We only found the issue after we were able to regain possession of the property. We called Carolina Mold, and they came out that day to look at the problem. By that evening we had a quote to complete the work. They scheduled the work for three days later and two technicians arrived at the scheduled time. They partitioned off the bathroom and performed remediation on the area. They also scrubbed down the walls and all the carpets on that floor to make sure that all the surrounding rooms had been treated too. That evening, I received an email with a link to all the photos that had been taken for my records; as well as confirmation of payment. Carolina Mold Solutions was responsive, professional, and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone who is having a mold issue.

I was referred…read moreby a neighbor who used Palmetto Environmental and he said that they did great structural work for him and to work with Matt. One of the reps came by and did an inspection of the crawl space and was extremely professional and I could tell that he knew what he was talking about when it came to crawl spaces and foundations. A few hours later I had a bid for the job that was very reasonable and I decided to move forward with the work. After the work was completed, I had my own structural engineer take a look at the work (always recommended), and he found a few additional items that he said needed to be taken care of prior to him writing a letter certifying that the structure was sound. Matt was in the crawl space with my inspector during his review and said that he would take care of any issues. A week later the work was completed and Matt worked with my structural engineer for a re-inspection and it passed. Matt was a pleasure to work with and the reason that I recommend this company so highly. He is a man of his word and if he says he is going to do something, it gets done. He wants to make sure you are happy as a customer and he will go great lengths to ensure you are.

We were pressured to pay in full the same day the work was completed and were told everything was properly done and under warranty. In January 2026, during a buyer's inspection while selling our home, multiple serious deficiencies were found. Three independent companies inspected the crawlspace and all raised major concerns. Key structural repairs were not completed or were improperly installed, fungal growth remained present, and the crawlspace was still structurally compromised. We ultimately had to give the buyer a $20,000 concession so they could hire another company to fix the work we had already paid Crawlspace ER to perform. When confronted with the findings, Crawlspace ER offered only a partial refund and denied misrepresentation. Our experience was completely inconsistent with the claims of "great quality" and "excellent communication" described in other reviews. If you have already had work done by this company, I strongly recommend obtaining an independent inspection to verify the quality of the work. We deeply regret using Crawlspace ER and would caution others to do extensive due diligence before hiring them for major structural or remediation work.
