I had my lashes done by Valerie this past Saturday and I'm super happy! First off- the lash place is actually located in a tiny house BEHIND the salon, not in it. Took me a few minutes of panic when the salon was locked up to realize that. Valerie was super friendly and informative and I felt immediately at ease with her. I was using a Groupon for a classic set with a two week fill. I basically just said I wanted as dramatic as I could and she said leave it up to her and I did! I really appreciated how she did a test lash to make sure the length wouldn't hit my glasses, and that she let me get up halfway through for a bathroom break! I've only had my lashes done at bigger chains where it's in and out in an hour but Valerie was painstaking in her application and took about an hour and 20. She really cares about her work. It's almost two days later and I've lost just a SINGLE lash. I'm leaving it at four stars for now- i want to see how they hold up when I workout and shower and I will update the review at my two week fill! **EDIT** Upped to five stars. My lashes lasted perfectly for two weeks, minus natural shedding. Valerie was as thorough if not more so on the fill, she took almost as long to fill as she did with putting a full set on! Every lash is placed with care, and she's fun to talk to. I love her and will absolutely be back!!! read more

My lashes were also extremely uneven and the process was painful compared to previous professional technicians (pinching eyelids). Bad attitude as well, and Dirty supplies. "DIS" lash boutique??? Monik and Valerie are extremely talented professionals who not only send me home with phenomenal lashes both ladies provide excellent conversation. I"ve had 4 total visits. 3 with Valerie and 1 with Monik. During my visit with Monik our conversation was so entertaining and funny I had difficulty staying still. Despite all of my moving Monik never missed a beat. My lashes were amazing. I am so happy with my lashes!!! I don't have to wear eyeliner! I have checked out several other artists in the Austin area and I would highly recommend her. A friend of mine, her lashes looked amazing and it looked so natural. Found out her beautiful mom Monik owns her own boutique and does lash extensions. Monik is so down to earth, personable, and fun to talk with. I felt comfortable as she did them. Easy to book online and schedule with her. My wife's review: I love my new lashes and so does everyone else! I get compliments daily on how gorgeous my lashes are and if they're real? Because they look amazing and seamless! I only wear liquid blush and lipgloss and I'm good to go. I look made up even though I only spent less than 5 mins getting my face ready. Don't need mascara or liner or eye shadow. You can use them if you want BUT you Don't Need them! I love it! Perfect for a beach vacation because you still look amazing and don't have to worry about water proof mascara. I've been seeing Valerie for over 2 years and her work is hands down amazing! Before Dis Lash, I was going to a bigger chain to get my lashes done. I felt like I was just a number being rushed in and out of the door, and they could care less if I was happy with my service. Valerie takes her time, uses the best products, gives realistic expectations and is very skillful at what she does. She's also very professional and makes you feel comfortable. Following appointment I had trouble with extreme shedding she commenced to harass me via text. Would not see the problem in person behaves as if she doesn't want to be there. I was understanding with her but we are dealing with our eyes. Care should be taken. Does not know Russian style but is willing to charge you to try. Valerie has been doing my eyelashes now for about two years and I have never been disappointed.
