I drove to Los Angeles and parked in a covered garage on a humid day. When I parked, there was no visible crack. However, when I returned about four hours later, a crack had propagated approximately 12-14 inches up the windshield. My best guess is that the combination of temperature, humidity, and pressure changes caused the damage to spread. I called JC Mobile Auto Glass on a Thursday around 4:00 PM. They ordered the replacement windshield from San Bernardino and had it delivered to their High Desert shop by 9:00 AM the following morning. They gave me a two-hour service window (9:00-11:00 AM), and the technician arrived at my home right on schedule. The technician was very conscientious when working around the plastic trim surrounding the Toyota Safety Sense front-facing camera. Those components can be fragile, but he took his time, carefully removed the original windshield, and professionally installed the new one in just under 45 minutes. The workmanship was excellent, and he treated the vehicle with care throughout the installation. I was very satisfied with both the price and the service. The convenience of having a technician come directly to my home, especially at such a reasonable price, made the experience even better. The new windshield looks fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate to use JC Mobile Auto Glass again. Great work, JC!

My vehicle only had front-end damage affecting the front bumper, wheel liner and clips, driver-side headlight, and an alignment/calibration issue. Despite this, the shop had my vehicle for almost a month, and communication during that time was extremely limited. Whenever I called to get an update or a realistic completion date, I was told that someone would call me back, but I rarely, if ever, received a return call. When a customer is paying out-of-pocket for a rental car every single day, clear and accurate communication is extremely important, and I did not feel that this was provided. Additionally, I later discovered that used parts were installed on my vehicle without being clearly communicated or explained to me in advance. If this was due to insurance constraints or parts availability, I believe it should have been discussed so I could make an informed decision, especially considering the potential impact on fitment, performance, and long-term reliability. When I was finally told that my vehicle was ready, I was informed that the alignment and calibration were still not correct and the car had to be sent to a sister shop, which added even more time. Once I picked the vehicle up, I noticed new issues that were not present before the repairs. When turning the wheel to the right, there is a strange noise, and at higher speeds it feels like the front driver-side wheel may be wobbling. These concerns make me very uneasy about driving the car, especially since I rely on it for work. I am also very apprehensive about bringing the vehicle back because I do not have the additional funds to pay for another rental car while it sits in the shop again. Based on the communication issues and extended timeline the first time, I am not confident about how long another repair attempt might take. To be fair, the body work itself looks good, and I have no complaints about the cosmetic repairs. However, the overall experience--delays, lack of communication, used parts being installed without advance notification, and now possible mechanical concerns--makes it difficult for me to recommend this shop. I had other repair options through my insurance, and I chose this one to support a smaller business, but I'm not sure I would make the same choice again. I hope the shop takes this feedback seriously and improves communication, transparency regarding parts, and quality control for future customers. I am willing to update this review if the shop reaches out and is able to resolve these concerns.
