First, this place has been my go to spot for many years now. I use to buy by the cartons when I was doing seasonal work in Alaska. The original people working there are awesome good hearted people. All of a sudden, things have changed. A younger generation has been working there and they are extremely rude and mean, just mean! They always on their phone, don't greet you into their shop, etc. Horrible. It seems like since they selling hard drug paraphernalia, they've just changed. Today, I went down there to get a pack of cigg.s and forgot my wallet. I scraped my 4$ bills and some change from car and this girl got really rude with me. We dont take coins more than 2$" . I said "I thought money was money". She got upset and said "bring bills". Anyhow, I told her I wasn't coming back AND I WONT, Which is sad because this place use to be awesome. This review is solely for my interaction today with the worker. The owners (husband and wife) know me and what I usually get and we usually chatted for a little bit. They are always super nice to me when I come in. The younger girl too that used to be there always knew what I would get. However, this new guy, terrible and not personable at all. Today I decided to buy a power ball. I asked him how much it was. He said $5. So I said give me 10 as in $10. Instead, he rang me up for $50 worth! Insisted I had to buy it. The atm machine didn't work and I did it twice so I had to walk over to chase. I really didn't need to come back and could have just left, but since I was getting a pack of cigarettes too, I said screw it. I mean he could have checked with me if I meant $10 or 10 lines which everyone there usually does before printing it out. He did ask if I wanted quick pick in which I said yes. Who in their right mind gets $50 worth?? He knows me and I'm a regular and when I grabbed the pack of cigarettes first he took it back until I paid. Like what?! You think I'm going to steal it? Cmon. Unfortunately, if you're the owners reading this, I won't be back anymore because of him. Thank you for always being nice any time I come in. But this guy needs to get it together and have more of a personality and be smarter next time. That lotto mishap wasn't my fault and he should have made sure first. read more

My husband is Canadian and when he moved here he had the hardest time finding Du Mauriers. I finally brought it up to the owner of this shop, where I've been buying cigarettes for years. And guess what? He got them... He still carries them, just for my husband and it turns out that now there's one more Canadian guy who buys them. 0 stars- DON'T GIVE HIM YOUR MONEY. My boyfriend has been going to this store for years. I was short a nickel so my boyfriend went to the car right outside to grab one, then the owner went on to say it's a shame he has to wait so long for us to get the 5 cents, as if there was better things to do than to be patient with his customers, especially when he won't let you run your card for anything. When my boyfriend confronted him about it, the owner tried to justify his comments saying Filipinos have money, yet don't spend a lot in his store, not sure how much he expects people to spend in a little shop that sells lighters and outdated tech, or what our ethnicities have to do with it, long story short we're never going to spend another penny there. read more

I come by often to this smoke shop, I buy my necessities and go. The clerk was very fair and reasonable with me. One day I walked in purchasing my necessities. The clerk told me now and how he is started to buy any cellphone. There's a sign on the door "buying all cellphones". I said "Cool even Craigslist has phones for sale" The price of tobacco has gone up everywhere according to the clerk. As prices went up, I'll find other ways to shop. read more

The guy and his wife are super nice..Sometimes he'll talk your head off...but it's a community store and i don't mind that. Plus once you come in a few times, he/ she know you well and what not.. One definitely feels like a customer in there. THey don't let you leave unsatisfied..If there is something he doesn't have, he'll get or try, if not it seems he feels personally responsible.. Oh, they have a half-decent selection of cigars. Terrible customer service. I was looking for a quality vape and he was rushing me, and told me if i was looking for a cheap one for 5-6 dollars, to go online because he has a business to run. Money wasn't and isn't an issue. Quality is an issue. I don't appreciate being talked to like that. If you have a business to run, then learn customer service. Maybe people don't come to your store because you're rude and don't take the time to help the ones that come in. If you were nicer, and were educated on your products you would get customer loyalty. Incredibly rude and impolite. There is absolutely no customer service even the signs posted about customers wasting their time. I don't know how they expect to sell things with the attitude and their approach to potential customers who are interested in their products. It really is a shame. Complaining that we wasted his time by helping us get our lottery winnings and that he was not making any money when he was helping us. I'm so sorry you have to redeem our tickets, if it's such a bother why sell lotteries and scratchers then? Come here if you must, but if you want to patron a store that doesn't seem like they're just begrudgingly and resents your presence in their store, I'd really go else where. read more

If I could give this place no stars, I would! The man there is so rude. My BF had asked to look at a scale. The man there opened it for him and everything (so I guess he could deserve that 1 star). My BF was close to purchasing it but I came in and told him not to cause he should research it up first. So we told the man that we are going to go home to research it and that man had the nerve to say, "you guys should've researched it first before having me open it" I told him it's called customer service. He said you have to be a customer before getting service. The hell??? That's not how it works. I understand if we were little kids being annoying asking to open hella stuff but that was not the case. Would have been 5 if everything INCLUDING the cigarettes were cheap. However it is a smoke shop and smokes are well priced. The pipes and bongs are waaaaay to pricey. read more
