Nice, little establishment which lends something else to do in the area. The two young people making the drinks were not friendliest. I had a red sangria and it was pretty good, my wife had a glass of their Sauvignon Blanc and did not care for it. Casual atmosphere with outdoor seating scattered about. A food truck was also available on site.

What a cute place! Wanted to check it out and the weather was perfect! Was hanging with my bestie. It's a great place to hang out and day drink, We opted to try a spirit flight and a wine flight. I also ordered a painkiller and it was so on point, They had a few food trucks however, we didn't try it. We had dinner plans in p town.

Very nice & popular location. They have food trucks plus their own wine & spirits. Lovely location but get there early.

Stopped here as part of a weekend trip to the Cape. Luckily it was a beautiful day for April, so we were able to sit outside to enjoy the tastings. The wines weren't the best I ever had, but they were good and worth trying. The whiskey was good. The one I didn't care for was the Amaro Cioccolate. The description read much better than the product was for me. It was like a mix of mild cocoa with absinthe. You'll either like it or you won't. The people there were very nice and pricing is reasonable. They have food trucks on site in the summer to complement the wines which can be ordered by the glass, not just tastings. An overall nice add to a Cape visit.

The wine was served off temperature, but even served at the wrong temperatures could not mask the acidic forward and after tastes that were prevalent in each of the samples of both basic and premium wine flights. The basic flight ($15) had 5 different wines, 4 served in dixie cups. Of the five, one was passable, but it was hard to tell, as the vineyard did not offer water to cleanse one's pallet between sips. The premium flight ($30) comes with a 'free' glass of wine with the 4 tastes: when choosing the glass, my partner and I couldn't bring ourselves to pick any of the NINE we had sampled. Really. So we chose a bubbly 'something' we hadn't sampled. We left it on the table. No wonder there are so many Truro vineyard glasses in the airBnB no one wants the memory of this place.

We stopped into this vineyard 15 min before they closed. Unfortunately, they would not serve wine flights anymore and only had the back bar open. I picked one of their custom cocktails with their distilled spirits. I was not impressed. My group got their wine and it was okay. The scenery was beautiful and had a lot of shade over the seating area outside. They have a private area for members only inside the main building. I do like the take away aluminum cup! That's a nice touch and keepsake. I'm glad I experienced this place, but personally would not go back.

Truro Vineyards is a very surprising place. Who would have thought that grapes for wine can grow in fields near the Atlantic Ocean in this climate of salt water and sea air so well? We went into the gift shop and bought a 4 pack of their wine that comes packaged in lighthouse replica bottles for $83. The ladies in the gift shop are very good with service and take care to package everything well. The feel of the shop is very rustic yet modern!

Fun place to stop for wine or spirits tasting. Pretty outdoor seating with food available. Our server was very friendly. You get to keep a glass from the winery with each tasting.

This place can get busy during the summer so be prepared. The wine itself is meh as with all the wines in this part of the country but they also have spirits. Outside in the front is where they do the tastings. We were told they were booked up for tastings but took our name. So we went to the back where you can just buy glasses of wine and sit outside at one of the tables. They have a pavilion with a roof so even if it rains you can still sit outside. That's what we ended up doing and had a good time. Prices are fair for what you get. They have a food truck though it's unclear if you can bring your own food or not. We saw people doing it but we weren't sure if it was allowed or if they were being sneaky. We just went in the gift shop and bought some cheese and crackers. Overall it was a beautiful day and we had fun meeting with friends.

We were headed to Provincetown for the 4th of July fireworks and decided to stop at the only winery in the area, which also happened to be a distillery. I was excited to try both their wine and whiskey. When we arrived, the place was packed. The process here was different from most wineries I've visited. Typically, you arrive, go to the front, and sample wines easily. However, this place had a more complex setup. We had to go to a waiter at the front of the lawn, who found us seats and provided menus. We were given a predetermined list of wines to taste, including a White M Blend (a mix of Riesling, Pinot Blanc, and Albariño), Rosé, Cabernet Franc, and a semi-sweet Cranberry Red. As a fan of dry reds and whites, I preferred options like the Maritime Red (a dry, lighter-bodied Cabernet Franc), Triumph (a dry, full-bodied Estate Red), and Red M Blend (a dry mix of Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Petite Sirah). Unfortunately, I was told I couldn't choose these wines for tasting. The tasting cost $15 for four wines, roughly $3.75 per glass. I decided to order a glass of Cabernet Franc, which was good. I didn't sample any whiskey, as I was more interested in trying their rum, rye, and a couple of other spirits not on the tasting list. My recommendation is to create a more relaxed environment where customers can choose what they want to sample since they are paying for the experience. When I asked one of the staff at a trailer about sampling other items, he directed me back to our waiter. They had a building where you could purchase wine, whiskey, and gifts, with a special section in the back for members only, offering dedicated support for their needs. Overall, the wine was good, but the service was odd. We had to wait for someone to come to our table, and our waiter got distracted by another guest, neglecting our table for a while. They had us scan a code to order food, so why not do the same for wine and allow customers to pick it up themselves? Despite these issues, the waiter was pleasant, and the vineyard offered plenty to do, including taking photos, which not all places allow. In summary, while the wine was enjoyable, the service and tasting process could be improved to provide a more customer-friendly experience.

One of my favorite vineyards! Always a great time with great friends live music. I always look forward to stopping here on my trip to the cape!

This is an adorable little vineyard. We had planned to come here prior to our trip. There's an outdoor area out front and back. Inside the little house there are gifts and wine bottles, etc to purchase. In the back is where the wine tasting is. My dad did a wine tasting and I did a mimosa. You get to keep your souvenir glass with the wine tasting. There's the outside area that's covered in case of rainy days. The grape vines are behind you. Cute and cozy vineyard. Not sure if they do events but would be wedding perfect scenery.

Beautiful space and the perfect place to stop for a cocktail or glass of wine when on the lower cape! I have lived on the Cape for a huge part of my life and just finally made it here at age 30. We stumbled upon Truro Vineyards when they happened to be having a gorgeous Christmas market, which made the experience super fun, but also not exactly what we expected. Due to the event, they weren't doing tastings so we didn't get the experience we hoped for, but still had a blast. I tried their M Blend, which was nice, but extremely expensive at $15 a glass. They also weren't offering bottles to share, which we would have preferred to do. I will absolutely come back next time I am on Cape to try more wines!

Ask the Community - Truro Vineyards

Are we able to tour the vineyard?

    Yes

Is there a large space for if it rains? I am planning on coming with 15 people on Friday and there is a chance of rain. Not sure if they have tents set up in the summer

Tastings are outside under a covered space but that's about it

"Walk in as strangers, leave as friends."…read more If that's not a saying that makes you want to head there now, then I don't know what is LOL! Obviously, there is more to the new renovated location of La Cantina than this saying but I will say I was pretty impressed when I saw it and knew I had to add it to my review. Let's just say it is pretty accurate. We did leave as friends since we made a few at the bar and then some. Just saying! La Cantina winery in Franklin, MA used to be a small wine bar that offered wine tasting flights and minimal food. BUT, now it is in a stunning new location (not far from their old stomping grounds). Fun Fact: It used to be a Mechanic garage. Well, wait until you see how it has turned from fixing cars to wine making and tasting. YOU HAVE GOT TO COME HERE! Parking is easy with plenty of spots. They have a lot of room at their gorgeous bar, but they also have high tops and tables for families or a large group. And, they host events here too; birthday parties, bridal showers, and anything in between, this place is it. I actually want to hold one of my milestone birthday parties here but well keep the number a secret for now. Service: Alana was our bartender and she was wonderful. Always asking us what we needed and how were doing. You don't get this upscale service any where else. And, when I wanted another sample of something she gave it to me without a fuss. Always with a smile on her face, she was the best. Wine: They have an excellent wine menu to choose from and they offer flights for about $25 pp. Flights are the best way to try multiple wines. I personally loved most of the red wines with Petit Sirah being my favorite. My husband loved their Barbera! I did sample their Sauv Blanc too which was nice but it was too cold to have a full pour. Food: Their menu is great with a ton of options from charcuterie, to tapas and some entrees. I will say some of their items can get expensive but definitely worth it. We started with a few cheeses and prosciutto. Then we ordered one of their popular pizzas called La Cantina. Everything was fresh, made in house with their beautiful pizza oven right smack in the middle of the bar. You have got to see this thing, its huge! Overall: If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We had the best time and we can't wait to go back. Franklin is not far from where we live but still a good 30 minute drive and also not far from the Wrentham outlets. We didn't have to make a reservation for a Sunday afternoon but I bet Saturdays can get pretty busy. I just loved everything about this wine bar and I know you will too! Cheers~

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! We did the Ink Block tour last week and it is overpriced and I had a very…read moredisappointing experience with the owner over costs. He is the dodgiest businessman I've ever encountered, to the point where I feel obligated to write my first Yelp review. I do not like sharing negative information but this treatment pushed me to share my experience so that it won't happen to anyone else. To reserve a tour, you first have to pay a deposit at the time of booking (fair enough) but then you have to pay in full for each person ($70/pp) the week before the tour. The owner, Joe, also encouraged me to pay for gratuity for each person ahead of the tour but at least I didn't do that piece on my credit card. So before even setting foot on this tour, I paid $840 for a party of 12. As luck would have it, our tour date was the weekend of Winter Storm Riley, that super windy Nor'easter/ Bombogenesis! We had friends joining from out of town who couldn't make it due to canceled flights and power outages. I got in touch with Joe the morning of our tour and told him 3 people couldn't join us (which later turned into 4 ppl), could he please help us out so we didn't have to pay in full for everyone who wasn't able to attend due to extreme weather and got the response of "Hey no problem! I will look when I get home... I'm already down here setting up.. so just come have a good time! :-)" Foolishly, I thought this meant he would help us out. I was wrong. Although Joe was at the restaurants before, during and after our tour, and had them rearrange the place settings to be set-up for our smaller group, he claimed there was nothing he could do about the extra $280 I had paid. I talked about this with him at the end of the tour (he awkwardly showed up at our last stop and took over for our much more personable tour guide) and he kept telling me that he would look into when he got home on his computer but there was nothing he could do now. While we were standing in the restaurant. Read: I don't want you to stiff us on the tip. (I did still tip our tour guide.) So the next day I followed up with him and asked for an update on the extra $280 I paid and was told he was working with the restaurants to see if he could get a refund for what he paid. When I reminded him he had told me this would be "no problem", he ended the email by saying "So I'm working with the locations to see if I can retrieve money back so I need some time. I promise I will do my best to help you out." I wrote to him and asked for another update yesterday, 7 days after our tour, before I wrote any reviews. No response. After not hearing back from Joe, who had told me he was "working with the locations", I decided to call one of the locations. Guess what? Joe had never contacted them. The owner was very sorry to hear this and said of course he would have helped out. He even kindly offered us free food the next time we go in since, as he said, we were getting "a sh!tty deal". The restaurants were great. Once caught in this lie, Joe told me there was nothing he could do about a refund but he offered me another wine tour. Riiiiight. A few ways Joe could have made this less painful of an experience was (1) not to lie repeatedly about helping me out with a refund. Why string me along? (2) given us something for the $280 I paid. If nothing else, give us the wine that I had pre-paid for, or the small bites at the restaurants. Just as a good business gesture of "Hey I'm sorry so many friends couldn't make it due to the insane weather and you have to eat the costs...here's an extra _ANYTHING_ for your trouble!" He had enough time to tell the restaurants our group size was smaller, just not enough to return some of the extra money he pocketed, so we paid the extra money for absolutely nothing. For $840 we got: 3 stops at restaurants basically next door to each other (Area Four, Lion's Tail, Fuji) At Area Four: 1 bottle of red, 1 bottle of white (retails for $19.99) poured amongst 9 people (incl tour guide) plus two small cheese flatbreads At Lion's Tail: 1 bottle of red and 1 bottle of white poured amongst 9 and two meat/cheese boards (several vegetarians on our tour but you don't get asked about the food that's been pre-arranged) At Fuji: 1 bottle of wine and 1 of champagne poured amongst 10 people (owner, Joe, jumped in here) plus edamame and spicy tuna rolls for the table (again, many didn't eat these) In summary, we paid $840 for 6 bottles of wine plus nibbles from the host kitchens that many wouldn't eat, and got lied to by the owner for a week until he gave up the lie and told me he has a no refund policy. It was painful. Please don't make the same mistake!
