, hot dogs and other summer staples. This was one of the first venues we visited after the lock downs since seating is outdoors and there's a lot of spacing in the set up, which was even the case before COVID. It's a nice relaxing place. You can now make reservations in advance online but apparently not same day reservations (I tried last week and couldn't do it so we just showed up and I suppose it was early enough in the season that it wasn't an issue). If you don't have a reservation, be prepared to wait but you can walk the grounds or check out the amazing store Atlantic Spice just down the road which is a destination itself for spices and tons of hard to find kitchen items. They also have a number of great hostess gifts and specialty foods. read more

This is the perfect stop to make before you head into PTown. The complimentary tour at 11am was informative. For $30 you can do a wine & spirits tasting. You must reserve your outdoor spot for tasting & dining. They have an on-site food truck & ice cream truck, however we didnt dine but the menu looked pretty cool. I have spent part of every year of my life in Truro and had never visited the relatively recent Vineyard until now. But my husband had been wanting to, so I arranged the Wednesday Wine & Dine evening for our anniversary. The evening included a 5 course tasting menu along with a 5 wine flight. We found the whole experience pretty shocking - starting mildly with the lack of an actual table at the "table" for two; the unsustainable/environmentally unfriendly disposable plastic cutlery, water "glasses", and paper plates (not a good look for the outer cape); and the server's complete lack of knowledge of what ingredients were in the dishes. But mild displeasure turned to disbelief when the server told us to save our plastic spoons, mucked with chowder, for the bread pudding dessert (it followed that forks and knives were also to be re-used) and disbelief turned to shock when I realized each of the 5 wines was poured into our one, increasingly muddled, wineglass. I didn't think the wines were very good, but how could I tell? As far as i can tell, this is just a tourist attraction, an overpriced, misleadingly advertised one. read more

We had such a great time in our first visit to Truro Vineyards. We really loved the vibe with the food truck and ice cream truck. My wife got a flight of wine while I chose the whiskey flight. Each flight was $15 and we each got a drink after. You keep the glasses from the drinks! Truly a great atmosphere. The only thing missing would be a little live music playing on the side. I'd suggest a local artist to give it a nice local flair. Be sure to go through the gift shop for some really cool stuff. We will be back again. read more

Been to Truro many times but never visited Truro Vineyard until this summer. It was a really good experience. The staff and servers were friendly and accommodating even though they were near closing for a private party. It wasn't over crowded. The wine was good - and the sample sizes were generous. And it was reasonably priced. I'd definitely go back and highly recommend checking it out. The gift shop has great stuff too. read more

This was a lovely stop during our weekend in Ptown! It's a little ways out of town, (6 miles) but definitely worth checking out. During Covid, the tours aren't running, but they have a super cute outdoor seating area (with fire pits)! The site houses a vineyard, distillery, and a food truck so you can stay for a while and try out different things! We started with the wine flight! The 5 wines were each unique and delicious! They take you on a journey through whites, a red, a rose, and a sweet wine. The perfect variety, I'd say! The tasting flight is only $15 and you get to keep the wine glass which is fun. Spirit tasting isn't really our jam, but we followed up the wine flight with a cocktail that uses their own spirits. Cocktails were really unique, strong, and just $10! Super reasonable for a specialty drink with the liquor made on-site! The entire staff was super helpful and welcoming. Lily and Katie helped us out, and they both knew their stuff and offered great suggestions! Truro is a necessary addition to your cape trip! Can't wait to come back. read more

We stopped in on a cloudy afternoon for a wine tasting while exploring the local area. There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating. Be sure to sign in as soon as you arrive to reserve a spot in the tasting area. We waited about 1/2 hour. During that time we walked around the grounds and checked out the cute gift shop. No outside food or drinks are allowed at the winery, so you can purchase snacks and drinks in the gift shop. There is also a food truck that requires online ordering from your numbered table - you cannot order at the truck. The winery offers a small selection of whites, reds, and distilled spirits. We highly recommend Sunday Funday at the Vineyard! We each enjoyed a couple of cocktails while listening to the DJ and visiting with friends. Heyyyyy everyone this was my first time going to a wine tasting. My general impression of the wines themselves were favorable, the cran-red and the diamond definitely tasted the most interesting. When I went to a vineyard I expected maybe to see the vineyard or look around at some foliage. The vineyard is set up behind the actual building so unless you are sitting on the porch (we were not), you cannot see the vineyard. Instead you are set up in picnic tables around an unremarkable flat green that looks more like a typical cape cod seating arrangement. Also, the amount of wine you get for a tasting is referred to as a "short shot", I would say no more than two to three sips each. I think if I would go back I would buy two bottles of wine and split that. Unfortunately, when you go for the tasting you don't get really any wine (dont let the picture mislead you). read more

I love this place! I've been 4 or 5 times in the last year. They have wine tasting and pours as well as spirit tastings and pours at South Hollow Spirits, the distillery. When you walk up, there is a large green area that has benches, chairs and tables for people to sit and sip. There is the open spirit tasting counter which is next to the bar for full pours of wine and cocktails. When it gets busy, there is a line to get drinks, but it goes quickly. I haven't done the spirit tasting, but I've done the wine tasting 3 or so times. I love the wines! They have a good mix of sweet and dry, white and red. You get 5 tastings for $10 which includes a wine glass. If you then bring your wine glass to the bar for a full pour, you get $1 off. Wine pours are usually $10 and cocktails are a bit more. They recently added a rose can which they say has 2 servings of rose for $15 instead of the $20 you would pay for 2 glasses. I usually get wine pours at the bar, but went for cocktails this last time (Labor Day). While the pomegranate fizz was lackluster, the gin bloody was surprisingly delicious and just spicy enough. I enjoyed it! There is also a store where you can buy wines, pay for your tasting and get knick knacks. Everyone I have encountered at Truro Vineyards has been super friendly and helpful. Prices are normal, drinks are good and the setting is Insta-worthy with real vineyards onsite. They even had cornhole set up! I highly recommend this place on a nice day. This winery was a bit different, you don't go to the bar to order your drinks, you have to wait at tour table for your server to come and take your order.
