Second time using JC Mobile Auto Glass, and I have nothing but good things to say. At some point, the windshield on my 2026 Toyota Corolla took a rock strike near the lower edge of the glass, close to the frame, without me even realizing it. I drove to Los Angeles and parked in a covered garage on a humid day. When I parked, there was no visible crack. However, when I returned about four hours later, a crack had propagated approximately 12-14 inches up the windshield. My best guess is that the combination of temperature, humidity, and pressure changes caused the damage to spread. I called JC Mobile Auto Glass on a Thursday around 4:00 PM. They ordered the replacement windshield from San Bernardino and had it delivered to their High Desert shop by 9:00 AM the following morning. They gave me a two-hour service window (9:00-11:00 AM), and the technician arrived at my home right on schedule. The technician was very conscientious when working around the plastic trim surrounding the Toyota Safety Sense front-facing camera. Those components can be fragile, but he took his time, carefully removed the original windshield, and professionally installed the new one in just under 45 minutes. The workmanship was excellent, and he treated the vehicle with care throughout the installation. I was very satisfied with both the price and the service. The convenience of having a technician come directly to my home, especially at such a reasonable price, made the experience even better. I would give zero stars if I could. After having my windshield replaced here, I discovered paint damage on my vehicle along the roof at the windshield line immediately after the service. This damage was not present prior to the appointment and is located directly in the work area. When I brought it to their attention, I was told it was due to "low quality paint" and not related to their workmanship. That explanation does not reasonably account for a single, localized chip in the exact area where the work was performed. Communication was also handled poorly. Instead of addressing the issue directly, I was initially given this explanation through text rather than speaking with the owner. When the owner, Raul, did respond, the situation was minimized and I was even offered a suggestion to purchase spray paint from an auto parts store to cover the damage, which is not an appropriate or professional solution. Since responsibility was not taken, I proceeded with filing a claim through their business liability insurance. The claim has since been acknowledged as valid and is now being handled by an adjuster. I'm sharing this so others are aware of my experience and can make an informed decision. ***UPDATE*** I'm going to keep this factual for anyone reading. I did not ask for anything "free." I reported damage that was discovered immediately after my windshield replacement, located directly along the area where the work was performed. This was not pre-existing damage. They broke my A-pillar molding when they replaced my windshield and tried to claim it was already cracked & brittle due to sun damage. This was a lie. I was also told 'these always break', but that I would have to pay to replace it. I found this out, AFTER I trustingly sent my payment to them thru Zelle. Big mistake, because the molding was brand new (A recent recall from dealer) and will cost me more than the cost of the windshield, to replace, to make it like new again. They wouldn't take responsibility to refund me the cost, instead the offered to replace it with a sub-standard product, at MY expense. The owner admitted that they should have warned me about the risk of these breaking, but did not do that, before it happened. Maria who took my call was very helpful and kind. I did not have to wait on hold or talk to an automated system which was very nice. I was easily able to schedule my windshield replacement at my home for a week out (my requested date). The install guy arrived at 9:15am between the time frame (9am-11am) given to me by Maria. Awesome! I have to say this install gentleman worked methodically, quickly and with care. I observed him occasionally through my security cameras. He made sure not to dirty or leave prints inside my car as he worked. He made sure to meticulously remove any old weather seal so he would have a clean surface for the new windshield install. Unfortunately the glass had to be specially ordered for my 2018 Accord because of the camera and sensors on the front windshield. Safelight was about to charge me $188 to do what these guys did. I was quoted $75 for them to come to me or $45 for me to come to them. I drive a RAV4. A rock hit my windshield on the freeway and made a small / medium sized dink. I went, they took maybe 20-30 to seal it and I was able to pay with my debit card. They gave me a receipt and the guy said if anything happens to the seal to call them and he will fix it. No issues yet! It's been over a week. Highly recommended! read more
