The other two chain locations can't find a problem unless the "computer ' tells them and even then charge way too much. Took the car to Dougs . Stated it would be $60 per hour to investigate . (Toyota $120 plus ,Firestone I estimated ran the same )Neither could locate the problem.Doug's mechanic located the problem in 30 minutes with one test drive .Quoted me a price PRIOR to starting work. Completed everything on time and came in UNDER estimate. Yes the neighborhood isn't the best but the service was exceptional. P.S If you look at other locations ALL of them state they are not responsible for items left in car. Did you lock the car when it was outside?

The insurance company had already informed me that it had been totaled. The nice young man who is one of the three people who run the place was so concerned about my husband walking back and forth to retrieve items from the car that he did the lion's share of it himself. Additionally, he removed the plates for me as the insurance company asked. I was so impressed. I was a law enforcement officer a long time ago and know my way around a yard, and he went way beyond the call of duty.

Our footplate was rusted and when the hitch wouldn't let go of the tow ball, the RV dropped destroying our footplate. I was able to figure that out in the short term but then we noticed our battery cable that connects both batteries wasn't attached and drug across the road destroying it which we couldn't use our power hitch--had to go manual. Finally, with 105 degree heat our ACs weren't keeping our RV cool. I found Tim at Southern Routes RV who came out, put a new foot plate on I previously ordered from Amazon, repaired the battery cable, and he serviced our two ACs which he identified wires that were improperly installed. Tim inspected and repaired all the wires resulting in both of our ACs blowing colder and more air! Thank God ... better yet, Thank Tim and Southern Routes RV! Preeminent technical service by a veteran owned business that has instilled trust and confidence with my wife and I. I already have them on speed dial for the next time!! If you're currently in the Corpus Christi-Aransas Pass-Port Aransas-Rockport area, you need RV work done, give Tim a call!

I took the truck back in for them to fix the antifreeze leak as a result of their initial repair. I…read morepointed out several other things that were wrong and they did not ix them all. The two headlights screws we're still incorrect and I had to go buy two more to fix that myself there was a hose that was routed incorrectly and not secured so I fixed that myself also, 5 push pin type plastic connectors to secure hoses and lines we're not secured and the coolant was a quart and a half low, on a positive note they did add the two missing screws to secure the radiator and fix the coolant leak and I gained a new boxend ratchet wrench for my toolbox. Extremely disappointed as everybody there was very friendly and nice but just could not seem to get it together to do a quality job.
