The girl at the front desk (I think she is a skinny Latina girl) on Tuesday 7/15 between 4pm - 4:30pm was very inconsiderate. She was dealing with insurance on the phone on behalf of my Dad. When they (Insurance) were recommending us to somewhere else, she said Charleston is where they would accept us. We won't take it because it's far. When we said this, she smirked. {I was talking with my Mom, and the girl butted in the conversation} the girl said "Ma'am (to me), your Dad also asked about marriage counseling". Unhelpful. It's so sad that these places are put in place to help, and they don't. These people wouldn't help me with my disability application, and told me to wait either 3 months, or until I'm denied and then call back. My experience so far has been okay. The person who did the intake could have been more courteous. She was robotic and not empathetic at all, something to be considered when dealing with people who have disabilities or just need help in general. AWFUL! They do nothing! Second appeal for my SSI claim denied again 4 days ago! A year and a half later, nothing being accomplished! I have more health issues than I can count at this point! I don't think they are even doing a thing to win my case! They are definitely not keeping up with sending over my medical records like they said they would! They don't keep in touch unless you reach out to them! Haven't heard from my Case Worker in over 4 months! I asked them to handle my disability case. I didn't hear anything from them months and months and received my denial letter from the state before I had my "Lawyers" gave me a call and let me know casually a month later. The contact with these people is a waste of time. I am unable to get anyone but a voicemail over and over and over. After I called the company to let them know that I am done with them and to go ahead and get my information out of their system so I can move on to a more competent lawyer, the person who answered the phone went on to almost argue with me about whether or not I had contacted them enough. read more

What can I say, Disability Help Center Nevada won my case for me. Very happy with the results. It is a long, tedious, wait and see type of journey, but folks I dealt with, Monet (Receptionist) and Derrick (Case Handler) were always helpful when I checked in. A special shout out for my lawyer, Lisa Mouradian, a winning lawyer, not only interested in winning my case, but for my future and health she was counselling me to do better for myself, and this was before I won. On top of that, she believed if I didn't win, to not quit and keep going. But she always was positive and said Dennis you have a strong case. I was treated like I am less than, like my concerns were not valid, and like they'd rather be doing anything else than having to deal with me. If the owner of this business condones this behavior, (s)he ought to be ashamed of themselves and close it down. Clients are signing contracts with this company because of the promise to be helpful, just like I did, and instead, I feel like I've been ridiculed, spoken to in the most demeaning ways, and essentially, betrayed.
