Wednesday is half priced bar drinks, and while their prices are already low, the Wednesday deal is a steal! We ordered several classes of chardonnay, beer, a few shots of tequila, the burger sliders and wings. For a Wednesday night, it is pretty dead, which meant we had the arcade to ourselves and a very attentive waiter. Every round of drinks came out fast, and our food did not take much longer than that. The burger sliders were just that, sliders, but the sauced and dry rubbed wings were great! The rest of our party ordered the pretzel board, pizza, and more wings, which were seemingly good. Our waiter did mention they are revamping their menu, so stay tuned for potential changes in their food offerings.

My friend wanted to play Duckpin bowling, but it was $35 an hour for up to 6 people. Lucky we asked the bartender if we could pay for it at the bar and she talked to the bar manager and he said sure! It's only $3 a game per person! Now we're talking! We had 4 people and one game each was perfect for $12. You don't need bowling shoes, there is barely an approach. It was super fun! They had many specials such as street tacos $3, Modelo draft beer $4 and Margaritas $5. We had the Supreme flatbread for $14 and it was good. My Friend ordered the charcuterie board for $24. I really loved the sausage and the display was presented in a giant pretzel. I love the couches for trivia so nice and comfortable! The staff preferred not to have a photo so I respected their wishes. The building is huge with no one In it, which makes me sad! We will definitely be back for trivia and hopefully Duckpin bowling will be $3 a game again! If you're looking for a fun place for the family look no further this is the place for you!!!

I've volunteered at their races with family and friends as well as participated in almost all of them over the years since DSA started. The events that are part of their Las Vegas schedule throughout the year: -4th of July 5K Blast -Las Vegas Wobble Before You Gobble 5K -Pilgrims Rock 5K/10K/Half Marathon, now know as the Dirty Bird for 2016 -Summerlin Half Marathon -Las Vegas Wildland Fire Awareness 5K and Half Marathon -Skye Canyon 8K Trail Mix/5K Road This company is run by ultramarathoner Molly Sheridan and her family of runners, so you should feel confident that DSA events are well-organized and created from experience. Their events are for all levels, as well, from the beginner to the experienced ultra-runner. Never feel like you're too slow or aren't a "runner;" DSA events are walker-friendly. From her own experience of racing, Ms. Sheridan knows what participants want and need in events and Desert Sky Adventures caters to those, from goodie bags with race t-shirts, stocked aid stations along the courses with plenty of volunteers, to cool finisher medals, your walk/run experience at one of their events will be a fun one. They were on top of everything, from the parking staff to ticket staff and all the vendors. I waited in line with the other thousands of people and we were ready for a great time. Well a great time is what they provided. The vendors were a plenty and nothing was left undone. For 25.00 per adult and kids under 12 free there was so much to offer. To the left was the beautiful and very friendly Rockstar girls taking photos with fans and giving out great samples of new flavors and then i looked to the right and thought to myself wait a minute, is that Jeremy Mcgrath? Yes it was along with all the drivers and all the cars for you to walk right up and look at. The 25.00 ticket was for the open pit and meet all the drivers. After meeting the drivers and checking out the cars now it's time to get seated, this is gonna be great. The roar of the engines and the and the craziness of the fast, high flying cars and truck had the crowds going wild. Looking around I could see this was a great place for a family to spend the day. Don't miss out on the next race out here at Wild West Motorpark.

This is the first year that I've attended the race and hosted a table with my business as a sponsor. They mentioned the event would go on, rain or shine, but I was really hoping that we wouldn't have to go through the rain part. Unfortunately, it did rain - and pour rain - during most of the event. When I arrived at 5:40 a.m. to set up my table, I was amazed to see people already on site prepping for the day. Every sponsor table was under a makeshift canopy/tent, but my table was still wet from the rain throughout the night. Thankfully, the event organizers were not only delightfully happy to see me, but bent over backward to get me anything I needed. And while they didn't have the foresight to bring towels to wipe the tables down, they did offer me an event shirt to use, which I ended up taking home to commemorate the event, even though one wasn't supposed to come with our sponsor package. As the day wore on toward 7 a.m. and later, more and more people started to arrive and linger around. The sponsor email said to expect ~3,500 people (~4,000 with family and friends), and it looked to be about that many people who showed up. The event organizers planned wonderfully with the city to make sure adequate police and security protection was on sight from set up the day before throughout the night to the next day, so that runners were able to make it through the downtown area to the start line without traffic disturbances, as the procession led down several city blocks to Idlewild park. The finish line was beautifully designed and hosted by Renown Health, and came complete with swag, food, and drink to replenish the runners as they arrived. I'm unsure of how much of the money raised actually goes to the cost of research, as compared to the cost of administration. I know the goal for the event was to raise $200,000, and I think they raised less than $100,000, but Susan Komen's Race for the Cure is a widely known and marketed event that is supposed to bring a lot of people together through fundraising efforts to raise money for research and awareness of the effort to beat cancer. Overall, I'd say this event was a huge success, and I look forward to hopefully running in the next one, in addition to being a repeat sponsor.

I really love the new location at Idlewild park! There were many Vendors, Food and Drink Choices. One of my favorites is Mr Margarita. I love to mix the two choices together $9. I was starved and I had a $5 hot dog that hit the spot. Then my husband tried a hand dipped foot long corn dog which I had a bite of and it was tasty. What's not to love at the festival, I think any choice is a win! The musical was good, I found it interesting you can now purchase VIP tables each day. What a nice added touch to the event. There are many add ons you can purchase as well. Something for everyone, craft beer tasting, rafting, golf, rock climbing or just sit back and listen to the entertainment while taking in the beauty of your surroundings. If you haven't gone to the festival I definitely suggested going, you can take blankets, low back chairs, but no pets or outside food or drink. General admission is a weekend pass only $15 no exceptions.

The live performances were fun, and I can definitely see this becoming a staple for Reno Events. I didn't expect to pay $20 for entrance which was a bummer as we were going to bring more family and friends but the entry cost was a little too high for bringing kids. There were a nice set of carnival rides, but I was discouraged on buying tickets as we had already $40 to get into the event and wanted to save some of our budget to buy things from vendors. We went on the last day of the event, in the early afternoon and it was nice to see more locals enjoying themselves and it wasn't too crowded which was a plus in our book! My fiancé and I loved that dogs are welcome to join us as some other outdoor events do not allow us to bring our puppy. Overall, the variety of food, atmosphere, and performances were awesome! I only wish the entry price was reduced as I would've brought more people and would've had more money to spend on the vendors. Final verdict... I would definitely come back, but only if the entry prices come down or are removed. If this is your first time attending the event, the $20 is not so bad to see the art installations and see the live performances. I would recommend this for first timers.
