We had so much fun. I usually don't look forward to the air races because they fly over our house,…read morebut when you're there, it's so much different. You actually get to see the humans that are flying the planes, rather than just the planes themselves, which gives you a little bit more Appreciation for them. We didn't run into a single person, volunteer, staff member, or the people who were watching, who weren't awesome! Everybody was happy, no tempers, even though the smoke was horrible, everybody just enjoyed themselves. I was really disappointed when they had to call it before the last two shows, but I appreciate the fact that they do that for safety. Safety is of the utmost importance! Thanks to all the pilots, staff members, vendors, and volunteers who helped to make our day special!

National Championship Air Races has to be one of the coolest events that happen in Reno, Nevada…read more There are other cool events but this is a good one. If you have never been to the air races, GO! At the very least go there once to check everything out. They have vendors that sell food, nick-nacks, air races memorabilia, gift items, air race t-shirts, sweaters, hats, did I mention food! And so much more! It's kind of like the Reno Rodeo circus area with the vendors and there are planes everywhere but not as hot haha. Well, depends of the year and also what time of day you go. But there is always something going on all day long, Thursday all the way to Sunday. Obviously, the main days are Friday and Saturday for spectators. But I like to beat the crowd and go Thursday or Sunday. Either way it's a good time. Parking can be tricky here on the busy days. Just prepare yourself for it. It will be a bit annoying but it is not the hardest thing you will ever have to do in your life haha. You have a few choices for parking. There is paid parking which is the safe bet and you can try your luck on one of the street parking with the possibly of getting towed. Make sure if you do the street parking don't park where it says "don't park" because they will tow your vehicle away. Just FYI this is where those tow truck guys make a killing but act at your own discretion. You will pay an entrance fee at the gate after parking but well worth it. There is plenty to see. There are air races going on all day so you can see that pretty much anywhere in the area. Also, they do arial shows. There is a military display area, where they have military planes on display. They have these big military planes you can go in and check it out. They will sometimes have old military planes on display along with the new planes that are in service now. It is really neat to see. If you haven't been to the air races come check it out. You really should. Thanks for reading my review.

My friend wanted to play Duckpin bowling, but it was $35 an hour for up to 6 people. Lucky we asked the bartender if we could pay for it at the bar and she talked to the bar manager and he said sure! It's only $3 a game per person! Now we're talking! We had 4 people and one game each was perfect for $12. You don't need bowling shoes, there is barely an approach. It was super fun! They had many specials such as street tacos $3, Modelo draft beer $4 and Margaritas $5. We had the Supreme flatbread for $14 and it was good. My Friend ordered the charcuterie board for $24. I really loved the sausage and the display was presented in a giant pretzel. I love the couches for trivia so nice and comfortable! The staff preferred not to have a photo so I respected their wishes. The building is huge with no one In it, which makes me sad! We will definitely be back for trivia and hopefully Duckpin bowling will be $3 a game again! If you're looking for a fun place for the family look no further this is the place for you!!!

We had a couple lanes reserved for us. Plenty of space for seating, eating, etc. Please see all my pictures. I had a few tacos, churros, beer, and ice tea. I left very satisfied. Ambiance - The space is AMAZING, both indoor and outdoor. Huge and plenty of different things to do. Good options to eat or drink, especially with a full bar. See pictures of their menus. Racing, duckpin, mini gold, arcade, eating and drinking, etc. So many options. A great place to host events, corporate meetings, etc. Or just a great day/night for a family outing, date night, etc. Open 7 days a week from 10am or 11am to 10pm or midnight. Plenty of mall parking; they are located in the very back of the mall next to Planet Fitness; so again, plenty of parking. Many promotions, especially daily; see their website. Service - Great. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Many promotions and events; see their website. Price - Today's event was free for me as Chris and SBDC hosted it. But all the prices seem very reasonable for a great and fun day. See my pictures. Student discounts available; see their website. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2008, since 2013 in Reno, and almost a year at this new beautiful location.

Some spectators bring their RVs and use a dedicated lot (no hookups) for a fee that is outside of the airfield. You can't see the races from the RV lot so plan on still paying to get in. You used to be able to pay for food and merchandise with cash or cards. Nowadays, you can only pay with a card. I believe you can still pay with cash or card for your entry ticket though. Years ago, the entertainment was non-stop. Nowadays, there are definitely some "dead air" periods. General Admission doesn't get you into the pit area. That's an extra fee. After the races are done for the day, you can go in the pits with your GA ticket. There's a fee for parking too. I also believe there are a few shuttles that run from downtown Reno or a couple casinos. Overall, the aviation entertainment is top notch. The fastest group warbirds has dwindled over the years as it cause a lot of money to run these aircraft. At this year's races, there was a jet racer crash. Anderson performs its work with high professional standards and treats customers with exceptional service. We highly recommend Anderson Powersports! For those of you interested, here is the rest of the story: Since his original purchase, my Bob has taken his RZR side-by-side to Anderson for customized upgrades and extra bells and whistles. Just prior to our 2-week departure for a backcountry vacation with family, Bob picked up the RZR from Anderson after they had installed some new wiring and audio upgrades. Even though the RZR worked at Anderson and was unloaded at our home, on the day of our departure, it would not start. Figuring Anderson had failed to properly connect all wiring components, Bob became sooooo irate! The RZR doesn't work, he can't even load it up onto the trailer to bring it back to Anderson AND we are now delayed in meeting our family. When he telephoned the good folks at Anderson, they quickly made arrangements to send two members of the crew to our home (almost 20 miles away!). They arrived with tools plus the plan to physically push the RZR up on the trailer if they couldn't immediately solve the problem. Fortunately, Redmond got in the driver's seat and IMMEDIATELY started up the RZR to a sweet purr. What was the problem??? My husband did not have THE GEAR IN PARK! Bob was beyond embarrassed and couldn't apologize enough for his gruff, accusatory remarks. The guys shook his hand, told us, "We hope your trip goes well," and EVEN REFUSED to take payment for their house call. Who do you know that treats their customers so well? I only know of Anderson Powersports in Reno!

I was surprised to see how they pushed the entrance area past the barn, but totally makes sense for those who may want to just stop by to shop and not want to enjoy the festivities. The staff were all friendly and kept up with keeping the animal pens clear of poop, especially for the petting ones. They had signage to designate which ones you could feed the animal food to and which ones you couldn't enter due to the animals resting. I really liked how they sectioned off all the animals off to the left side with its own entrance and exit and lots of sanitizing and handwashing stations nearby. They had some new things at the farm too. I saw signage advertising Cuddling with Calves for $20 (kids 8+). They also had some additional calves to see and pet along the way. So adorable! Outside of the animal area, they had a new section, Peacock Pedalers, that allowed kids and adults to ride tricycles around. They also had refreshment stations within the farm for drinks, kettlecorn, and other snacks, which made it convenient. What surprised me was that the features that were typically busy on our past visits, like the mini zip lines and the barrel ride, were very little to no waits. They offered lots of seating for taking a break and grabbing some food from the three food trucks they offered. The pulled pork nachos were yummy! It was a great deal to spend the day at the farm for $20 tickets. Yes, they offered lots of additions like the animal feed, train tickets, and gem sluicing for a price but not really necessary to have a great experience. The baby chicks and goats were the highlight of our visit. My daughter wants to go back next weekend!
