Whether doing the above or getting dressed up for dinner - I didn't need to mess with that pesky makeup stuff. Now that is a cool vacation. :) RE: OILS: Whole foods sells a small container of jojoba oil. It was cheap, I picked it up. I rub it on lashes for maintenance. The advantage also being that it doubles as eye moisturizer as well. (Serious advantage in that even given the fact I should have some sort of beauty routine I still use soap and water on my face. But I digress...) Re: NATURAL BLONDES: Mary ALSO is the the ONLY person I know who can match eyebrows to my naturally light blond hair. Which, given their super light /nonexistent natural state is pretty impressive. She is part aesthetician and part artist. Re: DRIVING UP NORTH Yes, she's worth it. I live right downtown, and it's a 15 minute drive straight up 1-35 if there isn't any traffic. I can spend that much time getting across downtown sometimes.

I will say, the lashes look phenomenal so, it just sucks this happened! ALWAYS speak up if the pad feels uncomfortable! ----- All the ladies are very nice and I had good experiences up until I sat thru the appointment with the owner Chelsey. I understand accidents happen, but at the end of the appointment I opened my eyes and they were burning especially my right eye. I left the appointment feeling like there was something legitimate in my eye. I checked over and over and made sure it wasn't a lash touching my eye when I blinked. Finally was brought to tears as my eye was quite red and just, messing with eyes and not knowing if it's injured is scary. After I cried, miraculously the item got dislodged and finally felt better. I woke the next day to a VERY red and sore eye in the same spot, not a physically inflamed eye area though. I don't know what got in my eye/scratched it but at the end with the lash bonding agent, possibly the under eye pad scratching my eye during the appointment...I just don't know what happened. She seemed to work fast which I don't see as a bad thing, but if it made this happen then maybe go slower? I just want my story to be a cautionary tale. Know the risks getting false lashes. Not worth the risk imo

Therefore, when researching Estheticians to do my brows, I wanted to make sure they were done right as I would not be using make-up to correct or cover up any imperfections or mistakes on my brows.
